Hi,

I'm starting back on a healthy regime today, I was going to start on the 1st, but seize the day and all that.

Got on the scales this morning and am 206.2 lbs 😣

I'd like to get to 130 lbs so have around 5st/74 lbs to lose.

Feel free to join me but I aim to post daily to keep myself on track. I'm going to go low carb, maybe do an 8 hour eating window and keep a small eye on calories. I have gym membership but haven't been for a while, and also exercise witha friend a couple of times a week.

How is everyone getting on? @Tiredanddistracted that ratatouille sounds lovely.

1/2 pound off this week. I'm ok with it - we were away last weekend and I'm pleased with how I managed my food as normally it's a reason to just stuff my face!

I'm back, I'm home, I tried to weigh this morning but the scales aren't working. These ones have been a nightmare so I need to get some new ones.

I'm going to get back to an 8hr window, probably 12 - 8, and go high protein again.

Its warm here now so I will eat less because of that. I feel like I need a really good salad, but I know I'm dehydrated, I've been barely drinking 1L of water a day.

Hi 👋🏻 please could I join? I desperately need an accountability thread!

My stats are:
15st 2 lbs start weight (5/6/23)
5ft 6inches
BMI is 34

I have been calorie counting on MFP since last Monday. Have also been using the Crosstrainer at home but it's been SO hot in that room I haven't used it as much as I'd like to. I've been trying to lose weight for a while but haven't every stuck at anything. I have gained 5 stone over the years for various reasons and my overeating is definitely emotional. I am trying to ensure I don't have any foods in which I know will trigger me to binge.

The plan is to keep at the calorie counting and up my exercise.
I think I'll weigh on Fridays.

My day wasn't the best yesterday:

2l water
a croissant with cheese in
grapes, nuts, dried cranberries
homemade chicken nuggets
2 sugar free ice creams

Today I'm aiming for
fruit for breakfast
tuna for lunch
meat & salad, feta, olives for dinner

Make good choices evreyone :D

Weighed in - 1.5lbs off 💃
Changing my diet to the F-plan 1250 - 1500 calories per day containing 45g of fibre.
Just thought I would mix it up a bit!

I will post menu for today, tomorrow.

I weighed on Friday, 201.3lbs, so back where I started.

Weighed this morning and 200.5.

I went for a walk & was in the pool a lot yesterday.

Yesterday I ate:

Croissant & Aquarius drink, on my walk
Nuts & sultanas
French stick, butter, camembert
Pork crunch
Grapes
A pitta with butter & plastic cheese slice
Chips from homegrown potatoes (had to try them) egg, 1.5 sausages, I didnt finish them, I had 2, mushrooms, pitta bread & butter
Mini sugar free ice cream

I need to cut out the bread and processed stuff out and have a proper breakfast so I'm not snacking all day so that's my aim for this week.

Good morning!

200.9 for me today.
I'm going to try not to weigh until friday now.

My plan for today is scrambled egg with mik/butter and cheese & ham, then tuna crunch/salad and meat & veg for dinner. I'm really hungry now but I'm going to try to wait til 12 and eat my dinner by 8, too.

I need to stay away from the nuts/sultanas, and sugar free ice creams!

Yes so... I didn't stay off the scales. 198.9lbs today.

Yesterday:

3 eggs, scrambled, with a small bit of ham, cheese, butter & milk
A bit of sausage that I tried, my DH bought new, different ones
Mackerel salad, without mayo
Some pork crunch when I was snacky later
Nearly 3l water
And I went for a run

Weigh day today, another pound down and I'm now under 200lbs for the first time in a long long time.

I have lots of mini goals saved on the Notes app on my phone to check off - eg under 200lbs, under Xkg, % body weight lost - which helps me because the total loss is so huge it will take a long time!

I couldn't weigh this morning cos the batteries had run out and the ones I put in didn't work. I'm going to order a new set of scales today I think.

I had a little bit of bread yesterday, but it was homemade, and 2 sugerfree icecreams over the weekend so not too bad. My stomach isn't thanking me for it this morning though 🙄
