What size do I look?

I’ve recently (finally) lost 4 stone after having a baby 18 months ago. I’m 5ft 7. What size do I look and any ideas for flattering outfits? I still have a really large chest and bigger thighs so help would be appreciated as I’m really struggling with what to wear.

You look really great and well done.
Loosing weight after a baby can be brutal because of the tiredness.

I think wrap a round dresses and tops would suit you.

No idea and why ask?

You have big boobs and presumably have to buy tops to fit them.

As a guess I'd say a size 14-16 but based on your bust.

You look like a size 12 top, 12/14 bottom - with boobs that make the top size problematic. I am exactly the same.

I'm 5'7" with big boobs, but thankfully mine HAVE shrunk with weight loss. I'm still a 32J though.

I really don't like my boobs and I don't like the attention they attract, but as I have got older I've found I'd rather people think I'm busty than fat.

Especially as 99% of people don't think anything, at all. It's all in my head.

So you need to stop hiding them. Draw in your waist, and wear lower necklines. No deep plunges - I get it - but you need to break the block above your boobs up.

Your body looks ace and makes me feel good about mine - thanks!

Packetofcrispsplease · 22/05/2026 13:10

16 top , maybe 12/14 bottom depending on the style and the shop you’re buying from .
One of my daughters is your height , has similar size bust and she gets 16/18 tops and a 14 bottom

StylishAndBeautiful · 22/05/2026 13:11

You are you-sized.
The white t-shirt is completely the wrong shape for you. It makes you look slim but very busty.

You need to embrace your hourglass shape and use it.

A shift dress will not do you any favours whatsoever.

Applesonthelawn · 22/05/2026 13:12

Really great figure. I would just say co-ords to give you the flattering "all-in-one" look of a dress or jumpsuit but different size top to bottom so you fit it beautifully. You could go casual or smart that way. Great waist so cinch it in. You have a good height too - palazzo pant coord maybe?

ChocolateAddictAlways · 22/05/2026 13:14

You are a size gorgeous!

katepilar · 22/05/2026 13:15

YABU to think people can tell a size from such a picture.

LooLightSerenade · 22/05/2026 13:15

I made my estimate before checking your updates, and having a similar body-shape to you, I was right that your boobs would probably need a 16 or 18 whereas the rest of you would be more like a 12.

The fitted style you're going for in the pic is ideal in my experience - anything too loose and it will be like a tent suspended by your boobs, making the rest of you look much bigger.

Congratulations on your weight loss. Make sure you keep up to date with your bra, it's easy not to notice when your bra is getting a bit big, check your boobs are filling the cup rather than the cup pulling up to your shoulders and being empty in the top corner.

My weight has gone up and down a lot over the years (health related as much as anything) and I have a bag with - no exaggeration - 20 different sizes of bras that I have needed at different points. My boobs are always the last part of me to shrink.

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 22/05/2026 13:18

Take a trusted friend and go and try on lots of different styles to get an idea of what works for you. Dont go for anything floaty on top, you want to show of that waist, and long sleeve tops like the one you are wearing in the photo make your boobs look a bit low to me, but I note you go to bravissimo so assume you have a decent fitted bra. I have narrow shoulders and a G cup. I can wear short sleeve crew neck t-shirts (if slightly loose fit) but not plain long sleeve crew necks. I like shirts, but sometimes need to open them a bit lower because they don’t fit my boobs and wear a cami underneath. I can wear shorter boxy shirts and knits if you can see my waist, sometimes doing a bit of a french tuck.

well done on your weight loss!

Didimum · 22/05/2026 13:18

I think you look like a size 14 on the bottom and a 16 on top. Haven't read rest of thread so I wasn't influenced, so sorry if it's already been revealed! You have really nice legs and great posture.

Larrythecatforpm · 22/05/2026 13:25

16/18 on the top 14 on the bottom, but it’s probably the t shirt makes you look very busty!

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 22/05/2026 13:28

Size you look could be anything from 12-14 bottom but more on top, probably a 16.

Lornacranium · 22/05/2026 13:29

GoodkneeBadKnee · 22/05/2026 09:02

18 top 16 bottom.

Personally, I think you are just being nasty.

Lornacranium · 22/05/2026 13:32

crackofdoom · 22/05/2026 09:20

Good bras are a must, as they point everything up and out rather than letting it all flop in the direction of your midriff, giving the impression of bulk (based on personal experience here!)

Absolutely. Don’t underestimate a good bra.
I think Prima Donna are the best. Pricey but comfortable, don’t look they’re made by Wimpeys and they last ages.

EmmaM84 · 22/05/2026 13:37

I could be looking in a mirror at myself OP. Exact same figure as you lol.

Im very much a 14 getting into some size 12s depending on stretch. 32JJ bra size which does indeed limit the top department. I will only wear stretch on top as any (nice) structured tops need to be a size 16 and fit on boobs but swamp my waist, and forget about button shirts 😭 look for tops with shirred stretch back, they adapt to the chest and look a bit dresser than just a cotton tshirt. I actually got a nice one from Shein despite not expecting much. I find bodycon midi dresses flatter me really well, especially with a double layer of fabric if you have a bit of post weight loss loose skin around the middle. A chunky belt at the waist also emphasises the hourglass. Also, go for sweetheart or v neck neckline as opposed to high necks as they can make your chest look bulky.

OtterandaRock · 22/05/2026 13:39

14ish.

Enjoy wearing new things and your fab figure!

OneCoralGoose · 22/05/2026 13:52

GoodkneeBadKnee · 22/05/2026 09:02

18 top 16 bottom.

Are you trying to be a dick.

RinielUrban · 22/05/2026 13:53

You look awesome 🤩 don’t know whether it’s been said but what about shirred (at the top) fabric dresses

StylishAndBeautiful · 22/05/2026 13:53

OneCoralGoose · 22/05/2026 13:52

Are you trying to be a dick.

It seems that you are.

wishingonastar101 · 22/05/2026 13:54

Wear what ever you want and don't worry about size - as long as you're healthy!

Slightyamusedandsilly · 22/05/2026 13:55

Size 18. I'm currently a 14 (have been bigger) and think boobs and hips/thighs put you higher.

SoInLuv · 22/05/2026 13:57

Based on the photo: to me you look size 16 from top to bottom so all over, BUT: it is just one photo. Very hard to guess size etc.
Plus photos make us look bigger.
You say you fit into a size 12 at the bottom so of course you are size 12.
Congratulations 🎊 on your amazing weight loss!

cantthinkofagoodusername1 · 22/05/2026 14:00

Hard to tell size for sure because of your slightly side on pose, but you look fantastic and really well proportioned
