Following on from ⭐️LOSE IT! March 2026. Reset for Radiance⭐️

How was March’s Reset for Radiance for you? Not so radiant here what with an injured shoulder and a stinking virus to contend with 😅 Fingers crossed that April brings more than showers for us all!❤️

To reach optimum health and vitality (as well as a trim body) we need to focus not only on our food intake; but movement, our mental health and sleep quality too!

Who doesn’t want to feel good and energetic as well looking great!
Get on board to reset & refresh and become a healthier version of yourself.

These threads are for those who’d like to lose weight and those who wish to maintain whilst eating a healthy varied diet.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We have a WOW (weigh on Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable) that’s based on several sensible principles including:-

  1. Eat a variety of real whole foods such as fresh vegetables, salad, berries, beans, nuts, eggs, lean meat, good fats etc.

  2. Reduce sugars, simple carbs, alcohol and UPFs.

  3. Plan your meals & log your intake. Also be mindful of portion control.

  4. Intermittent fasting - research suggests (Zoe study) that adhering to an eating window of 10 hours can have a positive effect on health, wellbeing and weight loss. I personally have a eating window of approximately 7hrs - 12:00 - 19:00.

  5. Stay hydrated! 💧

  6. Move as much as able. Particularly strength based exercise. Muscle keeps you strong as well as revs up your metabolism.

  7. Get the fibre in! Great for your gut biome as well as 💩

  8. SLEEP! Good sleep hygiene and a regularly sleep routine can be beneficial to weight loss. I’m always more hungry following poor sleep.

  9. Be mindful about your own mental wellbeing and try not to eat your feelings. We’ve all been there!

  10. Be kind to yourself! ❤️ One or two slip ups won’t undo all your previous efforts. Just check-in with yourself, reinforce your good intentions and carry on.

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and eat twice a day. Im a long time healthy eater and overall I’ve lost over 3 stone.

After having been on the wrong side of 12st Im now hovering around 9st 3lbs.

Are you in?😊 What food plan will you be following? What do you want to change and why?

Any recipes/workouts that have worked for you, you’d like to share?

finally came on today, my cycles are so inconsistent, a few months ago I had a 12 day, a 17, a 12, then the last two have been 33 and 36 days! It’s almost immediate relief as well when it starts, like the hormone levels just shift. I have had a good but busy day, went to the top twice, walked the dog 8k and ran 11.5km and my food has been good and high protein. Just sat down with a Sprite Zero mint, it’s such a nice drink, very refreshing and feels a bit more grown up than just pop

stealthninjamum · 19/04/2026 10:28

I’m back. I haven’t been around since the end of the last thread. Ive been weighing myself every couple of days and having reached the amazing weight of 181lbs (ie 12 stone 13) in February my weight has since between 182 to 184. I’d hoped by now to be well into the 12s but I’m still down a stone on where I was a year ago and my clothes from last year are loose on me so every day I get a little bit of joy when I get dressed and it’s either a new item of clothing or one that’s too big.

i am now 182.9 lbs which I’m ok with. Today’s food will be a very late breakfast with lots of nuts and seeds. Snacks will be a banana and already hard boiled egg (I am still hard boiling 2 or 3 at a time to have as a snack) and probably home made soup with home seedy bread and I’ll be adding yogurt and kefir to get my fermented goods.

its been a nightmare with dd1 off school and cooking extra meals. Plus I ate lots of shit for Easter. Dc were bought things like marshmallows which I ended up eating as well as lots of chocolate. I think that’s all gone now.

Anyway now to catch up with the thread.

LemonDrizzle23 · 19/04/2026 20:55

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend! We’ve had a good one here, but it’s been a bit lazy.

Have been pretty good calorie-wise, but weight is bouncing around all over the place. Hopefully routine will kick in soon.

FridayNighFeeling · 19/04/2026 21:10

A good one here, thanks @LemonDrizzle23 Ready to face the scales again tomorrow and see what this week brings.

CinnamonSweet73 · 19/04/2026 22:56

A good weekend thanks! Not a complete angel food wise but not bad.
Breakfast and lunch prepped for day at the office and hopefully a good week ahead. Bedtime now!
Best of luck all this week!

thenewaveragebear1983 · 20/04/2026 06:44

I can’t even remember the last time I officially weighed in but today I am 11.4 which is up 2 from 6th April and up 5 from pre-Easter 🤦‍♀️

back on it today (as always 🙄) - I’m going to do a couple of days of fast800 properly and then aim for 1500 cals and low carbs as my goal. I have 5 weeks ish until we go away so I could actually see a decent loss in that time if I get my head in gear.

TheWayTheLightFalls · 20/04/2026 08:26

Morning. Signing in for OMAD in the sunshine!

biscuitcat · 20/04/2026 09:52

Argh all was going so well then DH declared he was after dessert the other day and I joined him on far too much ice cream, I also made tiramisu yesterday so we have that in - very delicious but not very diet friendly!

I'm tracking less strictly at the moment and I know very well it doesn’t work for me, I need to find some way to get my head back in the game.

@socks1107 you’re doing so well, what an inspiration 💜 I think our goal weights are pretty similar, and you’re just over a stone ahead of me so hopefully I’ll get to my goal just a few months after you.

Today’s menu:

B - Greek yoghurt with strawberries
L - leftover quiche
D - falafel with flatbread, tzatziki/hummus, and salad

TheGirlWhoLived · 20/04/2026 18:12

That’s why I love these threads. I get so much motivation to carry on!! Went and got a haircut today and treated myself to getting my nails done too. Feel nice and polished, going to get it coloured tomorrow and then out for dinner at the harvester, should be easy to pick something healthy!

