fireflyfairy2 · 27/10/2007 23:00

Carrot & coriander soup uses red/yellow lentils. I have the recipe here if you want it

pollywollydooooooooodle · 27/10/2007 23:16

hello fireflyfairy
evening all
will have to haul myself back on the wagon tomorrow as i fell off tonight (might need a crane!)

brekkie ...muesli
lunch..2 toast and smoked mackeral pate, salad and pickles, yoghurt
eve 1 toast and marmite

in cinema...cornetto and a third of a big bag of maltesers

after cinema....half a thin crust veggie pizza, half a dish of wedges and half a salad

am going to bed like this ('.../.o) again....
speak tomorrow....

susiecutiebananas · 28/10/2007 07:32

Morning all

Well, little cutie obviously doesnt understand the concept of the clocls going back and everyone in the world having an extra hour in bed...

pollywollydooooooooodle · 28/10/2007 10:54

morning susie...i used to hate that feeling of having had my day before hubby got up...

dd woke up at the normal time for her but luckily it was grey and darkish so we were a bit sneaky and sent her back to bed

i feel bleurgh.....i shouldn't have eaten so much so late...i couldn't sleep for ages .....i am trying to remember this feeling so that i'm not tempted to do it again!...this feels like the food equivalent of being hungover....not tempted by any hair of the dog yet!!

pollywollydooooooooodle · 28/10/2007 10:56

ps a relaxed day is a good idea with a long term plan ... enjoy your roast!

fireflyfairy2 · 28/10/2007 12:56

Mmm pizza

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs

Lunch: an apple, a banana & 2 plums.

Dinner: Irish stew (made with beef not lamb)

I had some crisps last night & feel a wee bit guilty, so won't be having anything naughty today

A day of rest is a good idea... & what better day than a Sunday?

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 16:00

Not done at all well up to now today
I decided to come off low carb and eat lots more fruit and veg. Unfortunately not a lot of fruit and veg in house, but plenty of home made carrot cake and lemon biscuits. Do they count towards my five a day do you think

MarkStretch · 28/10/2007 16:59

I've just eaten 5 oatie biscuits. I feel bad but they were sooooooooo good. I just felt the need to tell someone.

MarkStretch · 28/10/2007 17:01

And now I'm off to the kitchen to make a heavenly sin-less pasta for the whole family to take to work/school for lunch tomorrow and I think I will do it at extra high speed to burn off an oatie biscuit.

fireflyfairy2 · 28/10/2007 17:04

Did you make the oatie biscuits yourself?

I bought some sorbet in Lidl today & there are only 11 syns in the whole tub!! So split between 4 of us it should make a nice low syn dessert

spottyshoes · 28/10/2007 18:23

Evening all! Not liking all this talk of biscuits! This is a diet doncha know - cant believe you lot are so weak willed!!

pollywollydooooooooodle · 28/10/2007 18:53

today better
morning ...tea!

3pm goats cheese tart, couscous, red cabbage and apple braised in orange juice, cinnamon and cloves, a few roast veg

later will have fruit and a double chocca mocha drink (94 calories...not bad)

do you know they now make snack size chunky kitkats....hubby kindly told me about them but didn't buy because in 10s....good man!

pollywollydooooooooodle · 28/10/2007 18:54

tangarine · 28/10/2007 22:26

Hello everyone, hope you are all feeling slim and lovely!

I weighed myself at the gym on Thursday night and was 10 stone 4, the lowest I can remember being for a few years. Hooray!

But have had a not so good weekend, with ds2's birthday party - where I ate nothing but cake and cocktail sausages, friends for dinner last night (made the pear and chocolate sponge from Nigella Express the other night and only had a small bit, very yummy) and lunch out today. I'll be better when I'm back at work later in the week as the snacking opportunities are few and far between.

Ds is downstairs eating cheese and drinking red wine so have run away from temptation

tangarine · 28/10/2007 22:26

ps thank you MrsSS for starting the new thread!

gingernutlover · 29/10/2007 07:21

gonna have to do it by healthy eating i thnk but having bought the slimming wolrd and ww stuff off ebay i'm not sure i can do it that way.

mylittlefreya · 29/10/2007 07:27

Hellooooo!

We are going away til Friday but just thought I would quickly drop in and do some pompom waving.

Another solitary lb here - takes me from 11st4 at the start to 10st13. And I refuse to diet on our little well earned holiday - but I do hope I don't put the whole lot back on!

Hope the littlies keep well and so do their mummies - 'see' you all Friday.
