Well, I have no idea how I've not eaten 15 tonnes of chocolate and crisps today, let alone any bread. I have more will power than I thought possible. I have had a horrible day.

Kids have been driving me to distraction, DH not a great deal better, I've got PMT, 2 coldsores(sp? that looks wierd) one of which is on the corner of my EYE!!!! and I'm knackered.

But I've not been bad, equally not been very good but no rubbish has passed my lips for another day. Quite frankly I'm chuffed with myself.

Breakfast was cheerios with S.S milk, 1 cup of tea.

Mid morning- grapes

Lunch- Carvery lean ham omlette. 2 slices of fruit malt loaf with a smidge of flora light.

Bit of a blow out mid-afternoon-Muller light yog, apple and raisin things. Nothing to bad though I suppose.

Dinner-Jacket spud(Sorry i know no spud allowed)with beans(low sugar/salt) and coleslaw.
1 raspbarry yoghurt.

1 glass of diet coke. Some (but not much) water. Orange squash.

My only confession is that I forgot my No bread rule and ate some of DS3 toast earlier. Proabaly about acrusts worth so nothing that going to ruin all my hard work.

Emma - well done, give yourself a big pat on the back then go and have a nice bath with a book - or anything you like doing which doesn't involve heinous amounts of cals! Link for the Lakeland roast-in bags is here

Well done emmatmg, that doesn't sound like a blow out to me! I've had toast, 2 small apples, a banana, a box of raisins, 3 snack a jacks (2 caramel, 1 marmite), a few slices of lean roast beef, a slice of smoked salmon, a sesame snap, some beefless bolognase (mainly veg) and, I'm very proud to say, NO pick and mix when I took ds to the cinema today. I had one chuppa chupp lolly instead. And I'm on DAY FIVE of no booze. Enid, I bought the French women don't get fat book and a book called FatLand about why Americans are so fat these days. Am hoping it will keep me in the right frame of mind!

GYM

30 minutes cardio, plus time in the pool playing with Mollie.

FOOD

I have saved up about 22 points over the past week from my food points, plus earnt some bonus points.
However, not counting points today as a bit too complicated at the moment! Had parents and brother round for dinner this eening, so indulged

Milk allowance (half pint of skimmed milk)
Apple (for breakfast)
Scrambled eggs on toast, with no spread/butter (for lunch at Gym)
2 large glasses of red wine
Half baguette of french bread, with Flora light
Home made veggie casserole, made with:
onions, olive oil, potato, artichoke, butternut squash, carrot, mushroom, red wine, veg stock, herbs, garlic, lemon juice, tomato puree
Actually not TOO bad points wise I don't think (well if you don't count all the bread )

Hulababy · 09/01/2005 21:39

BearessLite : a little pasta with tonnes of roasted veggies?

I have that quite often as very low in points (therefore fat, etc.) especially if you roast the veggies in the spray oils. I think sprinkle with a tea spoon of parmesan. Mmmm - yummy

Have been avoiding this thread as v v bad this weekend, had a chocolate mousse cake feeding frenzy last night and have gone back up to 9:10 . BUT held firm and resisted champagne AND the best margaritas in Manhattan so don't hate myself quite as much as I would have otherwise.

Blossomhill - I always lose off my boobs first too which is the only place I could do with a bit of blubber.

tentunturq · 10/01/2005 03:53

I'm sitting looking at my thighs wishing I'd had the margaritas now
