Ooh mrs I hope your DH had a nice day. My DH woke me up by speculatively groping me so he’s currently under the patio thinking about what he has done Grin I don’t mind him indicating his interest but I hate being woken up!
Walk planned for this morning before we start the 4 hour round trip to PILs.
Pizza tonight which I’m looking forward to - not takeaway just one of the fresh ones from supermarket. I must admit if my test on Monday is negative I’ll be having a large glass of wine and gin

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2021 08:12

Last week with the toast, this week with the groping - that fella has a death wish!
Takeaway has shown itself, up 1.8 this morning. I will not lose my shit, I will not lose my shit... & repeat. Having a pint of water and a cuppa up start the de-salt process. Bigger child has bought valentines present for me, it will be chocolate I know it. After last weeks debacle (30+ quality street, 10+ black magic) I have to do better. DIY jay wiring kit maybe 🤔

@Not2bObvious

Never had marmite. I don't think it's a thing here 🤔 Although I have seen those HC in M&S, I'm kind of banned from buying HCB's as I buy rather too many yellow stickered ones a couple of years and took over my spare freezerBlush I don't even like them that much, just a scourge for a bargain!
This is something I’d do. I bought 11 packs of naan bread last week. Because they were 50p each. And will freeze and we’ll use them.
Not2bObvious · 13/02/2021 08:24

Oh absolutely, you can even use naan as a base for pizza. Can't do that with a hot cross bun sadly.

Gen l would much prefer the toast 🤣🤣🤣
Em l am the world's worst for this , l have 4 freezers hangs head in shame 😂
Not it will come off as soon as it went on 🤩

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2021 09:44

4 freezers, that's living the dream. I'm loving the waste not want not deals I get sometimes in Aldi, 1.5kg chicken €2? Don't mind if I do!
4,000 steps trotting on the spot. Aiming for 10,000 today as the outside looks too wild for a walk. Steak for dinner

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 13/02/2021 10:14

Actually it's Lidl not Aldi that do waste not want not. Up to 6,000 - egg on toast with a rasher for breakfast

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/02/2021 11:56

It is gorgeous. I will Take one for the team and help him eat it.

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2021 15:45

You're a trooper life, I helped my kids with their Pringles earlier - sometimes you've just go to be selfless

Happierwithouthim · 13/02/2021 17:00

Angry at the groping gen
My teeth let me know if I ever move away from sensodyne mad
Not I said same about marmite on frugaleers thread

Bf staying tonight first time with dc at home, they're very excited, dd wants to bake a choc cake and ds wants to bake brownies.

Happierwithouthim · 13/02/2021 17:01

Life that looks fab

Mrsmadevans · 13/02/2021 20:08

Ahhh Life bless him! He is a lovely boy! It looks delicious too Smile
Happier l used to be a Sensodyne devotee too but changed to Lidl's a while back and it is excellent Smile have a lovely weekend with your BF & DC it sounds lovely Smile
Not l love the boxes of veg/fruit for 1.50 Grin yes 4 freezers and they need me to use the stuff up too! Hence the cottage pie and chilli today, MUST use the stuff up! Smile

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2021 22:19

Thought I was flying with my cals for a Saturday til I realised I hadn't added Pringle'gate to my confession mfp
Blast...oh well still 600 or so less than last Saturday so my plan to not cock up as much is still operational

Gensola · 13/02/2021 22:28

We had pizza after PILs. I dare not even consider calories. Other food was ok...ish...(avocado toast and an egg, celeriac and fennel soup with sourdough, 1/2 slice cheesecake... 2 biscuits ... ahem.)!

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/02/2021 08:04

I had pizza and cheesecake. Scraped 7000 steps

Not2bObvious · 14/02/2021 08:28

Scales up another .4 on yesterday, average up .5 from last Sunday. It's like day 1 again tomorrow, I definitely need a decent week done before I can start seeing any progress and this last week has been pretty good. Averaged around 1800, I can lose on that if I keep my steps around 10,000-12,000. Roast dinner of sorts planned, no doubt there'll be too much chocolate around but I'll have to exercise a bit of restraint

OP posts:
Gensola · 14/02/2021 08:52

I was 64.5 yesterday and this morning 65.15 - thanks Pizza!!

Not2bObvious · 14/02/2021 09:27

Carb bloat, be gone by tomorrow gen
Kids bought me lovely treats, him was instructed no chocolate so got lots of actual roses instead - good old M&S! They're beautiful, going to have a nice time arranging them later. I usually get a good week to 10 days out of them so very pleased. Got the treat stuff taken away from my greedy paws immediately and had my guacamole/egg/wholegrain toast brekkie. That'll keep me going for a bit. I'm going to have a browse through my LM and find a workout to do before my treadmill jog. But for now, bed/tea/crappy tv😬

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 14/02/2021 10:18

Given its the start of lent on Wednesday I might aim for a 40 day focus
10k steps, 3 fbw per week and 16-1800 calories

Not2bObvious · 14/02/2021 10:45

Good idea to set an do goal rather than a cut out goal life, I've failed spectacularly with lent goals the last few years. Used to be good at it. Quite frankly I think we've all lost enough this last year without adding to it! Still drinking tea and contemplating what workout to do. Should do weights as my other two this week were body combat. Just for balance

Gensola · 14/02/2021 12:58

I just dipped out of 90 min yoga class at 52 mins. Was not feeling it. Will go on long walk with DH after lunch.
We have ordered a meal from a local French restaurant tonight - it’s an antipasto sharing platter, halibut with fennel and chocolate and pistachio brownies. 🐷

ememem84 · 14/02/2021 13:01

Last night we had steak dauphinoise potatoes and greens. God it was good. And churros. I bloody love a churro.

I had a crumpet for breakfast. And roast chickeny chicks will be had in a bit. With a ton of veg. Might crack open some bubbly. Because Valentine’s Day. #any excuse.
