Following on from a certain posters 3 stone loss (well done!!) we are motivated and have dusted off our copies.

Sign up here, all are welcome. We can keep eachother company and help with motivation!

I have a huge amount of weight to shift, but my aim is 3 stone by the end of July (ready for next summer holiday)
I am hoping for 1 stone by Christmas, 1 stone by Easter and 1 stone by the Summer.

I am going to listen to the CD every night. I am also going to take a larger share of the dogwalking duties back from dh (I did this last time and the 45 minutes, 4 times a week really helped) I am also going to go swimming once a week.

I will only be weighing myself every two weeks (as per PMK's advice), and will report my loss here. (if I may)

A mere 150 messages too late, but could I please join you?? Please!

I need to lose 2.5-3 stone and I'm the wrong side of 40 and starting to develop middle-aged spread.

Did quite well while pg with 2nd child and was 10lbs lighter when he was born than when I got pg. How somehow managed to regain those 10lbs since March... Well, not somehow, I know exactly how - thinking that breastfeeding gives me a ticket to unlimited quantities of food

Anyway, already have PK so going to start listening to that every night. Doing a 620km charity bike ride next year and just need a kickstart to start training.

iamasurvivor · 02/11/2007 11:44

be honest ladies does anyone do the mirror exercise every day, and if you do, do you think it really helps??

i have found a secret weapon to tackle my sweet tooth - tictacs only 2 calories per sweet and sweet enough to do the trick.

iamasurvivor · 08/11/2007 07:01

i have reached day 45 and am now 13lb lighter woohoo!!!. Paul was on QVC the other night so i sent him a text to say how wonderful i think the system is....god how big a creep am i ???

LilRedWG · 08/11/2007 08:43

iamasurvivor - well done! That is fantastic. I have fallen off the wagon massively and have been comfort eating and hiding at home.

I lay in bed this morning watching DH sleep and decided that I will make a concerted effort from now - we are off on hols in just under four weeks - for him and me.

iamasurvivor · 08/11/2007 19:26

dont beat your self up about it LIL just keep listening to the CD's and remember why you wanted to do it in the first place. Good luck xx

iamasurvivor · 08/11/2007 19:28

PMK on QVC again tonight at 9pm, maybe watch it and get back some of that original enthusiasm

LilRedWG · 12/11/2007 09:38

Thanks Iamasurvivor. DH recorded one of them for me to watch.

bananaknickers · 12/11/2007 11:43

I have now lost 7.5 lbs in 6 weeks. Not a massive amount but I am pleased with it.

LilRedWG · 12/11/2007 13:24

Well done banana

iamasurvivor · 13/11/2007 00:41

well done banana, how is everyone else doing??

bananaknickers · 20/11/2007 15:43

How is eveyone doing?

morgymoo182 · 20/11/2007 20:19

Hi, does anybody mind if I join?
I've had the CD and book (from Asda) since I started uni (about 9 weeks ago) as had made decision to change my eating habits and lose weight when I got here. Needless to say that it was difficult to listen to the CD with my flatmates partying all hours! Anyway, today went shopping and am depressed as even the size above what I would usually wear wouldn't fit over my fat arse! Also have started to get bad backache over the past few days. Think this is probably due to my lack of cooking finesse, eating on the go constantly, and too many creamy cocktails for £2!
I think I probably have about 7 stone to lose . Am only 19, and seeing all these gorgeous students with their beautiful flat stomachs is giving my self-esteem a battering!
Sorry about the long post , and I don't have children but come on here as it always cheers me up!

glittersparkleandwarmmincepies · 21/11/2007 01:33

(formerly iamasurvivor) hi all, i am down about 16lb now and coming up to day 60. have had a few off days but never beat myself up about it like i have with other diets.
still listening to my cd every day although i struggle to remember to do the visualisations.

welcome morgymoo!!

bananaknickers · 21/11/2007 09:23

morgymoo182 of course you can join us all. Listen to the CD with headphones on if you can. I live in a lively house and find this really helps. You will get lots of support on here. Welcome.

morgymoo182 · 21/11/2007 17:07

We had a flat trip to the Pizza Hut buffet today. But did really well and stopped when I felt I was full after about 5 small slices(unlike one guy who managed to scoff 21 slices of pizza, I kid you not). Also walked back from the city centre which took about an hour so got my exercise for the day!

bananaknickers · 27/11/2007 13:29

Come on where have you all gone?

LilRedMummyGiraffe · 27/11/2007 15:38

Haven't stuck to it, haven't lost weight, feel a failure so I've been lurking. Am off on hols in a week and feeling fedup and fat.

glittersparkleandwarmmincepies · 29/11/2007 16:59

i have fell off the wagon, been really ill with chest infection. going to wedding on saturday so am planning to get back on on monday.

morgymoo182 · 06/12/2007 23:02

I'm feeling fat Just can't motivate myself to do anything.

MummyLady · 24/12/2007 07:32

He has updated his book, and added a new chapter at the back.

Its about sabotage, I am reading it in bits, with my trips to the book shop

woodenchair · 01/01/2008 20:12

Is anyone still listening to the cd, or fancy giving it another go?

I lost 5lb stone when I was listening everyday and I have to say it stayed off even when I stopped. But Christmas has put is all back on again.

I'm going to a wedding in April and would love to be able to get into a size smaller comfortably.

inamerrymuckingfuddle · 01/01/2008 20:23

I got the book and CD a while back , was inspired but did nothing about it, didn't even manage to listen so I would love to join in for some motivation, if that's ok?

sto · 02/01/2008 10:03

New year, new attempt to get back to fighting weight. Can I join?
I got the book ages ago, tried to use it in the summer - holidays got in the way- and am now going to start again.
I've just found this thread and have accepted that I need support to keep going. Has any one tried WW online?

inamerrymuckingfuddle · 02/01/2008 10:35

Just listened to the CD for the first time and am now off to the gym (first time since Oct!) weight is scary, heaviest I've ever been except when pg so I must do something about it

bananaknickers · 02/01/2008 10:48

I am back on the wagon now too. Put a little bit on over Christmas
