Following on from a certain posters 3 stone loss (well done!!) we are motivated and have dusted off our copies.

Sign up here, all are welcome. We can keep eachother company and help with motivation!

I have a huge amount of weight to shift, but my aim is 3 stone by the end of July (ready for next summer holiday)
I am hoping for 1 stone by Christmas, 1 stone by Easter and 1 stone by the Summer.

I am going to listen to the CD every night. I am also going to take a larger share of the dogwalking duties back from dh (I did this last time and the 45 minutes, 4 times a week really helped) I am also going to go swimming once a week.

I will only be weighing myself every two weeks (as per PMK's advice), and will report my loss here. (if I may)

Hi everyone, mind if I join? Well semi-lurking at the mo as haven't bought the CD. Not sure how much I weigh but want to be a size 12 (currently a size 14). I have starting exercising regularly (swim 80-100 lengths a week)and have stopped drinking during the week. This regime has been going for 5 weeks but haven't noticed any inch loss so need to try something else. Also I am ttc so don't want to try anything drastic. It sounds (from the exercises you've listed on here) as though the CD promotes healthy attitudes toward eating so should be ok for women trying to get pregnant too.

Just checked my weight and compared it against bmi. I am within the bmi normal weight range for my height but at the upper end of the range. I would feel happier if I could lose a stone - stone and a half. Therefore, that is my aim (unless I get pg, in which case I will postpone the weightloss and have more to lose after the birth!)

Moocha · 18/10/2007 09:19

Thanks for that, I am on day 7 today and def feel as though I have put weight on this week. Am going to start excersise this week - I have had a bad foot this week so haven't been able to do any. I am going to get my rebounder out of the loft later.

bananaknickers · 18/10/2007 13:16

I can't belive how I can take or leave food these days.

LilBloodRedWantsGore · 18/10/2007 16:33

Tell me your secret please. Eight days in and I'm struggling, feel fat, ugly and fedup

bananaknickers · 18/10/2007 17:21

Well, I am listening to the CD every day without fail. I am not doing the journal as that would get on my nerves. I am drinking more water. I am eating only when I am hungry and only then.I actually ask myself if I am hungry. IO have wolfed food down a couple of times. I have then got straight back on the wagon.
Why don't you read the book again, to refresh your mind. Don't miss listening to the cd. I also have the Q.V.C pack.
This isn't the first time I have done it either. I have started the program about three times in two years. This time I REALLY really want to do it. I am sick of wearing clothes to cover up. I want to wear clothes to look nice. I want to look good in a swimming costume. I want more enerygy. I really want this. I am 38 and I don't want to spend the rest of my life feeling like I need to hide or that I am not as good as everyone else.
Keep at it

woodenchair · 18/10/2007 22:24

I'm now on day 17, I weighed myself yesterday and I'm down 6lb, which I'm really pleased with. yeah!
However, I'm heading for a 7-10 day stretch of pmt when I normally have no control over my eating so am a bit concerned that i could undo my good work.
Will keep listening to cd.

Moocha · 18/10/2007 22:53

gingernutlover · 19/10/2007 07:11

bugger bugger buggerooni i pigged out last night, dh went out to gym and i have a sore throat, i am listening to the CD m,ost nights, so why am i finding it so hard to not binge have probably ruined all the good work now

iamasurvivor · 21/10/2007 09:55

gingernut i pigged out last night for no other reason than i was bored. dont beat yourself up about it, lets hop back on the wagon.

LilBloodRedWantsGore · 22/10/2007 16:16

Hi all - any new weigh-ins? My first one will be on Wednesday. Still not sure I've not gained.

gingernutlover · 22/10/2007 18:32

i officially weiegh in on friday but i did have a sneaky peek and it looks like 2lbs are gone which is brilliant as i havent lost a thing since finishing cambridge diet

lets just hope its still not there on friday lol

LilBloodRedWantsGore · 23/10/2007 08:05

Well done Gigernutlover! I weigh in tomorrow so will let you know.

bananaknickers · 23/10/2007 13:31

I got on the scales yesterday and I have lost another 2lb. I have lost 5.5 lbs in the four weeks. I am very please with that. I know I haven't lost as much as other 'diets' but this is hopefully a new way of life and eating. It took years to look the way I do and will take sometime to get the weight back of. I am very happy with that.
How is everyone else doing?

LilBloodRedWantsGore · 23/10/2007 16:40

Thats great Bananaknickers - well done you!! I hope I can do that well.

iamasurvivor · 23/10/2007 16:42

oops i have stayed the same, but i guess thats cos i fell off the wagon at the weekend.

LilBloodRedWantsGore · 24/10/2007 08:53

Only half a pound, but I have pigged out a fe times so my only suprise is that I haven't gained weight! I want to lose 7lb in the next six weeks so I need to do better.

WalkingCorpseScum · 25/10/2007 16:29
