Hi,

I'm starting back on a healthy regime today, I was going to start on the 1st, but seize the day and all that.

Got on the scales this morning and am 206.2 lbs 😣

I'd like to get to 130 lbs so have around 5st/74 lbs to lose.

Feel free to join me but I aim to post daily to keep myself on track. I'm going to go low carb, maybe do an 8 hour eating window and keep a small eye on calories. I have gym membership but haven't been for a while, and also exercise witha friend a couple of times a week.

Morning!

Plan for today is same as yesterday!
Chicken mayo on seeded bread and salad.
Yoghurt and fruit,
Protein and veg for dinner

Leaves room for a little pack of lentil crisps (aldi - 74 cals a pack - have been a lifesaver for me!)

I'm also going to start taking spirulina again. Its something i took years ago for general health but found that it seemed to make me feel full..:.

Interesting, @avocado44 how do you take it? It looks like a good thing to take generally, anyway, so I might give that a go.

Menu today - same as yesterday but not sure about dinner as DP making homemade pizzas and I need to avoid those if possible, or make mine a low-cal one.

Exercise will be a 10 minutes HIT and a long walk - I've somehow misplaced my fit watch, but hopefully it will turn up!

@AntiHop I don't know if there are any specific tests to show it, I was diagnosed with PCOS and they did a lot of blood tests, fasting glucose tests etc and decided from the results of these

@Antihop I was diagnosed as prediabetic.

203.7 lbs this morning.

Yesterday I had

2l water
lots of tea
a sausage
then 2 bowls of lentil soup and 3 homemade flatbreads.

I'm sticking with 1500 a day, but only managed 18:6 the once. Still, one to work towards!

205 this morning. I've come down ill so had homemade soup and flatbreads the last two nights. The wheat will bump my weight up but its better than shop bought. I'm just going to do what I have to do to get better then start again.

That's the problem with low carb - any deviation and it shows on the scale.

Weather is gorgeous here in the Northwest, so a trip to Lytham is planned for a run on the beach ( the dog will be running, not me 😂 )

Still plodding along with the 1500's. Have a very long day tomorrow, away from home, so need to prep so I don't stuff my face on the train home...

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling much better than I was, but still going to load up on soup, you'd think it would do my weight good but it's got potato and flour dumplings in it!

I didn't weigh this morning.

Hopefully everyone has had some losses this week.

I have a new goal, I've just been told I need to attend a work thing in May. We all work remotely and only see top halves on the screen, so I need to get a few stone off by then. I have to fly there and will probably be going on easy jet or ryan air with their tiny seats so I don't want to be uncomfortable on the plane. Last time I flew I felt like I was too fat for the seatbelt and the seats. The seatbelt fitted, I didn't need an extension but I would rather be properly comfortable.

hi - can I join this thread? I’m currently 105kg with a goal weight of 70kg so a fair few stone to lose (I prefer to weigh myself in kg as I find them less emotive - silly as that is, I can have a more detached view of the numbers)

I’m doing a loose 16:8 and calorie counting. I’m having to be a bit careful as I’m only 6 weeks postpartum and I’m exclusively breastfeeding so I’m being careful not to jeopardise my milk supply. I’m trying to still give my body what it needs without the crazy overeating that I’ve been doing since I gave birth. But I desperately need to shift some weight as I just don’t feel like myself at the moment.

Good morning everyone. I'm feeling better but still got a bad chest and a bit of a cough. I was 202.4lbs this morning which was a surprise considering I've been drinking fruit juice and I have had a few biscuits with tea, and bread with soup. I haven't been able to drink as much water as normal either, despite trying.
