I can't quite give up the bread, but when on a diet I will only buy the WW bread - 0.5 points a slice. It doesn't taste half as nice, but I find it is better than nothing!

littlemissbossy · 07/01/2005 09:26

Hulababy and coddy well done on your weight loss so far
I am going to weigh myself at parents house later (don't own any scales!)

Hulababy · 07/01/2005 09:26

Well done Cod!

I have a lovely bottle of white in the fridge chilling, ready for tonight.

BearessLite · 07/01/2005 09:33

10 stone 1 oz. Yessssssss! Lots of air punching going on chez BearessLite. Wouldn't have lost anything without this group that's for sure.

BearessLite · 07/01/2005 09:35

and well done everyone else, got a bit carried away there, sorry

emmaGotToTryHarder · 07/01/2005 09:45

No bread for brekky either today.

Sorry Cod, I had those weetabix thingys again, I know they are not ideal but I figure that have got to be better than the white fluffy bread with tonnes of butter. I really do......I mean, I did put an awful lot of butter on to. 1 slice would have enough to butter 2, possibly 3, slices. Pools of melted butter that would drip or trickle.

Really bad.

Even after one day bread free I do feel less bloated.

Scales have gone back down to 9st 5lb too.

We may have a man joining us too. My Dh has got a bit lardy and wants/needs to loose some. He'd never do WW or any club so I told him about this. I will harrass him to post him daily grub.

emmaGotToTryHarder · 07/01/2005 09:47

weetabix things in place of booze....how does that sound?

I don't drink (apart from my pi$$ed evening here on NYE).

A fair swap?

flatmouse · 07/01/2005 09:47

getting slightly depressed seeing all these 10st and 9st weights. Am i the bloatiest here?

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 07/01/2005 10:31

11 3! so thats 3lb. Have AF as of today so do you think I'll lose a bit more after?

Wine night! And we're getting a DVD and feeling as skittish as teenagers.

Had a curry last night but a tiny portion (homemade too so lots of spinach, chickpeas etc in there).

Croissant this morning bad Enid. dd2 left it and I didnt have time for a bowl of cereal...

Fruit, tea and water until 2.30 when home to have tiny bowl of curry from last night.

Steak and salad tonight - and half a bottle of very good red

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 07/01/2005 10:32

oh and feel amazingly unbloated especially as have AF - must be lack of bread, wow.

Furball · 07/01/2005 11:35

I'm gonna weigh Monday.

Yesterday -

2 oz porridge

2 x WW bread with WW pate

Homemade chicken supreme made with mushrooms and skimmed milk, small jacket potato and loads of veg. Followed by a WW flapjack.

I used to do WW so have alot of their stuff 'lying' around!

It all went a bit nasty in the evening though, went out with friends and it appears I ate my bodyweight in Prinkgles. Oh gosh.

crunchie · 07/01/2005 12:00

On to the 4th Day. Really good so far, even when I lapsed a bit last night. I had 1/2 small bag of mini chedders (SW about 3 syns), one small slice of cheese and a jkt potato smearered with philidelphia light.

However when I look at my SW book it was ALL allowable, so I am not feeling guilty.

Kittypickle · 07/01/2005 12:14

I am the bloatiest here Flatmouse if that makes you feel any better.

I'm not weighing now until next Thursday but I'm pretty sure it's just starting to come off. I've managed to ditch bread which is nothing short of a miracle and my halo can be seen shining out across whichever sea it is off the Dorset coast.

Well done everyone on the losses.

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 07/01/2005 12:17

All you non bread eaters, I just had half a med avocado (200 cals) and 50g smoked salmon (80cal) with lemon juice and black pepper on it for lunch and it was lovely. Have also had one slice wholemeal toast with marmite, an apple and a slice of proscuitto (32 cals). Enid, what did dh bring in the end?

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 07/01/2005 12:17

That's all day so far my food, not all just for lunch.

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 07/01/2005 12:20

he didn't! Rang up to say he'd been delayed at meeting so I defrosted a lamb/chickpea curry I had made a couple of weeks ago. It was deelish, I chucked a big bag of spinach in and had a tiny amount with two spoons of rice and a dollop of dahl - scrum.

But I did eat 3 oven chips and half a sausage at tea time too.

lowcalCOD · 07/01/2005 13:41

did you like our joshing enid?

BigFatHeiferEnid · 07/01/2005 13:48

missed it

pmsl

lowcalCOD · 07/01/2005 14:03

did he go to stilton?

crunchie · 07/01/2005 15:58

Help help I am at work, really tired (a bit bored even though I have loads to do) and I could just fancy a nibble!! There's an open packet of oat cakes on my desk (had 3 so far) I've already drunk more than 2 lt of water today.

Help before I raid the biccie tin..........

tentunturq · 07/01/2005 16:06

My dp brought home sachets of Godiva drinking chocolate last night damn him. Obviously I had to try one - about a billion calories and didn't taste vastly different to out of a vending machine

emmaGotToTryHarder · 07/01/2005 16:23

Still no bread for me but I'm really hungry.

BearessLite · 07/01/2005 17:45

That's it, I've had a pants day, I'm getting the bottle opener out...

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 07/01/2005 18:05

I've eaten a pack of prawns and half a pack of cherry tomatoes and 4 rice cakes. Am up to about 800 cals today and have done a 2 mile walk (see how it's getting less every day as my enthusiasm wanes?) and I WANT A GLASS OF WINE! But won't since this is only day 3 for me and it's pathetic.

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 07/01/2005 18:14

croissant
apple
apricot
banana
small bowl lentil dahl/lamb curry
bite dd1s toffee apple

feel vaguely sick and amazingly not looking forward to wine tonight
