SugarAddict101 · 30/01/2023 11:09

Hi,

I'm starting back on a healthy regime today, I was going to start on the 1st, but seize the day and all that.

Got on the scales this morning and am 206.2 lbs 😣

I'd like to get to 130 lbs so have around 5st/74 lbs to lose.

Feel free to join me but I aim to post daily to keep myself on track. I'm going to go low carb, maybe do an 8 hour eating window and keep a small eye on calories. I have gym membership but haven't been for a while, and also exercise witha friend a couple of times a week.

How is everyone doing? I didn't have a good week last week, and i'm 14st 7lb 4oz this morning.

14st 3lb 8oz this morning.

I've been doing a lot of swimming and my diet has looked like this for the last week pretty much:

B: greek yoghurt, nuts, fruit
S: nuts, seeds or fruit
D: pork or chicken in different sauces, salad, a little bit of homemade wraps sometimes

I did have homemade fish & chips the other day, and it was delicious, but a bit naughty on the wheaty/starchy carbs.

Hi, hows everyone doing?

I'm 14st 6lbs 8oz this morning. I'm ready to start a one month challenge to stay on plan til the 1st september and see how much I can lose by then.

Obviously I will carry on past that but thats my mini goal at the moment.

I know I'm full of shit but need to get back on track.

two small poached eggs, one slice of whole meal for breakfast.
I also have 4 stone to lose, and type 2 diabetes. So going low carb.

Three weeks in, and it seems to be working, although I fell of the wagon yesterday and shared a MR Whippy with the grandkids.

SugarAddict101 · 31/07/2023 10:03

I'm planning on having greek youghurt, nuts, chia seeds, maybe a bit of fruit for breakfast and salad for dinner. Its going to get really hot here so I'm planning on using the heat to eat less 😂And I'm going back to a 12-8 window.

Yes hot weather, and a high protein salad is a win win in my book.

Mean while it's pissing down here and I'm craving mash, while eating salad with yogurt dressing and cold meat . Home cooked Keema tonight with 1/2 cup rice.

SugarAddict101 · 01/08/2023 13:57

Nice. I had a chicken salad last night.

I've had yoghurt/fruit/chia for lunch and will have chicken thighs cooked in a paprika sauce and salad tonight.

I've a tray of sugar /carb free (very low) meringues in the oven drying out.
Planning to serve with cream and lightly stewed blackberries.

I've used inulin so who knows what they will be like.

Dinner was egg and chip , OH cooked for me and weighed out the potato ,plus a portion of peas . On the plus side I've lost half a stone this month.

SugarAddict101 · 02/08/2023 09:33

That sounds delicious @woopdedoodle

Yesterday I had

Greek yoghurt
2 tbsp chia seeds, walnuts, almonds
a pineapple ring, an individual tin of fruit cocktail

2 slices of cheese, chorizo, peanuts

chicken thigh in a sauce, h/m onion bhajis, h/m flatbread
vodka & sugar free lemonade

So not great. I'm back up to 14st 6lbs 8oz today. My DH is leaving fro the UK tomorrow so we had a couple of drinks and then fell off the wagon with the bhaji's and bread. And we might eat out tonight as he goes tomorrow. I need to drop out the fruit too.

Meringues were a huge success .

Don't give up, I'm a daily weigher too and my weight will fluctuate 1/2 a stone easily. I take an average so I was 13.5 to 14 stone, now its 13 to 13.5, hence 1/2 a stone lost. Enjoy the time with your partner , is he away a while?

I find it easier to stay "good" when I'm on my own.

Minestrone for lunch, swapped potato for broccoli stalk , I'm retired so do have time to cook from scratch. No idea what we are having for tea.

SugarAddict101 · 02/08/2023 13:58

I'm not sure how long he'll be away, its just however long it takes to do what he's got to do, he's got some stuff to do on the house, then some other bits. Hopefully it wont be too long, but yeah, I could do with a month straight to lose a few pounds. I do much better when he's not here, I get into a nice routine and can be seriously strict with my diet and exercise.

I don't know what we will have, maybe pizza as a last hurrah then straight backon it tomorrow.

settled on salmon fillet for dinner, custard made with yesterdays egg yolks, thickened with inulin with unsweetened berries. Not bad at all.

Peanut butter ( unsweetened) on a cracker as a snack before bed.

This morning two slices of toast and marmite (28g carb)
lunch bacon and egg , tomato with a couple of fresh plums for afters.
Dinner will be beef casserole (it's that cold here) broccoli and etcs

I think there will be some peanut butter turning up around tea time.

SugarAddict101 · 03/08/2023 17:52

I had a burger (h/m) in a roll and chips (not h/m) yesterday.

DH left this morning, I'm going to eat up the last of the snacky bits we've got - half a bag of supermarket prawn crackers and some sugar free ice-cream - I've put the rolls in the freezer, and then I'm ready to start properly tomorrow.
