It's only about 18 - 24 degrees in July/August, so we shouldn't need air conditioning. Also, I've spoken to the owner, and it picks up the sea breezes.

Glad you're feeling better JackieNo.

DH is away this weekend too - we can be deserted mothers together!

Blimey - must learn to have patience!

JackieNo · 25/02/2008 18:14

Sounds idyllic!

Shall we buy chocolate and eat that , or try to be virtuous and eat healthy stuff together, Littlefish?

Littlefish · 25/02/2008 18:31

Let's try and be really good JackieNo. I will eat:

Huge salad with spinach, rocket, watercress, avocado (fine on the WW core plan!), ham, low fat hummous.

Delicious.

What will you have?

JackieNo · 25/02/2008 19:43

Ooh, now you're asking.

Erm, probably something ready made from Waitrose. They do some nice salady things. Will have to tell you on the day, I think . I may also buy loads of nice ready prepared fruit (yummy pineapple etc), to snack on.

TigerFeet · 25/02/2008 21:25

He's working both days, he works one weekend in four, should only be until lunchtime though.

Might persuade him to grill me a 9core plan friendly) steak

My eating is getting worse - co-inciding with a particulaly busy phase at work. Lots of crap today and not much of any nutritional benefit.

Kewcumber · 26/02/2008 13:35

the calories don;t count if food is eaten in the car.

Littlefish · 26/02/2008 19:34

La la la

JackieNo · 28/02/2008 22:15

Anyone weighing? At all? I've stayed the same. But with DH away as of tomorrow, I'm going to have to fight hard not to put on weight next week.

Littlefish · 29/02/2008 08:12

Oh SH*T - I forgot to go to Weight Watchers. I knew there was something I had to do last night....

I suspect I stayed the same or put on the same pound I lost last week!

DH went away this morning JackieNo, so I'm with you in the battle.

Also, I've got to go to Sainsbury's today - it's so tempting just to buy lots of treats and ready to eat stuff isn't it!

Must buy salad
Must buy salad
Must buy salad
Must buy salad
Must.......

MrsJohnCusack · 29/02/2008 09:01

Despite not eating that much, and going running for the last 2 weeks, I have lost NOTHING
I am stalled
I cannot lose anything
I am REALLY REALLY PISSED OFF ABOUT IT

and my inlaws are here, and DD is being vile, and had to spend $229 on a new car battery and and and

TigerFeet · 29/02/2008 11:36

How much is $229 in English? [clueless]

I didn't go to WW either. Work is manic and I haven't been eating properly had time to go to WW

Suspecting a gain though.

littlemisssensible · 03/03/2008 09:59

Hi all,

Well back from EuroDisney with aching feet and empty wallet!!!

I finally dug out the scales this weekend (I packed them away while the builders were in!)and I think I'm starting again

Not only have I put the minimal loss since christmas back on but I weigh more than I did after Christmas! Why do I do this to myself? I know how to lose the weight and I know how to control it and keep it off, so why don't I? Its just flippin greed ! Why can't I just have a 'little of what I fancy' like other people? Why have I got to stuff the lot; even though I really don't get any pleasure out of more than the first few mouthfuls/biscuits/squares of chocolate?

OK! Sorry about that! Whinge over! I'll start again now! Someone kick me please!

JackieNo · 03/03/2008 12:35

Hi LMS. Sounds as if you got a bit of exercise walking around Eurodisney. I think we're all having a bit of a tough time atm. Have a kick from me. I need one too, though. Wasn't too bad yesterday, but did eat more cake than I should have done.

littlemisssensible · 03/03/2008 12:56

Yep! I did loads of walking!!! DD and DH are a nightmare, we went from one end of the park for a ride over to the other side for another ride then back again for a show etc. Neither of them would plan the day at all so my feet were frazzled!!!! Just kept trying to think of all the calories I was burning.....trouble is, I kept replenishing them with hot chocolate because it was cold and drizzly!

Thanx for the kick, if I knew how to do links I'd happily reciprocate!

Gotta stop binging,
Gotta stop binging,
Gotta stop binging.....

TigerFeet · 03/03/2008 14:17

LMS

do - "[[ "

followed by the url -"http://greywolf.critter.net/images/gallery/critters/kitsumi-kick.jpg"

followed by whatever you want to appear on the page - "kick me please I can't stop eating"

finally - "]] "

so take hhe spaces out from after "" and before " "
http://greywolf.critter.net/images/gallery/critters/kitsumi-kick.jpg kick me please I can't stop eating

and you get

Kick me please I can't stop eating

which is something I need you all to do, if you would be so kind, muchas gracias

littlemisssensible · 03/03/2008 14:47

Thanx Tiger Feet! And here is "a kickgreywolf.critter.net/images/gallery/critters/kitsumi-kick.jpg"

Hope I've done that right!!!!!

Now all I need to do is find other places to insert!

littlemisssensible · 03/03/2008 14:48

Hmmmmmm....not quite right onviously! I'll have to work on that one!

littlemisssensible · 03/03/2008 14:48

Or even obviously!

littlemisssensible · 03/03/2008 14:49

I'm getting soooo faint I can't type. Must be lack of food!

JackieNo · 03/03/2008 14:52

LMS - the 'description' goes after the address - you put it before. I'll take it as a kick though anyway. (I still do mine the old way - I've done so many that my fingers just do it automatically).

JackieNo · 03/03/2008 14:53

OH yes, and I always preview when I'm doing links.

littlemisssensible · 04/03/2008 13:15

thanx Jackie! I'll have to practise! But where do you fing the stuff to point people at? Just through google or similar?

JackieNo · 04/03/2008 15:22

Yes - just searching for it, and being very terrier-like.
