I have now done 4 days of the GI diet without one cheat! THis is a first for me

Hulababy · 07/01/2005 18:17

Today's food for me (no gym today though):
Milk allowance = 1
Apple = 0.5
Salad, olives & sun-dried tomatoes = 1
Pasta, large portion = 3
Peppers, onion, courgette, mushroom = 0
Olive oil = 1
Parmesan = 1.5
WW Lemon Meringnue dessert = 2.5
Red wine, half bottle = 3.5

Total = 14

Not had dinner or wine yt, but both are ready and waiting, just about!

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 07/01/2005 18:25

Hula, that sounds like loads! Hmm, might have to consider ww. We are having yummy organic rare roast beef tonight. I will weigh mine before I eat it, as only have 700 cals left for tonight. Really looking forward to it.

lowcalCOD · 07/01/2005 19:04

lowcalCOD · 07/01/2005 19:04

Hulababy · 07/01/2005 19:07

My DH is on the WW diet too, as is my BIL and SIL I am keeping them on their toes

WWW - I can keep my points low as I don't eat meat. Red meat in particularly is quite high in points. I d eat fish, but most fish, especially white fish, is good points-wise too. I have a list of all the point values on my computer (in either Access, Excel, Works or Word form) I can send you if you fancy a look.

Hulababy · 07/01/2005 19:08

I have started on the wine

iota · 07/01/2005 19:09

I'm on the second bottle of wine tonight - am fed up (or not as the case may be) as I don't appear to have lost an ounce despite trying really hard this week

lowcalCOD · 07/01/2005 19:10

oi iota how is it going
bearesslite-w hat was yourname before?

chocfreeclary · 07/01/2005 19:11

well just a quick dip in girls before I run home from work!!! (but that's another thread...)
Not a great day bread-wise as I had sandwich for lunch, but did onyl have the same as DD and DS2. Resisted post-christmas choccie from giant tin, even when offered one by dear little DD ("do you want a sweetie too, mummy?")
No chocolate at all since Monday night!!!
Must have lost weight (still no scales despite sister urging me towards digital hi-tech jobs)
well done everyone else esp hula, you sound truly committed.

iota · 07/01/2005 19:11

well it's not going cod - that's the problem. You should try being middle aged - middle aged spread is a fact not a myth

lowcalCOD · 07/01/2005 19:12

how ancient are you
what have you eaten today
( oi everyone sort her out!)

lowcalCOD · 07/01/2005 19:12

clary
get the scales asap
they are really motivating when you lose

iota · 07/01/2005 19:13

as I've said before - I'm 46 and I was OK til I hit 35 and it's been downhill all the way since then

lowcalCOD · 07/01/2005 19:16

sorry

iota · 07/01/2005 19:18

Today I had museli for breakfast, lunch at a friends of a white bread ham sandwich with a scrape of butter and beef casserole tonight, with a rather nice bottle of Wolf Blass gold label

iota · 07/01/2005 19:19

iota · 07/01/2005 19:20

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 07/01/2005 19:20

hurrah wine day. I had a glass of wine with lunch today, is that ok? Have a lovely bottle of red that has been calling me all week.

lowcalCOD · 07/01/2005 19:20

Frizbe · 07/01/2005 19:24

iota · 07/01/2005 20:03

OK how many calories in 1 bottle of wine - I think I've blown it

iota · 07/01/2005 20:11

WEll if no one's gonna help me I'm lapsing now - byeeeeeeeeeeeeee

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 07/01/2005 20:18

Iota, are you exercising at all? Maybe it is all water? (she said hopefully!) Don't know what else to suggest. Cods, lol at 'fess up heifers'. Thanks Hula, may go the ww route if this doesn't work.

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 07/01/2005 20:19

Iota, 1 bottle of wine = fuck it, start again tomorrow!
