Following on from ⭐️LOSE IT! March 2026. Reset for Radiance⭐️

How was March’s Reset for Radiance for you? Not so radiant here what with an injured shoulder and a stinking virus to contend with 😅 Fingers crossed that April brings more than showers for us all!❤️

To reach optimum health and vitality (as well as a trim body) we need to focus not only on our food intake; but movement, our mental health and sleep quality too!

Who doesn’t want to feel good and energetic as well looking great!
Get on board to reset & refresh and become a healthier version of yourself.

These threads are for those who’d like to lose weight and those who wish to maintain whilst eating a healthy varied diet.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We have a WOW (weigh on Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable) that’s based on several sensible principles including:-

  1. Eat a variety of real whole foods such as fresh vegetables, salad, berries, beans, nuts, eggs, lean meat, good fats etc.

  2. Reduce sugars, simple carbs, alcohol and UPFs.

  3. Plan your meals & log your intake. Also be mindful of portion control.

  4. Intermittent fasting - research suggests (Zoe study) that adhering to an eating window of 10 hours can have a positive effect on health, wellbeing and weight loss. I personally have a eating window of approximately 7hrs - 12:00 - 19:00.

  5. Stay hydrated! 💧

  6. Move as much as able. Particularly strength based exercise. Muscle keeps you strong as well as revs up your metabolism.

  7. Get the fibre in! Great for your gut biome as well as 💩

  8. SLEEP! Good sleep hygiene and a regularly sleep routine can be beneficial to weight loss. I’m always more hungry following poor sleep.

  9. Be mindful about your own mental wellbeing and try not to eat your feelings. We’ve all been there!

  10. Be kind to yourself! ❤️ One or two slip ups won’t undo all your previous efforts. Just check-in with yourself, reinforce your good intentions and carry on.

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and eat twice a day. Im a long time healthy eater and overall I’ve lost over 3 stone.

After having been on the wrong side of 12st Im now hovering around 9st 3lbs.

Are you in?😊 What food plan will you be following? What do you want to change and why?

Any recipes/workouts that have worked for you, you’d like to share?

Me again... weight bibbed down to -26 1/2 again. Just wish it would stay there consistently and go down a bit more. Touching distance of the 2 stone mark. In other news - NSV - the lady who does the weight session said (unprompted) that my shape is changing. Somehow it ends up just being me and her, so I'm effectively getting a personal trainer for under £10 for the half an hour session!

Hope you're OK @TheRealHousewife as it's nearly new thread time!

See you all for WOW tomorrow

SeekingHappinesss · 28/04/2026 13:57

Thank you everyone!

I had to end my fast early yesterday as I cut my thumb in the garden and felt incredibly faint. I then ate far too many carbs whilst feeling sorry for myself. I was 1 pound up this morning. Back to it today. We have salmon teriyaki for dinner which is a favourite 😍

moondip · 28/04/2026 15:00

Well, I am already planning what crap to eat tonight as I’m feeling very sorry for myself today (for a variety of reasons), and rather than nourish myself with healthy and delicious food I’d of course prefer to have fish and chips 😆

Welcome @SeekingHappinesss 💜

Pasta4Dinner · 28/04/2026 15:02

So I hit 80.4kg mid March and not been able to get below that, until today! I’m 80.1kg. So close to getting under 80.
I need to get under 76.7kg so I can get out of the obese category.

Tichter · 28/04/2026 18:41

I've got to 83.3 (from 85) and need to get to 81.4 to be back in the overweight zone. Have that goal pencilled in for the end of May.

Tichter · 28/04/2026 18:43

SW 85kg March 26
CW 83.3kg end April
GW 68kg aim for end of year

TheWayTheLightFalls · 29/04/2026 06:04

Morning! WoW is 66.6kg / 10s 6 / BMI 21. Maintaining well despite ice cream consumption on the up this week.

mermadeincornwall · 29/04/2026 07:20

11st 2lb
Again
I got stuck at 11st 6lb so hopefully this is just taking a bit of time.