B- Iced coffee with skim milk
L - Popeyes chicken wrap and chips
D - Green goddess salad with souvlaki

FridayNighFeeling · 20/04/2026 20:46

Well I'm where I was when the school broke up for Christmas ffs although it's mostly been treading water since, but I'd like to think that I'm doing positive things for my body/health even if it doesn't include losing weight at the moment.

5 mile walk today and gym class. Walking same again tomorrow... check in with you all again tomorrow

LemonDrizzle23 · 20/04/2026 21:57

I hear you @FridayNighFeelingIm not yet back to my November low 🙄 Have also been sorting some other health stuff out. But that feels less satisfying somehow!

Day in town today and I’m collapsing into bed on 17,000 steps. Going to feel that tomorrow!

FridayNighFeeling · 21/04/2026 18:29

Very frustrating @LemonDrizzle23

0.2kg down this morning. 7 miles walked, food sensible and kitchen now closed.

Good luck for WoW everyone taking part

CinnamonSweet73 · 22/04/2026 06:56

79kg today so half a kg down. Happy enough with that.
I've had a good week mainly, got to all my gym sessions and on track with calories, so just trying to keep it up.
Good luck all WOWing!

socks1107 · 22/04/2026 08:11

Good luck today everyone! Ill weigh tmrw as it’s a wfh day and will report in then

moondip · 22/04/2026 09:06

Morning all ☀️
I am back to 89.55kg this morning - up 0.15kg from last week and exactly where I was at the start of the month. I am going to have to start pushing myself a bit more and staying consistent with that if I really wanna make a dent in the 80s!

SW: 102.1kg
CW: 89.55kg
GW: 80kg

Good luck other WoWers & have a fab week everyone! 💜

ChunkyMonkey36 · 22/04/2026 09:29

Morning, 0.5kg off this week but the back end of last week was a real struggle in terms of tired hunger, and I did have a family meal on Saturday.

Also aware it could well just be slowing down after higher losses early on.

SW: 106.14kg
CW: 102.52kg
GW: 92kg (initially!)

LemonDrizzle23 · 22/04/2026 09:36

Well done WOWers! 13 st 13 here today. I’m still only really maintaining throughout April after 2.5 weeks of Easter hols I think. Need to get back to regular use of Happy Scale and a bit of consistency I think!

It’s officially 9 weeks til we go on holiday, so I’m hoping that will give me some motivation 😬

stealthninjamum · 22/04/2026 10:28

Well done weighers. I am 183.4 lbs

Id like to be about 12 stone 7 (about 175) by July, but this is very ambitious as I haven’t lost since about February.

i listened to the Ruth Mac Fit podcast last night on doing a reset and what she said resonated with me. Focusing on the journey rather than the result, having optimum aims but also minimum aims. I feel like I subconsciously do a lot of this anyway.

last night I made a large batch of lentil soup with about a dozen plants and spices. I had some lentils that needed to be soaked for 12 hours first and then boiled for 40 mins. They’ve been in the cupboard for ages so I left them on the window ledge by the sink looking at them every day and finally used them on a day when I knew that I could make soup for the following 3 or 4 days. It’s nice to remove that decision about meal times for me - although of course I still have picky autistic children so I need to swerve the food that I give them. The other night dd2 didn’t eat some southern fried chicken so I ate it. I need to be better at throwing away uneaten food.

CinnamonSweet73 · 22/04/2026 11:18

I have that podcast in my episodes to listen to @stealthninjamum might listen today on my walk. I love a good inspiring podcast!

TheGirlWhoLived · 22/04/2026 12:27

That podcast sounds great, I’m reading a book about micro habits for weight loss which is really interesting. I also feel like focusing on progress rather than perfection works for me, as I have a very much ‘sod it, I’ll eat the house’ as soon as I mess up!

My very first (of hopefully many) WoW
SW - 16st 7
CW - 15st 4
Loss - 2lb this week

Happy with that as a reflection of the week as a whole. Need to knuckle down for this week as I’m off to chessington for a couple of days next Thursday and that could be a gain!

TheGirlWhoLived · 22/04/2026 12:28

Ah no, forgot my
GW - 10st 7

FridayNighFeeling · 22/04/2026 13:08

Well done WoWers. Some great results and inspo

I'm down another .2kg from yesterday which puts me at -25 3/4lbs Hmm been here before. Really hoping my body plays ball so I can get to the 2 stone loss, but I am also trying to focus on the process. I'm much fitter and stronger than at the start, the pain I was living with has pretty much gone (thanks osteo and lots of £££) and I'm eating better/looking after myself better so those count for a lot too. Might see if I can figure out how to work out body fat function on my scale - that's sure to be a scary number!

Pasta4Dinner · 22/04/2026 14:39

I started dropping my calories a week ago and now I am back down to my lowest weight I’ve managed to reach (80.4kg). I’ve been around 81-82kg for months. So fingers crossed I drop into the 70s soon.
Not a gym day but have been for a big walk, I’m shattered. Sometimes I do a class on a Wednesday night but I am far too tired now.

biscuitcat · 22/04/2026 21:42

Up 0.5lbs this week for me 🙄 self inflicted it has to be said, can’t blame periods or anything sadly! My rate of loss is struggling to hit half a pound a week at the moment, which after months of speedy losses last year is a bugger, but still overall down and I’m still 12lbs down so far this year which is good.

My non scale victory is that I’m on a bit of a Vinted spree at the moment for a summer wardrobe as nothing I have fits (nice problem to have really!) and a Zara dress I bought in size medium (medium!! From Zara!!) fits beautifully.

mermadeincornwall · 23/04/2026 07:33

I forgot to post yesterday
11st 2lbs
Stayed the same
However I lb lighter today
