Hi all

I just thought I'd start this thread and add to it everyday as I think I struggle to figure out what to have for meals when losing weight - just thought it might help someone.

(At the moment I'm tending to have like 2 meals a day but sometimes 3 - there's no rules haha)

Breakfast

Cornflakes and semi skimmed milk with a cup of tea - 390 calories.

Half a protein bar - 70 calories.

Burger bowl - 447 calories - this was absolutely amazing, genuinely like a Big Mac haha and here's the recipe for anyone else who fancies it.. I changed it slightly.

125g - Mince beef - 155 kcal
110g - Baking potatoes - 118 kcal
17g - Cheese - 46 Kcal
20g - Ketchup - 21 kcal
20g - Mayo - 67 kcal
10g - Mustard - 9 kcal
Total 422 Kcals

Total around 907 calories which is way too low, I have about 600 left but I don't feel too good today, might have a snack later.

Please feel free to share your foods and recipes!

Easter hols have been a huge step back - time to get back in the plan!

Cuwins · 21/04/2025 12:06

Have also had a rubbish couple of weeks here so trying again today. However I did manage to eat 2 hot cross buns for breakfast! So a low calorie lunch is needed- 3 Kallo veggie cakes with soft cheese, not tried them before- they are nice. I am
adding a bag of mini cheddars and some melon.

@Cuwins they sound nice, I love a sesame ryvita with soft cheese and cucumber, gives me the crunch I need.

Not been great here but not been massively bad, helped that I have worked every evening over Easter so not sat thinking about food!

Weirdly the week of over (normal-) eating on holiday has made zero impact on the scales when I weighed in this AM. I ate at least 3 restaurant desserts too. Wtf?!

GildedRage · 24/04/2025 22:41

i have house guests for the week and my usually well controlled meal planning is O U T the window :(. i'll be deficit planning in 5 more days.
