1lb is good Nocuts. I agree Life the scales are twats.

I have not been well behaved food wise today. I did go for a walk but have also done my fair share of sitting on my arse watching Gangs of London

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 26/04/2020 21:26

Thank you I feel better about my 1lb loss now, I was just annoyed as I was hungry a few times but told myself it would be worth it!! I cant really compare to when I first started slimming world and lost 6lbs in my first week as I eat better than I did then just not fantastic!! Ah well I will try moving more next week.

I consoled myself with a bournville easter egg which I regret now!

curvy I take iron tablets when it's really bad, but I have IBS so if i take iron tablets it makes that worse. Going into nursery 2 days must be hard at the moment, I'm not at work as we didn't have any key worker parents who needed us. Some days I would rather a room of 3 year olds over trying to work out year 6 maths and attempt to keep my 7 year old motivated!! 😂

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 26/04/2020 22:07

Oh nocuts, that must be so difficult, you poor thing!
Going into work gets me away from year 5 and year 10 work! Their dad comes to watch them as he doesn't have work atm, and I get him to do all bits I don't like doing!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 26/04/2020 22:09

*the bits!

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2020 07:19

1lb off is great. .

Feel shit today. Going to try my new meal plan.

Not2bObvious · 27/04/2020 08:08

Flux x’ed up .8 - it feels like 1 step forward 2 steps back these days. Wine over the weekend contributed to that for sure, back to routine today.
Poached egg on toast shortly. Plan for the day, lots of water and get my min 10,000 steps. Stick to or go slightly under cals. If I manage those things, I’ll be pleased.

You ok life, is it health or head feelings? Whichever I hope you start feeling better as the day goes on. Great to get a pound down

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2020 09:57

No I'm not ok. I will be though. Just a down day. MH and feeling like a fatty.

However I've not had breakfast yet and only just feeling hungry. On my 5th so to be 6th cuppa though. All tracked

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 27/04/2020 10:26

Hi all.
Life, hope you begin to feel a bit more like yourself soon.
I've been up since 7, done a load of washing and trying to do some work!
I had yogurt and fruit for breakfast with a coffee.
My weight is still 2lbs up, so think I will just have to take it on the chin.
Plan today is to drink lots of water and eat as well as I can!

Not2bObvious · 27/04/2020 10:35

I’m holding off until lunchtime for food, got an hours walk in before starting work. Between that and showering, I’ve decided to surf the urge to eat for a bit. I’m trying not to get into my own head for fear of low mood. Thought I’d see a drop after walk & extra movement iykwim but no, still 164.6, had been 160.8 on Friday. So I get how you feel about the weight life, bit of breakfast might be required to give you a little lift.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 27/04/2020 12:21

Just had breakfast for lunch, bacon, egg, beans, pudding & toast. Delicious!
Of course I could eat it all again

Hi all
As bad as having no coverage on my mobile was, it's now not charging at all so I'll be only able to contact ye during work hours.

I was also starting to dip, with scales gone up, but luckily meaghers pharmacy gave a discount code valid until tonight so I've ordered symprove again, and this will entitle me to a third month for free, by which time I'll be in my new house and some restrictions will be lifted and I'll be in control of my eating!

Sorry to hear others are finding things challenging too
curvy no one has the right to be critical of other people's priorities regarding food.

Happierwithouthim · 27/04/2020 16:37

breakfast scrambled egg on one slice of seeded toast
snack porridge & stewed apple
lunch meatballs & pilau rice
tried to input this into mfp online but site is down for maintenance - water is back up to where it should be

LaneBoy · 27/04/2020 19:24

Hi all. Not caught up on thread. Slight gain again this week (less than 1lb so not as bad as last week) I am determined to do better this week! I’ve designed myself a workout to do in the mornings as I usually have to miss bits of those on YouTube etc

Tbh with eating I think the most important thing for me is to keep busy! I’ve been making a game for the toddler today and I can get so caught up in doing that sort of thing that I forget to think about food between meals. So the more stuff like that I can do the better

LaneBoy · 27/04/2020 19:29

Hope those who’ve felt down are feeling a bit brighter. Was defo a bad couple of weeks here (zero coincidence they were the two gain weeks!) I’m just trying to go back to taking each day as it comes. I saw this recently about having bad days and I really relate to it, tbh even before all this I would often find I had a bad day after a couple of good ones

Wolfcub · 27/04/2020 20:26

I have eaten all the crap food today. It's been tough

Not2bObvious · 27/04/2020 20:41

That’s a very good explanation lane, sums it up succinctly. You sound very aware of what’s caused the gains, you’ll get shot of any gain no bother - all very positive
I wish every day was busy, I could certainly do more & make myself busier. I’ll try harder tomorrow for sure. Under cals by around 200, but could eat that and more. I won’t....I hope.
Sorry it’s tough today wolf, there’s better days ahead I’m sure. Some days are just shit altogether, you have my sympathies.
Your food sound yum happier, sounds like you’re in the zone!

How you doing now life?

Wolfcub · 27/04/2020 20:46

Ah Life sorry I missed you were having a tough time. Here on the end of a message if I can help in any way.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2020 21:01

So got some work stuff sorted that was hanging from Friday. Ish sorted. What a revelation late brunch instead of breakfast is. 1530 calories today and I feel full. Managed a weight workout and 3/4 of aerobics before WiFi crashed.

Still feel shite but not as bad. Thanks. All.

Likewise wolf. Tough home or work? Yes I know they are the same but I hope ykwim.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2020 21:01

12400 steps. Aimed for 15. Happy with this

Not2bObvious · 27/04/2020 21:45

Glad you’re a smidge better life, great cals & stepping

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 28/04/2020 08:45

Happier, exactly!
Lane that picture sums up how I'm feeling most of the time.
Wolf sorry you are having a tough time.
Not sounds like a good day for you yesterday.
Life glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.

Dd2 has a MRI today, so getting ready to leave.
Have a good day all.

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2020 09:00

Hope it all goes well curvy Flowers
Down a bit this morning, bloody weekend just cocks up the hard work in the long run. Not sure if the UK has a long weekend this coming weekend like us? Not that it should make any huge difference!

Had end of chicken fajita mix with some airfryer chips for dinner last night and lots more water. Taking fybogel to boost fibre too.

Yesterdays weigh in 168
Today 167.1

2 poached eggs on slim seeded bagel with red onion relish for breakfast
snack tinned pears
lunch tuna/sweetcorn/extra light mayo 2 slices irwin bread
dinner hmm not sure yet
discovered I was underrating the amount of water I mix with my revive active in the morning too, so that's good.

curvy good luck with mri, two christmas ago I had a vegan attend my christmas party for my friends, I made a plait thing that everyone vegan/non vegan loved as well as other choices.

life great steps, I went over 10k because it buzzed, not sure by how much.

not yesterdays breakfast sounds yum
lane yep staying busy makes it easier alright
