OK, my first attempt at a thread failed through my own fault, let's try again:

Limited duration because longer threads usually taper off. Ending the week beginning 24th of July, final weigh in/measurement Sunday the 30th (additional to the Thursday).

Weigh in or waist measurement Monday and Thursday. (I'm using waist measurement as I don't like weighing myself).

Using a recognised intermittent fasting schedule (e.g. 16/8, 5:2).

Optional exercise where possible, logged in the thread.

Starting tomorrow.

Is anyone up for slimming down in time for August?😀

Total loss to date 3.5kg

goal - loss of 5kg over 5 weeks
IF schedule 18:6 (weekdays) / 16:8 (weekends)

A fun weekend so I have a gain this morning but hoping weekday routine will bring it back on track by Thursday.

I know that, historically, a major part of my problem is that as soon as I know that I've gone off track I bury my head in the sand, avoid the scales and ultimately give up. All of us are going to have times where things go off track, so it is inspiring to see you accept the gain and get back on it. I am going to try and take a leaf out of your books x

It's really difficult because my baby is only 5 months old and although I've got 2 stone (ideally) to lose, I want ti enjoy her and my maternity leave. I think the weight will drop off when im back at work because this isn't a natural size for me to be but at the same time I don't want to keep thinking 'it will come off' when actually it isn't 😂. I've always been slim so this is hard but also know Im very fortunate to have a lovely bouncing baby! X

You are doing amazingly, I remember how hard it is being constantly shattered and out of routine! My "baby" is now 7, so I have no excuse 🤣 but a big part of my need to lose is to be healthy for my boys.

Hi all, just caught up on all the posts as I missed last week totally. Great to see most people still progressing 👏

I was on holiday Fri-Tue and then didn't bother weighing as I knew I'd been off plan. Tried to get back into it but had a disappointing weigh in this morning. I knew I hadn't been sticking to the timings as much as I should, and also been less careful about what I was eating in the eating window, but it's really hammered home by the scales that I do still have to keep on at this or I'm going to lose all my progress 😔

Anyway here's my latest weigh in
Height: 5 ft 7
Starting Weight: 76.5kg // 12st
Current Weight: 74.8kg// 11st 7lb (1kg/2lb gain from last weigh in)
IF schedule: aiming for 17/7, eating between 1-8pm and cutting portion size.
Size: 14
Target: 72.5kg // 11st 4lb by 30 July
Still to lose: 2kg in 1 week

So have gone from needing to lose 1kg in 2 weeks, to needing to lose 2kg in 1 week. Blergh. Might try to do a few extra long fasts this week before I leave for a work trip Wed-Sun. It's over to Asia so crossing time zones and being jet lagged, plus attending corporate events won't really help. If I can give myself a bit of a boost with some longer fasts maybe that will help to undo some of the potential gains!

Need to eat more mindfully and just not start on crisps as I definitely have the "once you pop, you can't stop" thing going in

Not measuring as such, but looking forward to having more of my wardrobe available to me.

IF 16:8 (eating window 11.30am-7.30pm)
No food restrictions other than having a smaller piece of cake (or whatever) and not automatically going back for more, eating less at mealtimes if I'm not completely hungry... in summary, being a bit more mindful.

Guess I'm going to have to do another big fast today to try and get down to 12'6 tomorrow.

@waistchallenge I know we are on number 2 now but I can’t finish on a Monday as I always have weekend gains; hopefully this goes to 0 next week! (Tho I still have 2 weeks before hols so will have to continue)

Weigh in 2…. another gain for me 😰 I have had a few glasses of wine outside of “eating hours” & struggled this week to find the time to do the 10k daily steps I’m aiming for.

Another 2lb off 😊 amazing what having less work stress and more time to exercise can do. Just need to keep the motivation throughout the 6 weeks holidays.

Oh god yeah, my weigh in 1 will be next Thursday if anyone else wants to join me! I ALWAYS gain on a Monday and go on holiday next Friday. Will miss this thread! I'm going to carry on fasting as still so much weight to lose so if anyone wants to carry on with me they're welcome xx
