Hi polly and other katybumpers!

We had a lovely day, ate lots but not too much chocolate! Plenty of vino though.

Sorry to have missed the party - I popped in the other night but you were in full swing and didn't want to gatecrash!

Off to friends to eat even more tomorrow - diet is on hold until the New Year, esp as I bought a SIZE 10 skirt yesterday!!! Thank you Katy, as I'd never have got round to losing weight if it hadn't been for you starting the thread

pollywollybauble..hows the munchies with the xmas pot?sounds like you had agreat day, enjoy the rest of christmas xxx

see you all in a bit ,going to make toast
white bread with oooodles of proper butter mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

fedda · 26/12/2007 10:12

Good Christmas here as well. Lovely turkey! Avoided Christmas cake and pudding with cream and castard but had 4 chockies though with nuts. My favourite!

santaslittlebumper · 26/12/2007 10:23

sounds good to me fedda.i can't be bothered to eat all the goodies now i've given myself a break.think the thought of the new year party is nudging me in the right direction.(apart from the toast ) mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

pollywollybauble · 26/12/2007 14:19

i know what you mean really, i gave myself permission to have whatever i wanted but then didn't really fancy much apart from my meal....i'm turning into my nan who always used to say she was still full up from xmas dinner when the evening buffet and chocs came round...never used to understand that
(do you think my stomach has shrunk? [hopeful])

mylittlepudding · 26/12/2007 14:24

I have eaten too much...
Quetiapine making me hungry? Perhaps? Plus my wonderful cooking, of course. Steered mostly clear of the alcohol though (sedated enough already!) Had some wonderful, hugely calorific baklava. Mmmmm
DD had a great birthday and Christmas Day, that is the main thing. Her favourite things are my new coffee jar, as it doubles as a great drum and her new beanbag chair, which she thinks is hysterical - who can fathom a 1 year old!

mylittlepudding · 26/12/2007 14:24

Polly - it does sound hopeful! Christmas food can be very constipating too, can't it, which does for the appetite sometimes - certainly in the elderly.

fedda · 26/12/2007 18:06

Too much eating here as well, I'm afraid.

pollywollybauble · 26/12/2007 22:31

nice to know there's someone else with the birthday/xmas combination! dd's party with her friends is tomorrow. we're off to the in laws for a few days after then back for her birthday party with family and godparents on 30th.....then i shall be resting!

have definitely eaten too much today as well Fedda....black country buffets are my downfall.....am waddling like a duck tonight

glad you are are ok, if a bit alcohol deprived and sedated mylittlepud.

fedda · 27/12/2007 13:56

Hi, everyone. More people are coming to stay. This Christmas everybody decided to visit us so overeating is becoming a constant feature for a while. Mat be I'm a weak person. I was doing so well in November and I lost the slimming spirit. I often eat to hold a conversation, not because I'm hungry. I'll have to work hard when everyone has gone but I don't know if I can be good for a long time.

santaslittlebumper · 27/12/2007 16:06

i've been thinking of a new title for the new year katybumper diet thread.how about katybumpers ae kicking club?

mylittlepudding · 27/12/2007 20:52

tummy kicking? My tummy is more in need of going!!!

Am tonight - dd is teething, normally in times of illness etc we'd co-sleep, and I can't because of these stupid antipsychotics. I am too. And very very sad.

Made crispy beef in ginger and coriander for tea, with buckwheat noodles. Which was great for the diet, until the chocolate cheesecake . Oh well.

katylessbumpy · 28/12/2007 12:05

namechange for a slinkier new year (hopefully)

feeling really fat today.i know it's all the toast i have eaten making me bloated but i feel so damn uncomfortable

mylittlepudding how are you feeling today?

mylittlepudding · 28/12/2007 14:31

Not nearly as bad as last night - thank you Katy. I am only going to be on these drugs at nighttime now - which I think is the start of much better days again. Thinking positive. The little pudding is very cranky still and chewing on anything that passes by.

I have put on too much with these drugs and my eating... the new year needs to involve more exercise me thinks.

mylittlepudding · 28/12/2007 14:33

How did your sons enjoy Christmas katy - sorry all consumed in my own little world. I hope they have had a great time. Is dd still well?

Happy 4th Birthday to Polly's dd! (Is that right?) My defence is I wasn't due til the end of January... what's yours?!

Jahan · 28/12/2007 14:42

Glad to hear everyone had a good time over Christmas.
We too had an excellent day. Dh did bbq chicken and a chestnut chocolate cheesecake (was gorgeous) and I did all the veg etc for 14 people. Was lots of fun.

I'm not weighing myself til the 2nd week of Jan and will start my diet again after new year.

Sorry no time for personals - have to go see friends new baby. Aaah can't wait.

katylessbumpy · 28/12/2007 15:12

don't worry about being consumed mylittlepudding we are all here for you x

my sons had a great time, the treasure hunt for the wii went down a storm and was their favourite part of the day
dd still well but not sleeping again but i know it won't last forever.

i'm definately joining weightwatchers next wednesday, really looking forward to it as it will be my time(even though dd will have to come with me)

happy birthday little polly

fedda · 28/12/2007 16:37

Katy, I'm overeating all this time and I have soooooo much chocolate. What am I doing? I didn't think I was so stupid!

susiecutiemincepies · 28/12/2007 16:49

my gorgeous girls!! hellllooooooo

I haven ot had time to catch up on thread, just literally popping in to say Hi, I'm still here, and I've not been TOO bad over christmas...

Cant stop just now, have niece coming to stay for night. All well in the cutie house. Mr C eventually got home at just after 23:30 the other night, so we were all together for christmas eve, and day. had a really really lovely time at my brothers house with my mum and step dad too.
Isobel is really poorly again... very coup like cough and keeps getting worryingly cyanosed round the mouth. Last night we were about to get an ambulance, and she perked up, had a good cough and was fine again. and has been ok until about half an hour ago... so we will see how eve goes then Dr first thing...

anyway, meant to be brief... sorry.!

Will fill you in on pressies, and read the rest of thread when LO in bed.

nice to see you all, hope you are all ok? catch you later I hope,

xxxxx

katylessbumpy · 28/12/2007 16:49

your not stupid fedda
your just fueling your body .when you re-start your healthy eating regime your body will instantly recognise the good you are doing and you will lose the extra pounds in no time.
if it helps i always feel better after a blowout .i feel like i need it sometimes to prove to myself that the hard work is worth it.
i have had enough of chocolate and cakes etc as i have been eating what i want.i am now craving healthy food and excercise.can't wait to start the new year with a really positive attitude to my weightloss hth

or at least makes sense

katylessbumpy · 28/12/2007 16:53

yay susiecutie..welcome back.so sorry isobel is poorly again x

fedda · 28/12/2007 16:55

Thank you, Katy. Your support means a lot to me. I hope I'm not doing too much damage as loosing - gaining - loosing - gaining, etc. is not such a good idea overall. I really must go back to healthy eating. I have some lovely apples at home but I reach for chockies and apple pie instead.

katylessbumpy · 28/12/2007 16:58

the new year is nearly here though.so it will be out with the old.can you not donate your chocolates somewhere?
i'm about to start another thread ,shan't be long x

katylessbumpy · 28/12/2007 17:12
