Cannot look at myself naked. Mirror broke and cannot see toes any more.
Have started eating dust in between meals, should I replace one meal a day with dust?
C'mon Marjorie, please help out here.

gingerbear · 02/01/2005 16:57

Have just finished off last of the Quality Street, and had last shot of Bailey's last night.
Have dusted off Low Fat cookbook.
Breakfast = porridge made with skimmed milk, apple and satsuma mid morning
Lunch = wholemeal pitta with faita mix (lots of veg, small amount of chicken, topped with salad and yoghurt)

dinner will be fish and vegetables (no carbs)
Had one glass of wine at lunchtime, but will have no more booze today.

gingerbear · 02/01/2005 17:00

Have been miserable about weight for ages. Joined Cod's group in May last year but fell off bandwagon after a month.

I need to lose 3 stones. I would like to get at least half way there before I go on holiday to Florida in May.

motherinferior · 02/01/2005 17:02

Erk. So far my resolution has held as to no booze but fallen down rather drastically on - ahem - chocolate (and I don't even eat masses of the stuff usually). When Normal Life resumes, ie Tuesday, I shall attempt to restrict food intake and re-start cycling to the pool again a couple of times a week minimum (takes up a good chunk of time, though).

But I'm not cutting out carbs. I only want to get back down to 8 and three-quarter stone from nine anyway. Am five feet tall.

motherinferior · 02/01/2005 17:03

Suppose I should buy a new weighing machine too, ours has a totally knackered window thingy you have to adjust and dd2 keeps removing entirely

iota · 03/01/2005 09:40

Depressingly, I weighed myself this morning and am a heifer - 11st 10lb - no wonder I'm bursting out of my jeans

PuffTheMagicDragon · 03/01/2005 09:50

I am by far the most overweight person on this thread! I have admitted how much I weigh/weighed on other threads, so don't need to again on here . In my defence I've lost about 3 stone so far. I reckon I've put on about 5/6 lbs over Xmas though . Tomorrow I will find out!

dietingdottee · 03/01/2005 10:39

Fio - I'm size 18 - we're in this together hon!

Cod - been goodish today - only half a handful of left over doritos and a coffee (with sweetener in) but left the Roses alone.

Have walked dog and done tidying up to 70's music!

I am a heifer too. But not starting til Weds when ds goes back to school and all the chocolate in the house is gone.

bonniej · 03/01/2005 12:09

has anyone worked out their body mass index number. I'm 10st9lb and 5'4" so overweight imo. I want to get down to 9st7lb. My BMI is 25 which says I'm the ideal weight for my height. Made me feel a bit better. If you put BMI in the search engine you will find a calculator that will help. (can't do links).

motherinferior · 03/01/2005 12:18

I regret to say my eating remains untouched, but I'm all too aware that my booze intake constituted rather a lot of calories

Im coming back to join too - starting at WW again on Wednesday - have you heard its all changing???

Enid · 03/01/2005 12:53

Right I have bought 'French Women Don't Get Fat' and am now totally motivated.

Have lost a pound and am determined to lose 7 by the end of Jan.

Key for me is no snacking - or if I have to will have plain natural yog or a piece of fruit. AND SMALLER PORTION SIZES that is really the key as I eat LOADS.

and no booze starting from tonight - that is going to be HELL
