I need to lose a stone. I can’t be stout any more. I tend to do well with a bit of daily accountability so anyone up for a weight loss buddy to commiserate, support and obsess with?! Starting Monday obvs. 😬

I will join you, also looking to lose a stone, after having a baby 10 months ago. What is your starting weight op? I am currently 10st1 and want to go down to roughly 9 stone (I am short).

Do you have a plan in mind how you want to achieve it?

I'm hoping to drop weight for summer, my body confidence is low! I am still breastfeeding, so I can't do anything too drastic eek

I’m a big snacker in the evenings, mainly! If I could cut them out I wouldn’t do too bad as my meals are as balanced as possible. Always had a sweet tooth, my downfall is chocolate! Still got the kids Easter eggs here! Trying my best not to help myself too… kids aren’t that fussed!

Hey I'll join!

I'd joined another thread previously but failed miserably.

I have a 19 month old and work full time in the NHS so have made poor food and exercise related choices recently, I'm now the heaviest I've ever been.

I saw a photo of myself at Easter and was horrified- I've even set it as my phone's wallpaper to shock myself into being a bit healthier.

I joined slimming world on Wednesday as, love it or hate it it worked for me before, and I have 3 stone to lose in time for my brother's wedding in the autumn.

SW 13st 12.5lbs
GW 11st on the nose.

Can I join please? I keep saying I'm gong to do it and then never do as no accountability. 2 young children at home and my eating is out of control.

Starting weight 70kg
Goal weight 60kg

@Summerbreeze111 yes definitely, will weigh monday! I’m late 30s, but early meno runs in the family, I don’t seem to lose as much as I’d like even if I stick to it! Do sometimes wonder if this could be why! I get disheartened after a bit and give up!
How are you planning on losing the weight? does your little one sleep through yet? I always found the night feeds so hard when mine were babies, I’d always snack on biscuits just to get me through! 🙈

I weighed 10.5 before Easter… 😬😬 but I reckon I’m pushing 10.9 now which for me is a lard arse. Want to hit 9.5. I’m thinking calorie counting. What do you reckon?

I work from home, and the kids are at a school in the next village, so tad far to walk, so I need to make time to exercise each day! And obviously I’ll be cutting the sweet snacks down for sure!

I’m finding wfh a nightmare tbh. I use food as an excuse to take a break. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Im just gonna try and plan my snacks out and hope I’ve enough will power to stick it out! 😬

Well I've got a 6 month old so I'm going to try and start walking everyday and try to do a little workout each day when I have a spare 10 mins between nappy changes! Eating healthy and meal prepping. Snacking is my downfall!

I was going to try and walk to the library in some afternoons so I can surgically remove myself from the fridge. It will take some will power though 😬

This sounds perfect, can I join too?? I have put on some weight while in training for a Marathon. But it will be over tomorrow so the extra weight needs to shift!! I like 5:2 and that works for me so will be starting that next week. Aiming to lose about 1.5 stone by the summer.

Welcome! You run marathons!? Amazing! I’m also interested in fasting so may join you on some days. Maybe when the inevitable plateau happens!
