⭐️OPEN TO ALL⭐️

Clocks have now gone back and the nights are drawing in, Halloween is done and dusted and Bonfire Night is in a few days 😮. Meaning one thing! Christmas and all its festivities are arriving next month 😮🎄🥳

It’s never too late to make a change, to make a difference and feel confident in your body. To reach optimum health and vitality we need to focus not only on our food intake; but movement, mental health and sleep quality too!

Who doesn’t want to feel good and energetic as well looking great! Get on board to reset & refresh and become a healthier version of yourself.

These threads are for those who’d like to lose weight and those who wish to maintain whilst eating a healthy varied diet.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We generally have WOW (weigh on Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable).

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and generally eat twice a day. Im a long time healthy eater and overall I’ve lost around 45lbs.

I’m mainly maintaining but I would like to get back into the 8’s 🤞(I briefly dipped into the 8’s last month but the scale showed 9st 4lb yesterday)

Morning all.
So I weighed myself this morning and Im 3lb down. Im pleased with that as my DH went shopping on Saturday while I waited for the running pad, and he came home with a black forest slice from the Cake Box. It was delicious and I had to eat it as I didn't want to appear rude.
Well the pad came but!!!!!, In not allowed to use it until Christmas, so he has put it unopened in the spare room. I think I married the Grinch.

WoW is 73.2kg here - staying the same. My weight is very sticky at the moment, no idea why. Will keep my head down and carry on.

I.weigh in on Saturday morning at Slimming world .
I'm doing ok this week I'm.just under target tho another pound off for Christmas festivities would be good.
1st Christmas Dinner out 1st of December a couple more dates in December to be confirmed
Definitely a breakfast out at a local farm Friday before Christmas day when pick up the cheese board .
So it's all happening before the actual event so best try for the buffer .

Morning WOWers! Well done to everyone getting on the scales. What gets measured gets improved 💪🏻

Good week here - 1.4lbs off. I have really stayed on top of my calorie counting throughout November, and I can see it has made a difference. I’m definitely “in” the 13s now.

SW: 15 st 8
CW: 13 st 9.8
15% off: 13 st 4

Not sure I’ll quite see 2 stone off before the end of Nov, but determined to be there before the Christmas food starts!

Morning All,
I haven't been on as much because I've been trying out something new. Every time I felt the urge to sit and doom scroll, I went for a walk around the block haha. I've managed to get 10,000 steps most days that way! Woo.

Weight is still going down. I'm really hoping to be at goal by my Christmassy holiday! We leave on the 19th December...so about a month left! I definitely think the not drinking is helping. It's been 45 days now. Gosh, that has gone quick!!

Almost a whole stone!! Omg.

Great idea @Marshmellowbunny I'm always looking to improve the steps.

I'm 79kg today so pretty much stayed the same as this day last week which is fine as I was away for the weekend eating out etc. I've had 2 good days now so hoping to keep that up and be down next week

Anyone had any snow this morning? There's a little bit on the hills around us but my DD is very disappointed that there isn't any on our street

Morning WOWers! Well done to everyone whatever the scale says, staying accountable and keeping going is what success is made of.

No snow here as we’re down south but it’s freezing and rainy and generally horrid.

2lbs down this week for me, which is lovely. I’d love to have a couple of weeks of big losses like that to give me a buffer for some Christmas indulgence!

Only 1lb away from 2.5 stone down! Definitely hoping to be in the 12s for Christmas and 3 stone down sometime in January.

I take back my no snow down south statement! It’s coming down heavily now, some even settling on the grass - I’ve just had a coffee (in silence while the baby naps) looking out over the garden and I’m feeling very content with life.

Just a half pound loss for me this week but I’m actually pleased with this as I had not been eating well for a while and although my meals have been so much better I’m still snacking a bit too much. I have found that this happens when I get back into healthy eating and I’ll gradually cut out the snacks so it’s working for me at the minute.

Well done everyone on your losses! I'm only down a scrap on last week, but at least it's heading in the right direction. Not as much as I would have liked, probably due to hosting cheese and wine party book club at mine this week.

We had lots of snow for about half an hour, but nothing that would settle...

21lbs down and will see what I can achieve before the big day. In a lot of pain today so not very active. Off to my magician osteopath soon for some relief!

Been so busy lately I’ve not been commenting but massive well done to everyone who is losing, keep going guys we can do it!! Feeling very positive today because I weighed myself and haven’t for about ten days - and finally I’ve moved on from the scales sticking at around 9st 10 and saw 9st 7 today yay! Feeling very happy indeed that I’ve got through some treat heavy weeks by managing my overall calories and sticking to that approach and it’s paid off! Now just need to keep going strong the rest of the month and then throughout December - it’s going to be hard to manage all the Baileys and mince pies but I’m going to really try 😂😂👍🏻👍🏻💜💜

Another good day today. I have eaten:

B: scrambled eggs, beans and 1 slice toast followed by strawberries
L: chicken salad baguette (I have finished the baguettes today so will have to think of something different tomorrow!)
D: chilli sea bass, sliced potatoes and veg
S: 2 squares dark chocolate and grapes. Alcohol free g&t
Calories: 1175. Protein: 112.4g
