Friday weigh in club!

Anyone fancy joining me in weighing every Friday and posting our progress? I will also post what exercise I have managed that week.
I need somewhere to be accountable! Ideas for meals would be good to share as we go along too.
I have around a stone to lose and am aiming for 1lb a week loss. I will be loosely calorie counting.

17 stone this morning!
Breakfast was smoky beans on toast from Louise Parker
Lunch was a vegetable fritata from the Betty Crocker 300 calorie cookbook, an apple and an orange
Snack one Babybel
Dinner will be pork casserole and veg, also from Betty Crocker 300 calorie
And some pineapple.

I'm aiming for around 1600 calories a day, today is 1631.

Lunch meal replacement shake, apple
Dinner Prawn stirfry
Snack 2 slices of toast and butter
Protein. Yogurt
1512 cals

Hi all.

Been watching this thread for a few days and seems like I’m in a similar position to a few of you so hoping you don’t mind me joining in!

My twins are almost 2 and I really want to loose the last stone of baby weight, I don’t want another summer of feeling self conscious in everything I wear! I’m on day 15 of calorie counting and tracking on MFP. Was doing 1,400 now down to 1,200. Started at 10st 10 and down to 10st 7 but that was all within the first 10 days, haven’t lost anything in the last 5 days which makes me feel so unmotivated! My goal weight is 10 stone. I go to the gym twice a week.

My problem is snacking, I’m a stay at home mum and I’m constantly in and out of the kitchen making snacks for the kids and it’s so easy to just finish their leftovers or grab a biscuit and those calories add up.

I’m trying to eat low carb where possible and high protein. Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

Thanks @choc27 , I feel like the first week I made good progress but now the progress has slowed down I’m feeling less motivated! I’m 5’7. How about you?

Same height as you! Don't feel demotivated, it will pick up if you stick at.

Dinner chicken stroganoff and roasties.
About 1470 cals.

16.13 this morning!
Breakfast was Bircher carrot cake Muesli and a hard boiled egg
Lunch broccoli bean and pistachio soup, slice of bread, apple and a satsuma
Dinner the last of the pork thing I made at the start of the week, and yoghurt.
Snack one Babybel
1438 calories

I'm still here and ploughing on @choc27 !

Yesterday was an office day, so I had a grains salad from canteen and no idea of the calories (I put down 500cals but could have been more!). Ended day on 1280cals, plus I ran for 30mins on treadmill.

Today I had a sneaky weigh. I'm bloody heavier than Friday still so @Amelia891 I feel your pain on the scales not moving for days on end! I know weight fluctuates etc, but I haven't even cheated so this is a kicker plus the exercise I've been doing! Been super busy at work and haven't managed a work out today (or even a short walk!) but may squeeze in a quick youtube workout once the kids go to bed.

Breakfast - Exante shake (200cal)
Snack - 1 truffle(!) (67 cal)
Lunch - Salmon fillet, grilled courgette, pepper and cherry toms, followed by FibreNow bar (377cal)
Dinner - we're having Pork chops with peppercorn sauce, mash and broccoli from HelloFresh (599cal)

I'm still sticking to calories daily so even though I seem to be in a plateau I'm hoping my body will kick-start again soon!

This week has been a good week because I've been in the office quite a lot and not had tendency to snack so much.

I've also been doing Virtual Gastric Band app after my Dsis doing it last year and losing loads (and keeping it off) it's a bit weird but relaxing and I do feel less hungry but that could be do with all the bloody water I'm constantly drinking.

It really is the weekends where I fall down though - so much temptation!

I seem to have gained 2lbs in the last two days for no reason. Tracking calories and all deficit.

Period not due.
It will probably be water or constipation but so annoying to see scales go up.

I unexpectedly lost my mam just after Christmas so have been losing weight on the grief diet however her sudden death has inspired to make healthier choices.

I've lost 12 pounds in 4 weeks so hopefully will keep up 3 pounds a week over the next month then a steady 2 pound a week. My birthday is may and I'm hoping to back to a healthy BMI by then.

Well, after sticking ridigidly to 1,200cals everyday and only ever maxing at 1,340 on the day I did a long run..... plus exercising everyday for 30mins HiiT or running. I have.... drumroll....

GAINED 1/2 lb.

Argh. I wonder what the point is.

I have stayed static beyond a few ounces

Last week: 9st 4.9

This wee: 9st 4.6

Pretty depressing given how hungry I've been on 1200!!

2lbs off which is great but I had put that on since start of 2023 so back where I started but still pleased it's not going in other direction (as it has been)

Today: 9 stone 11

I'm fairly happy with that. I know it will be slow progress as I am lifting heavy at the gym.

Well done all of you who lost! Those who didn't try not linear so you may lose double next week! Keep at it.

In going out for a rather large lunch today and I'm out tonight for wine so that will be my progress lost anyway!

Well done everyone here and trying. Still 9 stone 2 - really want to hit the first mini target of nice round 9 stone. I think the cold weather has meant I am generally moving less - that is my excuse anyway. Not calorie counting but being conscious about what I eat so now need to get some more exercise in I think.

10 stone 6 this morning, so I’ve lost another lb but I was hoping on 1200 cals I’d have lost more! Slow progress but progress all the same I guess.

Is everyone calorie counting or has anyone tried anything more specific like Keto or intermittent fasting?

I only started my diet a few days ago and I'm 2lbs down, but...that original weigh-in wasn't an early morning one so it's hard to know if I've lost anything...but I'll take it as a win for now.

Still in diet mode and staying away from all chocolate and crisps.

Well done everyone, a loss ia a loss.

I was so disappointed last week as I gained 2lb fir mo apparent reason (ok, probably water weight or similar,) but I kept going. Thankfully I've dropped 4lb this week, which in reality is a 2lb loss.

Starting Weight- 10st 11
Week 1- 10st 13
Week 2- 10st 09
First Goal- 10st
Final Goal - 9st 6lb

Eaten really well this week, calories between 1000 and 1200. I never 'eat back' my exercise calories. Less strict over the weekend and will have takeaway and wine.

Hopefully no more major disappointments as I felt so down last week!
