Thank you all for your kind regards re Mum and her fall it's so very kind of you all Flowers. Yes, Mum falling is one of my biggest dreads because it is what happens after , especially if they cannot mobilise quickly again. I can't believe how kind Bob is to her though he's amazing Smile
Gorgeous meals Happier Smile don't blame you wanting to forgoe the pill free week , if l had my time again & they had this on offer , l would bite their hand off Smile
Gen that sounds lovely l love cauliflour Smile
Not l love the snow you are so lucky Grin l am green with envy lol

Not2bObvious · 09/02/2021 18:08

Snows all gone now but still chilly enough for the tiny snowman dd built to survive so she's happy🤗
I pulled myself together and did 25 min body combat and 30 mins jogging. On 9,500 so that's a vast improvement from the 1,700 I was on at 4pm. Exercise really does lift you, pity I needed to be dragged practically kicking & screaming some days. Just under an hour to snack time 😋

I know why don't I remember the good feeling I have after when moaning about starting.
13500 steps after multiple snow ball fights,

Too much food though. Enormous pile of gnocchi which is loaded with calories

Not2bObvious · 09/02/2021 19:37

Pure comfort carbs life, necessary & the snow activity will have offset a good chunk of cals.
Had my snacks, all done now - on 1600 and I'll leave it there

Not2bObvious · 10/02/2021 07:29

Down .6 this morning, up 1.2 on last Wednesday so not too bad. Proper covering of snow here so that's my drive to the office put off. It'll be treadmill steps or house steps today

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 10/02/2021 12:43

Lots of snow here. Managing to maintain my 1/2 stone too heavy weight. No increase is the current goal

Not2bObvious · 10/02/2021 13:16

Pretty much melted here, got my steps on the treadmill - jogged for 50 mins, no speed but pleased with the endurance. Something about working up a sweat always makes me think I'll drop 10lb instantly😂 Delusion central here.
Maintaining is brilliant life, it's practise for the future when you drop the few excess pounds.
Lunch snaffled. Bloody hours til dinner! Need to keep busy

OP posts:
Gensola · 10/02/2021 14:24

Only got 10,500 steps yesterday - need to do more today. About to set alarm for three hours time and try to conquer a really large marking pile, will get up every 50 mins and walk around house for 5 mins. Then will drag DH out for a walk after dinner.

Not2bObvious · 10/02/2021 19:57

Good for you gen, you're really putting the effort in.
Hit 1600 and fighting the urge to have more, the urge should go off me soon I hope. Just over 12,500 - nowhere near 15,000 any day but means I'm not too hungry. It's a fine line

OP posts:
Gensola · 10/02/2021 20:01

12,500 is a hell of a lot more than most do these days! I managed 15,000 every day last week but this week am already down 4,400 because of yesterday. Argh. If I can get out for even 25 mins in morning then I usually make the 15000 easy, but that’s not easy to achieve when I have so much marking etc

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/02/2021 20:13

8500 today

Mrsmadevans · 10/02/2021 21:14

Dh's birthday on Fri he wanted a choc fudge cake from Costco so Dd2 bought one tonight for him. I can see the weekend being a bit torturous for me Grin

Mrsmadevans · 11/02/2021 07:58

Off to MumBobs in a bit, am getting a Valentine's meal from Marks for DH birthday tomorrow so l will be indulging l am afraid .
Hope everyone is ok, it's freezing cold here but no snow thankfully 😊

Mrsmadevans · 11/02/2021 07:59

Mind l love snow and want it to snow when l see ppl have it, there's noo pleasing me is there 😅

Happierwithouthim · 11/02/2021 08:43

Didn't weigh this morning, dog took off after an animal in the ditch last night, and knocked me. I'm sore and feeling sorry for myself and didn't sleep well so left sad step alone for today.

It's trying to snow here but it's not cold enough

ememem84 · 11/02/2021 10:01

haven't weighed in this morning. and have only managed 1274 steps.

i'm not feeling it today. or for the last few days. so have been taking it easy.

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/02/2021 11:00

Ouch hope you feel better soon happier

Not2bObvious · 11/02/2021 11:21

Hope you're ok happier
Sts this morning, same pattern as last week. Haven't helped myself by having an iced bun & slice of buttery toast for elevenses after a veg sausage sambo on a thin for breakfast. Slight feeling of fluff it. Hope it passes, just under 1,500 steps.

Gensola · 11/02/2021 12:16

I didn’t weigh this morning but did go out for a quick walk so on 6,000 steps and will go quickly at lunchtime and then after lessons stop so hopefully three walks around 5000 will get me there. It’s bloody FREEZING.
em I watched Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society with DH and we both now desperately want to visit Guernsey! It looks so beautiful.
Food today - eggs and mushrooms with 1/2 a toast for breakfast, slice of ham and a satsuma snack. Lunch will be soup and a slice of goat cheese and tomato tart. Dinner is fish cakes and veg of various sorts.
Taking a pregnancy test tomorrow morning! So excited 😆 it may be too early but I can’t wait any more ahaha. If negative will leave it and retest on Sunday morning.

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/02/2021 13:20

Ooh exciting and nervous at the same time gen

Not2bObvious · 11/02/2021 14:27

Oh gosh, I remember planning my testing. I think I was about 4 mins late (slight exaggeration, only slight mind) I did think afterwards it made the pregnancy long but in all fairness it's a fair stretch regardless! Very excited & hopeful for you

OP posts:
Gensola · 11/02/2021 14:57

My period doesn’t normally turn up til 13-16th but with ivf they medicate you from day one of your cycle so it’s all a bit different. I won’t panic if I get a negative tomorrow as clinic told me not to test until 15th loll

ememem84 · 11/02/2021 16:05

eeeek gen i'll keep all fingers and toes crossed for you.

guernsey is lovely (although full of covid right now). i've only been once though. should add here that I live in Jersey.... hahaha - equally beautiful.

i think the Others was filmed here, as well as the real housewives of Jersey....the latter shows our island off in all its glory. looks bloody fabulous. the housewives however....

if you want a film about Jersey, try "another mothers son" be warned though its a tear jerker. and a true story.

Not2bObvious · 11/02/2021 19:56

Around 200 over today, 200 under for the last 3 days so ok I think? Takeaway planned for tomorrow
