CountessDingDongDrac · 01/01/2005 17:14

But I'm fat

CountessDingDongDrac · 01/01/2005 17:19

I could just be on diet for first 2 weeks of each month, then eat normally for 2 weeks. TBH my diets are pretty healthy food so I should be fine I think

AuntyQuated · 01/01/2005 17:20

me -
was 9st 12 lb before christmas but frightened to get on scales.
(had lsot a stone between sept and dec tho')

AuntyQuated · 01/01/2005 17:21

but what about all the christams choccies hanging around - do we ahev to bin em or gobble em before we start???

turquoise · 01/01/2005 17:34

Pmsl at no fudge if ttc.
Can I join?
Don't care about weight, just want to get back into my good jeans by the time I come back to the UK for a visit in 2 weeks time, and not have everyone say "Hasn't she let herself go" (because I have).
So no wine or chocolate or snacks for 2 weeks, and some exercise. Even I should manage that? (doubtful emoticon)
Any good exercises for the tops of thighs? I've been doing 50 plies a day recently to no discernable effect.

motherinferior · 01/01/2005 17:56

I think I've got to have a month of no booze, get back into exercise and - oh hell - a food diary, et sodding cetera.

Enid · 01/01/2005 18:11

what can I take to work for lunch if no bread allowed?

Like this idea though, cheaper than WW.

codswallop · 01/01/2005 18:26

salad and bits i it
or crackers and phliladalephia with a smidege of mago chutney
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Enid, I was taking some smoked salmon in a pot with lemon juice and black pepper and then having 2 apples, a few nuts and a sesame snap as lunch. Yep, am going to also do no booze in the week, only on Fri and Sats, walking every day and no bread.

Furball · 01/01/2005 18:38

I'll join in too if thats alright? I've got 7 lbs to loose to get me back where I was at the beginning of December Would like to loose at least another 7-10 after that. God, I've been here sooo many times.

Enid · 01/01/2005 19:09

Just weighed myself: 11 stone 4, thats the heaviest I have been except for immediately after I had the girls . Would feel happy at 10 10. (I am 5' 8")

Enid · 01/01/2005 19:10

what about pitta bread, does that count? low fat hummus, a pickled chili, grated carrot and raw spinach, surely that can't be that fattening. Still bread though

codswallop · 01/01/2005 19:32

I am 5 7 inches
170 cm roughly

OP posts:
Enid · 01/01/2005 19:52

Actually I was 10 6 this time last year .

I think you are too thin at 5'7" and 9 stone 10

Enid · 01/01/2005 19:53

I am greedy. I love food, cakes and wine. And I cook a lot, and since I have my job my life is much more sedentary. They are my excuses, make of them what you will.
