Choc - don't go!

I have had An Incident with an Indian takeaway and quite a bit of lager this week, so I'm sure I'll have put on weight.

fedda · 15/02/2008 23:16

Who said chocolate was going? i have a feeling chocolate will get it right!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 16/02/2008 09:49

LOL Ags! I've checked on the WW website previously, and it doesnt have "bonking" as an activity

I've also checked for "vigorous housework" and "hoovering". Oh well......

I'm going for an amble around Kew Gardens this afternoon, so that should help my activity points. Only having a light breakfast and light dinner later because I suspect lunch out will be very much point laden.

chocolatespiders · 16/02/2008 12:21

thanks for your support everyone... really means a lot.... i will be staying.. to see this through.. everyone is doing great

I love my food..- i wouldnt be 3-4 stone overweight if i didnt .. and really need some low point snacks for the evening when my girls are in bed... as this is my fav time to eat- generally prefer savory to sweet..

did find the walkers lights crisps in asda but forgot i had bought them... i could have munched them instead of the fattie ones....

chocolatespiders · 16/02/2008 12:26

silk have you tried the linda mcartney sausages i prefer them to the quorn ones much more like the real thing imo?

Eddas · 16/02/2008 13:19

I agree that Linda Mccartney sauages are really nice, I didn't think much of the quorn ones TBH, but Linda's taste quite like meaty ones I have bought some Tesco own veggie sausages. Am yet to try them though

Hi all! Choc, I have had a really bad week this week and my weigh in is tomorrow. I am sorely tempted not to go, but I know that I really need to. I am determined that the stone I have lost is not about to go back on, so please stay as you are not the only one who is struggling with things atm

Ags · 17/02/2008 10:18

Good morning everyone.

Chocolate, glad you are feeling more up for it.

Yesterday was down the road for my friend's dd's 2nd birthday party. I managed to avoid grazing on the kid's tea - sausages, sandwiches, cakes, brownies, biscuits etc. Will of iron I have! Then they decided to order an Indian for dinner. My worst nightmare. But ordered Chicken Tikka and had a spoonful of dh's rice, bit of naan and the salad stuff. Very very tasty but not terrible. Still went over points with the wine I had drunk in the afternoon but wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Have taken a tip from Silk and pre-planned today's eating to be very low points in order to make up for yesterday.

VVV, not surprised that bonking is not listed as an activity. LOL at image of a ww supplementary activity leaflet for bonking with every possible activity listed ie. Fellatio 10mins 1.5 points, Vigorous French kissing 5 mins 1 point, Heavy petting 15 mins 2 points!!!!

Good luck to everyone for tomorrow.

Ags · 17/02/2008 10:21

Hi Mammyjo, sorry you had a bad week. How are you feeling now?

Disenchanted · 17/02/2008 10:22

Hiya,

can I join you?

I want to loose 2 stone, am currently 11st.11

I think I need someone line support

Was supposed to start Thursday but just totally bombed it and ended up having a crap-food filled weekend.

Tomorrow is the day though. Have to do it.

Disenchanted · 17/02/2008 10:24

Is this a WeightWatchers thread?

mammyjo · 17/02/2008 10:49

Hi and welcome disenchanted This is not a specifically WW thread, although most of us are following that plan. You are most welcome to join us!

Ags, I am ok, have just let my strict point counting slip this week so I really need to get back to it. It is at this point that I have stumbled before and never been able to get back, so I am hoping I can sort myself out this time!

PerkinWarbeck · 17/02/2008 17:09

hey disenchanted! I'm not WWing (though am hardly an advert for my own diet), just trying to ease off a stone or so off baby weight by trying to eat a bit better, and a bit less, IYKWIM.

Baaad day today though. DH working all weekend, so today I went out for brunch with my single mates. I was mad keen persuaded to have chips with my eggs benedict, and have been grazing all day since.

pasta sauce ready for dinner - borlotti, bacon, toms, 1/2 fat creme fraiche. no idea on the calories but it's all good fresh stuff.

think I'll do well just to maintain my weight this week, but I'm back on tomorrow.

fedda · 17/02/2008 17:39

As for bonking, i read a book French women don't get fat and the author specifically said how beneficial it is to make love for slimming

fedda · 17/02/2008 19:13

B - poridge with honey made with semi.
L - roast chicken with 1/2 Yourkshire pud, 2 roast pots, stir fried carrots and couliflower with water, tea with jam and granola cereal
D- grilled kippers with cucumber and walnut bread with Lupal no salt spread
Will have coffee with 2 sugars and crackers later.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 17/02/2008 20:16

Welcome disenchanted

I've weighed myself today and I have lost another 4lbs

So I am at 13st 10lb! Only 3lbs til I reach my 10% goal! So, I reckon I'll be back to 1/2lb losses for the next few weeks as is the law of sod

Today I've had 2 slices of toast with olive spread and low sugar jam for breakfast.

I forgot to eat lunch

I then made a cottage pie with half mince and half red lentils. It was really nice!!! That was 9.5 points for a large serving. I made a tangerine and mandarin jelly for dessert with a scoop of icecream with it.

Just had 2 WW carrot cake slices - 1 point each. Still got 4 points left. I may indulge in a small chocolate truffle!

mammyjo · 17/02/2008 20:28

Well done VVV!! That is brilliant! I have another 8lbs to go (I think) to get to my 10%, but after my week I will not be holding my breath at the weigh in tomorrow!

Ags · 17/02/2008 21:20

VVV - Well done! That is amazing. And you dipped into the 13's! I love when you move into a new stone bracket. It is really motivating.

Mammyjo, glad you are taking yourself in hand! You are so right about writing things down. I have always found when I stop doing that is when I am losing my dieting mojo! Pens and Paper at the ready for this week!

I have 11 lbs left to get to 10%. Yes, I really am a porker! But it will be such a great feeling when it happens. For once, I am actually visualising it which I think is a good thing.

Today I had 3 weetabix for breakfast and what my dh likes to call my spectacuburger for dinner. Basically burger, avocado, watercress, lime juice, red onion and tomato on a sesame seed bun. It was specatacular (unsurprisingly) and only 7.5 points. Had some oven chips too. Didn't feel like diet food in any way.

silkcushion · 17/02/2008 22:59

VVV 4lbs at this stage isa phenomenal result.

Choc - glad you've stayed with us.

Ags - I've got 12lbs to get to my 10% target so I reckon I win the heftiest heiffer prize

Am feeling confident about tomorrow's weigh in - had a sneaky one this morning and think it will be 2 lbs - hope so cos it'll mean I've lost over a stone in 5 weeks.

Stuck to the pre planned food and the exercise for the weekend - planning makes such a big difference to me. I'm an order and list freak. Can't function without a "to do" list - so I'm applying that to my eating. Even if it involves planning to eat a load of shite one night and making up for it over the next few days.

Have made lunch for tomorrow - ham sandwich, 2 slices of malt loaf and a load of lettuce and raw carrots. I'll buy a diet coke and some walkers french fries to go with it. Dh is making dinner as he is off looking after the children - a scrummy chicken pasta thing with celery, carrots and grapes. Sauce is made with a little light mayo and pesto. Very filling and reasonable pts (forget exactly how many).

Good luck to the rest of the monday weighers!

Ags · 17/02/2008 23:14
