Morning everyone. I've been away for a few days but have just caught up.
Well done on the losses but also well done to everyone reflecting on what they eat. For me, half the problem has been understanding what to eat to make me full but feel like I have enjoyed what I have eaten.
NeverTwerked I love your goal. It is the sort of thing that will bring you so much joy/fun. Mine are a bit boring, but I have 3 dresses (I don't usually keep things that don't fit). One is a size 14 (I am an 18/20), one is a size 10 so my goal is to fit into them as time goes on. They made me feel fanastic wearing them. The other is a dress DH bought for my birthday about 11 years ago after I had lost weight (with WW that time) and I wore at at my birthday on holiday with all my family. I have a big birthday next summer and I want to wear that dress.
Adulthood eating out we do a lot (and takeaway). Takeaway sometimes I have it and sometimes I don't and I just try to eat less of it. Eating out I have whatever I want, but I naturally like fish for example but it obv can come with creamy sauce or he potatoes are creamy etc. My advice is to eat well around eating out. I enjoy the act of eating out so I try not to deprive myself. I only order dessert if it is something I love or have a sorbet if I fancy. Otherwise Iwill have homemade salad for lunch or boiled eggs or something and try to ensure I get out for a walk. I also would not have any carbs with my breakfast or lunch and save them for dinner. I don't log it on MFP, I just try to keep the other meals down to enjoy it.
Someone mentioned cheese and actually I made myself a lovely lunch the other day with brie, manchego, grapes, cured meat, grapes. I just measured everything and I really enjoyed it and was full. 343 cals in total.
I signed up to a virtual challenege (race at your pace) and am walking everyday on a large outdoor space nearby with some nice hills etc. I am managing about 4 miles a day at the moment and have walked almost 90 miles in August so far. It really makes me feel amazing and occasionally I throw in a week 1 or 2 couch25K run/walk.
I've occasionally stepped on the scales and it is going down but I havent looked closely at the number because I want to weigh in monthly officially at the moment.
I did have KFC with the kids yesterday after they begged and regretted it - it wasn't actually something worth wasting calories on.
Good luck all, let's keep going.
