Glad the scales is dropping for you happier, your food sounds yum again.
I have no energy today, absolutely none. Just over 7,000 steps from a walkie talkie hour this morning and general pottering. But cannot rouse myself at all.
Still in my pjsBlush....and lying in bed. Disgraceful really. Work completely dead, house clean enough, kids doing their work until 1 and then lunch. Probably just have a toasted sambo. I need a fire lit under me

Bf dropped(literally) a cooked chicken maryland from deli in my window after my lunch break, so I'm think hot chicken fillet roll for dinner? Will have to buy roll and cheese or else katsu curry which I don't need to buying anything for. The fillet roll sprang to mind immediately though Grin

Ah nice, in your pjs that's allowed too, it's not a wasted day just a day of rest

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2020 14:43

I’d murder for a hot chicken fillet roll...slobber. Super hungry today, but still trying not to go mad. I’m having a Cajun chicken fillet with broccoli & corn. That’ll leave me room for a little treat later. Just over 9,000 steps, I’ll scrape another couple of thousand before bed (if I ever get my ass up properly!)

Hi everyone.
Thank you for the love for dd2.
She was pretty scared but they were lovely and reassured her. I treated her to a big chocolate bar afterwards.
I don't know if anything is wrong, but the lady pointed at the screen a few times and spoke to her colleague (I could see from outside), but I couldn't hear what they were saying so decided not to dwell on it.
Should get a letter within a week.

Steps today 12137
Food has been ok too.
B- cereal and coffee
L- toasted cheese sandwich, an apple a d satsuma
D- what the cluck chicken, sweet potato mash, carrots, broccoli and gravy.

Oh and I'm a lb down today.

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/04/2020 20:39

Pleased it went well curvy. Sure it wasn't a student there too.

5 g short of protein. No weights workout but all else smashed today.

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2020 20:43

What a brave girl (your dd and you😉) It is scary, the noise is a lot even for a grown up, she deserved a treat for sure.
Nice one life, 5gr is nothing. I’ve gone over but since I was under yesterday I’m still on track. A totally lost day here

You know life, it could have been!
What kind of weights do you lift, life? I want to start, have various ones that I could cobble together, but think I need to start slow?!
Not, the noise was really bad and I wasn't even in the room with her!

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/04/2020 07:07

I do Les mills body pump or a version there of. You can go as light of heavy as you wish and it works on the theory of exhausting the muscles through through multiple repeatitions.

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/04/2020 07:09

My gym is doing online toning groups too using tins and milk carton as weights

You need a full body workout. Let me do some Google. Les mills is free to try but not great at offering alternative of you don't have a bar

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/04/2020 07:13

I've had a quick skim and this one looks ok.
aladygoeswest.com/a-20-minute-bodypump-inspired-full-body-barbell-workout/
If you don't have a barbell hold a weight at your collar bone like a tray and squat.

Pm if you want and I will see if I can get your a tryout of my online gym

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/04/2020 07:15

The rest of the class can be done holding weight or tins or just bodyweight. Let me know and I will give you tips I've learned.
I've no qualifications but have been doing it years

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 29/04/2020 08:13

Thanks life, that looks doable. I don't have a long bar, but ex does so will ask him to bring it round.
When I looked before I found it all a bit confusing and most of them where more complex, with them assuming people already knew the basics so this looks great.
Thank you Smile

Happierwithouthim · 29/04/2020 08:43

Hi all,
My hot chicken roll was a roll with the cold chicken and a slice of light cheddar cheese made with my fingers in the car because I was very hungry and had time to spare before picking up dc.

I also made a mug cake before bedtime.

Scales this week
168
167.1
165.5
Steps not great yesterday, I was tired. approx 6k, doing grocery shopping this evening so don't know how they'll be today either. I'm alone in the building for a lot of today though so I might do stair sprints and some stepping on the spot

had to google what the cluck chicken.

curvy tell me is jackfruit worth the cost?

Well done on lb down and hopefully your dd's mri tells good results, no point borrowing worries from next week now anyway Smile

I sent letter to ex yesterday, it shows where separation costs weren't divided equally and gave a gesture of goodwill, which he won't see like that at all and will implode. Also got the good news that contracts for purchase of my house are with my solicitor Grin

Interesting to hear talk of weights. Mine were first thing put into room of doom so won't be out until we move, I will have space to put them in one of my two sheds so think I'll get a wifi booster out there to do some workouts. Haven't been in the large garden shed yet so depending on its condition it might be best place for it, other shed is an open sided shed, but large so could section off a space there either. Ooh the possibilities, am I allowed to get a little bit excited??

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 29/04/2020 09:45

Happier, I found with one tin of jackfruit was enough for me and my two (but they don't eat loads). It makes a good substitute for pork. Just make sure you drain it really well and then squeeze out all the water and separate it, that way it will take on the flavour of what you are using. It doesn't really taste of anything so needs flavour, but you may already know all this!

What the cluck chicken is one of the best subs I've ever used, it goes crispy at the edges like chicken does when you fry it.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 29/04/2020 09:48

Of course you are allowed to be excited Happier! Great news on the contracts too!

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/04/2020 09:56

Of course you can be excited happier.

Curvy I found another site which give the 5 basic moves for pump. Stand by I will try and find it

Here you go curvy

Not2bObvious · 29/04/2020 11:18

I’m getting excited on your behalf happier, imagine having a dedicated place to set up a little gym, that’s cool.
Done my shopping plus the 2 other shops I do for parent & another vulnerable family member. Holding off for Linda sausage sambo for brunch. More life in me today, thankfully. Blooming chilly and rainy here. Not looking forward to having to drop off shopping & help out later. Want to do my work and lie down but that’s not an option.
Down a teeny bit, average still up by 1lb.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 29/04/2020 11:47

Life, thanks so much! That looks simple enough, even for me!

Just taking a breather from the laptop.
Have to help dd with her school work too, so having a brew to help me with that!

Happierwithouthim · 29/04/2020 12:04

I meant am I allowed to get excited now or should I wait for the contracts to be signed Grin

Ok will check that out curvy is it calorific?

Not2bObvious · 29/04/2020 12:11

Ahh, I thought the purchase was done & dusted since you had the contracts

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 29/04/2020 12:15

And clearly I get more excited about somewhere to put weights!🤣
Sorry guys. As thick as a ditch these days

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 29/04/2020 12:43

Little excited now, super excited on exchange

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 29/04/2020 13:53

Happier, iirc, jackfruit is about 160-170 calories per cup.

Happierwithouthim · 29/04/2020 15:31

life yes that's more the way I'm leaning too
