Not2bObvious · 08/02/2021 08:17

Down 1.8 on yesterday, up 1.6 on last Monday. Restart again. Have told him no chocolates for valentines, stupid bloody day but the kids love any occasion so I'll treat them to some. I just can't be in control around box's of chocolate, what's left needs hiding for the moment. I wonder was I having a bit of a hormone spike, not sure how it works on this pill. It was out of control whatever it was. Anywho! Egg/avocado/toast/tea - work from 9am, have 1,000 steps done so far, just a deposit. Might do a body combat later if I can clear the sitting room in the late afternoon

hello! thanks for the new thread.

up into the 77kg mark again. but am on period so thats what that is. . .

run this morning and have done 5,000 steps by lunchtime. just been to iceland and bought a shed load of biscuits. but will not eat them all at once. . .

Not thats one thing that puts me off living room work outs - having to clear the room out first!

it'll be nicer when the weather picks up and i can go outside.

Not2bObvious · 08/02/2021 14:23

Good for you doing a morning run, I'm on house/quick walk to shop steps - 7,500'ish. Not feeling like afternoon workout tbh, might leave it until the morning.

oh i knew what you meant. dh creeped me out on Wednesday evening by sitting at the table (out of sight of my laptop camera but right in my eyeliner) while i did pilates and watched me while eating his snacks.
Not2bObvious · 08/02/2021 15:19

I had the 2 kids gawp at me trying to do a step workout last week. Never graceful at the best of times, this was not helpful. Lol at the thought of you dh watching while eating snacks. Like it was a show of sorts!

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/02/2021 19:21

Well done not.
I'm having a poop day. My head is too full of stress to think of food and tracking

Not2bObvious · 08/02/2021 19:48

Don't even spare it a thought life, don't let it be something that adds to your stress.

Does anyone ever wonder what people who aren't trying to lose weight think of? It's never far from my mind, was just saying to him I reckon I'm always a bit hungry and if I let myself (which I clearly do too often) I'd just eat & eat. Doubt intuitive eating will be anything I'll ever try!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 08/02/2021 20:53

I'm trying not to not. I know when have a long garden. My steps will be got and my head will have nothing else to think about.

Dunno, what else is there to think about. Maybe we need a hobby that isn't food related

Not2bObvious · 08/02/2021 22:31

Yeah a hobby, well there is my wine appreciation on the weekends 🤔
Constantly looking at a phone probably doesn't count... Anywho! Not to worry, tomorrow's another day, my plan in my head is to get up, workout/shower/work/shop for family member/drop off shopping & have the COVID chit chat, something to dread look forward to

Gensola · 09/02/2021 07:36

I’ve been up since 5am every day for past three days, wide awake! I’m getting so much done but now having two breakfasts Grin today I had a yoghurt at 6am and now having a salmon and cream cheese bagel with DH.

Not2bObvious · 09/02/2021 07:49

Dammit - couldn't get it together to get up for workout, will need to replan day a bit

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 09/02/2021 08:10

Scales down .4, no rapid drop like when it's pure bloat. It looks like the last few of weekends caught up with me and I'm truly up 2-3lb. Came in just under 1600 yesterday, aiming for the same today

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 09/02/2021 10:38

Gen l am well jealous of your salmon bagel lol Grin
Been ok so far , just had some cooked chicken , just chicken no bread in the vain hope the protein will fill me up and not make me tired , raise my insulin levels and then make want scoff even more Hmm
Thank you Life Mum is fine this morning , Dd1 is seeing to her for us thank God, so l have a day off, l have to look for a new washing machine and l can't make my mind up!
Not The scales are a damn nuisance they weighed me differently every time l went on them l gave up! It was so disappointing Hmm. l don't believe you have put on 3 lbs you are so tight on your cals and steps. I reckon it is still bloat or the weighing scale is a dumnass Grin
Hope so anyway Smile
I am sure you are reeling at me just eating a little chicken with no bread/veg but l just had to do something to stop me scoffing !

Gensola · 09/02/2021 10:42

mrs well I am planning to have a huge plate of cauliflower cheese for my lunch Grin with ham for protein 😂

Not2bObvious · 09/02/2021 11:03

I missed the bit about your mum falling mrs. I'm so glad she's ok, falls are on my fear list for elderly parent. Chicken is fab for filling you up, hope it works.
I'm working from the bedroom, I will have to move soon but because I can I am. Made my veg sausage on a thin, so saved a few cals, had my snack banana. Off to shops shortly, ugh and it's snowy'ish out

Gensola · 09/02/2021 13:32

mrs sorry to hear your mum has had a fall, it’s so distressing, DH’s step dad recently had one and I know how worrying it is Flowers

Happierwithouthim · 09/02/2021 13:46

Sorry to hear about your mums fall mad

I'm forgoing the pill free week this week as I've found the last few months of it torture, if it's a success I'll discuss it with doctor.

Slow cooker variation of spice entice satay was delicious yesterday, also used last of my shredded chicken from freezer but I can't stay away from treat press these days.

Brought them outdoors to do home schooling today

I often took the pill back to back happier with no drama - apparently the week off was to placate the Catholic Church as it induced the withdrawal bleed, like a fake period. It didn't placate them but there you go. I was told I could if I wanted. Just meant my prescription lasted a shorter time (got queried about it, like I was going mad overdosing on the contraceptive pill)
I am in shockingly shite humour, work is wrecking my head.