Happy WOW everyone

Just under 1kg off this week, total loss 4.5kg - going to treat myself with a Costa 😂

SW: 106.1
CW: 101.6

FridayNighFeeling · 29/04/2026 08:32
Hmm

Anyhoo... -27lbs/12.3kg Grin

Keeping going ladies, off for a little walk after my breakfast. Sore from Monday's class, but should be better by tomorrow in time for the next one FML!

LemonDrizzle23 · 29/04/2026 09:18

Morning WOWers! Well done to everyone weighing in 💪🏻

Couple of weeks of consistency has got things moving again and I’ve had a 2lb loss this week which is motivating.

SW: 15 st 8
CW: 13 st 11

Holiday in 8 weeks, so need to keep going!

SeekingHappinesss · 29/04/2026 09:40

Theres some impressive numbers on here. It makes me quite sad that I didn't start sooner!

I started on Tuesday last week and I'm 6lb down. I weighed the same today as I did on Sunday. Hopefully i can keep the scales moving for week 2!

I'm going to start C25K. Although I'm so unfit I will probably do a few weeks of walking first. Is anyone else running?

SW 170lbs
CW 164lbs
GW135lbs

FridayNighFeeling · 29/04/2026 11:47

That's still amazing @SeekingHappinesss I don't run no, but I do walk as much as I can now and it helps for sure.

CinnamonSweet73 · 29/04/2026 11:55

Morning all and well done to all the WOWers!!

Had a bit of a whoosh this morning, down to 77.2kg from 79kg this day last week, though I think it's mainly water retention resolving following a period (I'm peri so they are very random and unpredictable) so not sure it'll stick, but I'll take it for today!

Aiming to have a good week this week and stick to cals and movement, I'll be out for a meal at weekend but will try not to stray too much into excess!

Good luck all for the week ahead!

Emmadaily · 29/04/2026 15:11

moondip · 29/04/2026 17:50

Well done everyone!
I will weigh tomorrow morning instead this week if I remember 🙏

Fellsbells · 29/04/2026 22:10

Well done everyone for showing up for wow. I forgot. Not sure I can face weighing in the morning after too much flat bread at dinner.

Positives for today include a 30min work out and a lovely evening walk in the sunshine.

@SeekingHappinesss good luck with c25k. I did it last year and can now enjoy doing a 10km. I try and run 3 times a week.

I can’t believe we’re at the end of the month already. April has been my worst month for a long time weight wise. Tracking has gone out the window. I’ve found it difficult to restrict calories without feeling exhausted.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 29/04/2026 22:28

I didn’t weigh in today, I tend to do Mondays and maybe Fridays! But well done everyone with losses this morning

I had a bit of a crappy day, I’m just so tired, my brain is tired from constantly learning and overthinking/second guessing my every decision. I just could not stop eating today, I tried very hard not to eat the wrong things but I did eat a lot, and stupid things like dh had cooked some sausages last night which I ate a few of during the day and then realised they were 165 calories EACH! 🙀

anyway lesson learned. I have prepped for tomorrow and I need to drink more water early in the day I think to see me through the afternoon.

TealSloth · 30/04/2026 06:52

Morning this month has been hard to loose any pounds. Am hoping may month will be more successful in loosing few pounds. My aim is stay positive and not let anything push me down.

TheRealHousewife · 30/04/2026 10:55

I blinked and missed April 🙃. Apologies for my absence; the month passed by so quickly! I’m feeling a little bit more human and absolutely doing my best to move more and eat well.

Last weigh-in for this month and I’m barely down at all from the start after spending the whole month hovering around the same weight give or take one or two lbs. Oh well. I really wanted to get to my next goal weight by the end of July, but that doesn’t look likely unless I really get back on track again in May… 🙏

SW: 102.1kg
CW: 89.9kg
GW: 80kg

See you on the next thread guys!

Frustratingly It gets tougher the less you have to lose @moondip . I’ve been more or less the same weight for over 12 months. The last half stone won’t budge! That said you’ve done marvellously well to date 👏👏👏

That is so very kind of you to say @moondip … but you put in all the hard work and I hope you feel justifiable proud ❤️
