I don't know. I'm not good with figures. Today I was too frightened to weigh myself after my snack attack yesterday and guess what I was hungry the minute I got up and I'm not pregnant so i don't have any excuse!

Hello losers

Thanks for starting the thread Eddas (I'm actually supposed to be working ).

Am eating a 0.5 point cuppa soup and a slice of bread and butter for lunch. 2 points in total.

Have also had a banana and an apple this morning.

I'm feelnig a bit uninspired as far as evening meals are concerned. I keep craving sausages adn chips. Help!

fedda · 12/02/2008 13:20

How about sausages, mash and baked beans? Not very inspired though.

loler · 12/02/2008 13:26

quorn sausages (depending on type about 1.5 points each), beans (forgotten how much they are but not too bad) and mashed root veg (1 small potato, carrot, celeric and one small parsnip)- dinner for a total of not many points!

Got sister and BF coming this pm and couldn't think what to do them so problem solved!

afternoon all. well done everyone - your losses really are inspiring.

At work today, and keeping on track. This healthy eating malarkey is definitely easier when I'm away from both my fridge, and my rake-thin, non-exersizing, bottomless pit DH [amile].

Ags · 12/02/2008 14:34

Hello everyone, just thought I would christen the new thread. Had a pampered chef party this morning and the lady cooked a fabulous danish pecan pastry ring. 5.5 points per serving!!! It was yummy though. I was very good for lunch and will be for dinner too I hope.

The weight loss so far is 12 stones 7 pounds.

Brilliant, I think!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/02/2008 16:39

Blimey ags - that's almost a whole one of me

Thanks fio. We have sainsburys be good to yourself sausages which are 1.5 points I think.

fedda · 12/02/2008 16:42

We will be having lamb stew with carrot, onion, garlic, celer and dried appricots accompanied by mush and baked beans.

Ags · 12/02/2008 20:06

D'ya know just had fishfingers and mash for dinner. I have not had fishfingers for bloody years and they were truly delish. A real blast from the past. The children were highly amused that I was eating them too.

moodlumthehoodlum · 12/02/2008 20:55

Wow. I weigh what everyone's lost. That makes me fat and everyone else clever and thin.

I just had pasta with porn (sorry PRAWN)chilli, garlic and yogurt.

Don't think I have lost any weight this week. But, good news is that I bought a jumper and a pair of trousers from Fat Face (so perhaps they err on the side of fatties, who knows) in a size 14. . And I came off the pill yesterday so maybe that will cure my non stop urge to eat everything.

Well done everyone. New thread. New inspiration for me.

UC - water retention it is, y'know. Next week you will have lost many many pounds I am sure.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/02/2008 21:53

Well, you are going to love what I had for dinner tonight.....

Fried egg (fried with fry light)
2 rashers bacon (lean with fat cut off)
2 sausages (BGTY)
Grilled tomatoes
Grilled mushrooms
Beans
One slice of toast and butter.

That was 9.5 points really not that bad

I think followed it with a sainsbos choc ice - further 4 points!!!

How great is that? and so much unlike a diet

The pros of having a very light lunch and breakfast.....

fedda · 12/02/2008 22:07

It all sounds nice to me. It's not too late to have a little dance session if you feel guilty.

colditz · 12/02/2008 22:40

I lost 3lb this week so I have shifted my stone!!!!!!!!!! Only 3 more to go!! Whooop whooop! And this is after my Thursday Chipathon - well chuffed.

I think the occasional chipathon helps colditz

Really - I do!

colditz · 12/02/2008 22:46

I have read a few things along those very lines, VVV. Apparently it stops your metabolism dropping, and actually helps weight loss in the long run, as long as you DON't do it too often, and still have a calorie deficit.

For a good chip replacement, spray some butter flavour frylight on a backing tray, chip some new potatoes, and spread them on in one layer, then give anouther squirt with frylight. Leave the skins on, they are really nice. Esp. with poached egg, tinned beans and a sausage|!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/02/2008 22:49

Absolutely colditz. Did you see what I had for dinner?

I still had 4 points left afterwards as well

colditz · 12/02/2008 22:50

Phoooar. I quite fancy that!

I still have 3 points left today but am stashing them. I wish to be drunk later this week.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/02/2008 22:53

I think you and chocolatespider crossed posts with the thread talley - is all okay?

fedda · 12/02/2008 22:53

Okay, may be I'm too harsh on myself. I was good today. Why don't i feel it?
