Mrsmadevans · 06/02/2021 14:18

So far not been too bad but discovered more Christmas stash this morning 🙄
Am sorely tempted to just throw it out but am such a greedy pig l can't 🙄

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/02/2021 14:38

Thanks not

Food bank Mrs?

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/02/2021 15:56

Woeful steps as packing boxes and lots of driving about. Horrible rain though

Not2bObvious · 06/02/2021 16:17

Speaking of M&S, I'm going on a shop there shortly. Hoping I don't have to queue - might top up my flowers with another mini bunch from them.

Thanks for new thread! We went for a nice walk in the park, I also walked to the polish shop for a slice of cheesecake earlier Blush so am on 15,000 steps now. Have yoga class at 630 and just need to get some more exams marked before that.
DH is making Spanish veggie chorizo style sausages with baked potatoes for dinner so not the lowest calorie day ever Grin not to mention the two crumpets with cheese I had as a snack

Happierwithouthim · 06/02/2021 17:50

Ooh m&s flowers, unfortunately nearest one is about an hour from me. Got SuperValu bunch at Christmas.

Gensola you're incubating a baby, take it easy on yourself for a couple of days!

I've had a slice of bread with ham & cheese as a snack/lunch today

Froze ham in portions as it goes out of date tomo, it'll be fine for toasties for dc or will thaw by lunchtime for me.

Making Mac n cheese for dinner to use up dc bacon medallions cooked on thurs morn.

Wanna make something nice too but simple hmm flapjacks or scones?

Not2bObvious · 06/02/2021 18:10

I second what happier said gen, you're an incubator, cheese/cheesecake/chorizo, all the c's, you now need chocolate! I insist.
Brought moody wagon teen with me and I didn't even get to look at the flowers😟 But I did get 2 bras, crisps and cards. Bras were essential, omg, I realised half my day to day bras look like an something chewed them up! It's bizarre really.

This incubator is feeling sick after scrambled egg on toast - couldn’t even stand the smell of the smoked salmon so DH took it off me.
Lots of teaching prep to do today to keep me busy! Grin
It’s horrible weather here, blowing a Gale and really cold. Weight stable at 65.1 despite the extra carbs and the bloating from drugs.

Not2bObvious · 07/02/2021 08:39

Up even more today, up 4lb from last Thursday. Funnily enough I was more annoyed seeing a gain of .4 earlier in the week than I am seeing this new number today, I think it's cause it so obviously just carb bloat (she bloody hopes!)
My (un)HappyScales is now registering a 1lb gain since last Sunday. Could be worse

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 07/02/2021 09:18

There's no way you have put on 4lbs since ThursdayNot damn scales !
Gen is this nausea maybe a good sign? Everything crossed for you 👏🤗😊

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2021 11:21

Bloat not, definitely bloat.

I felt hideous from moment of conception gen, really hope that's what it is for you. Never wanted to wish someone sickness so much Grin

Not2bObvious · 07/02/2021 12:07

We're all here cheering for nausea gen😉
Anyone here try nutracheck? I'm turning into a subscription junkie! Thought I'd try a free week, I need something new & shiny to get me back on track & enthused. Of course I invested a lot of time in mfp and have loads of recipes I manually created but meh, a change might do me good. Only €28 for the year if I like it. Have to decide whether I keep the Les Mills by next Sunday, €134 for a year or €38 for 3 months. Might go 3 months and if still I like it upgrade to the year. I'm clearly not a frugaleers.
Are you moving life? Something you said about boxes yesterday? I'm a goldfish, sorry

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2021 13:49

Yes not. Double move unfortunately. Rental then to buy. Our purchase fell though Monday so has been a stressful week. Sorted now but lots of off track eating.
Lost 1 lb tgus week. I'm taking the win

Not2bObvious · 07/02/2021 13:54

Ahh that sucks (the purchase fall through) You did amazing to lose a pound in those circumstances, moving is seriously tough never mind with added stress of this disaster of a world and purchase issues.
I haven't left my bed yet, having a serious case of what's the point, drive through for lunch. Cannot care right now

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2021 15:16

Not a good day today food wise crisps and nuts

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2021 15:16

Don't care today not, care again from Monday 8 feb

Not2bObvious · 07/02/2021 15:21

Yep agree. Up now, watching a bit of tv and doing the odd bit of stepping - just to expend a little energy so I have a hope of sleeping tonight. Drive through was tasty

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 07/02/2021 15:41

l have eaten my day away FULL STOP!

Not2bObvious · 07/02/2021 16:05

Must be the day for it mrs, don't worry, it'll be a clean slate tomorrow.
Let's not be too hard on ourselves, tricky times. Rewatching Desperate Housewives, my bad memory is making it new experience nearly!

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 07/02/2021 16:06

Setting the timer for 10 mins and doing a batch of steps here & there, over 5,000 so far

OP posts:
Gensola · 07/02/2021 18:06

Food today:
Scrambled egg on toast, avocado
Chestnut soup and a roll, apple, banana
1/2 slice of cherry cheesecake
106 cals of Japanese chilli rice crackers
Dinner will be a lamb roast with greens, roast beetroot, cauliflower cheese and potatoes. Calories= 1,000,000?! Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2021 18:09

Mmm yummy

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2021 18:10

5000 steps is better then zero steps when you are feeling meh

Not2bObvious · 07/02/2021 18:28
