I agree. Lindt bunny's are entirely medicinal.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 23/04/2020 06:45

Morning all.
I'm going to work today, I'm both looking forward to it and nervous at the same time!
But it will be good to see some of my colleagues and to interact with some children.
I have my lunch ready, I just need to get into gear now!

I agree lindt bunnies are definitely calorie free. Sorry you are having a tough time Wolf, fingers crossed, today will be better for you.

Have a good day everyone.

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/04/2020 07:05

Sts today

Wolfcub · 23/04/2020 07:28

Up 1lb. Not a surprise

Not2bObvious · 23/04/2020 08:23

Down a smidge - probably because of my reduced eating yesterday, but I’ll take it. Had a look at my macros for curiosity sake & I’m a total carb fiend these days. Jeans felt super tight yesterday, hope to shift a few pounds soon cause my circulation can’t take much more! Damn my skinny jean buying spree, few pair of Mom jeans would be more welcome

wolf I ate most things in sight last night, with what you're going through, ds putting hole in wall etc, a Lindt bunny is totally justified!

I think it was because I ate 2 slices of toast, bowl of leek and potato soup and brown scone until 6pm, then meatballs with pasta and parmesan, all grand, but then another half brown scone, a white scone with real butter, some cooking chocolate(rather than eat the dc's easter eggs!) and a big heaped spoon of nutella from the jar Blush

Scales dropped to 164.1 this morning, I've got my water back under control, that's helping.

I was very tired last night, total steps 8200 ish, last time I looked.

Happierwithouthim · 23/04/2020 12:37

Just tracked yesterday 155 over! I thought I was miles over!! Scone isn't accurate as I just used one from mfp but I'll be putting in my own recipe tomorrow as I've perfected it!!!

LaneBoy · 23/04/2020 12:39

Spectacularly unmotivated and carb-cravey today 😳😳😳

Not2bObvious · 23/04/2020 16:59

I’m a carb c’ween these days, loving all the bread, even having pasta & garlic bread for my dinner. Couldn’t do low carb if you paid me.
Managed no snacks between meals, so I’m proper hungry now. I did treat myself to a takeaway coffee when getting petrol earlier. Like Christmas it was! It wasn’t great but the thrill of it outweighed the bitter beans😉 Even spent 130 cals & €3 on it, madness

I'm about 333 calories over today. Weight workout ish done today. Tins and lunges. On 11500 steps. Could be better could be worse. Cookies in the oven

Not2bObvious · 23/04/2020 20:25

Just about made it through with 1800, I could eat more today but I’m going to try stick as I am. 14,000 steps, that’ll do

Hi lovely people!

Very tired today, first day back at work, it was lovely to see some of my colleagues but really sad that I couldn't hug them. We can't do social distancing with the children but did try to keep our distance from each other, not very practical in a nursery!

It was lovely to see the children too.

Steps today 15246, probably why I'm so tired, not done that many steps for a good while.
Food today was good too.
B - porridge with chia, pumpkin and sunflower seeds and ground flax seed with coconut milk and a few berries. Coffee.
L - hearty soup; loads of veggies, beans and wholemeal pasta, then an orange and pear.
S - plum and an apple
D - wasn't that hungry and just wanted something quick so had a vegan ham and cheese toastie.

Going to bed now, night all!

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/04/2020 07:07

Massive salt spike today so not recorded. Also had too many cookies so blew calories.

I'm very tired today and didn't sleep well so we shall see what today brings

Not2bObvious · 24/04/2020 08:13

Your day at work sounded hard work curvy judging by all those steps but soo nice too. Even though I didn’t work with lots of people I still had other company before this. Great days eating too.
I made cookies this morning life, I haven’t done the maths on them yet but I reckon they’re around 350 each despite being made with lighter butter. Look like the big M&S ones. Don’t mind the spikes, you do right not recording it. Watched a short video about self sabotage (not saying you’re doing that, just an aside) and the guy was saying it’s a issue with being able to delay gratification. That in the moment, the urge for something that tastes good outweighs the want to lose weight. Couple that with the fact that weight loss takes time, it’s hard to justify not having the pie (he was an Aussie, I’m assuming he meant meat pie or maybe apple!) when we know it’s delicious in the here & now.
I’m down another bit but big dinner on the cards tonight, so I’d say I’ll be seeing a spike myself tomorrow. And the family have gotten quite fond of a once a week takeaway so that’s tomorrow. I might just cook my own stuff, I don’t want to be a killjoy but honestly if I don’t enjoy it I don’t want to pay for it on my hips.

As I've thought for a while I eat too much too early in the day and run out of calories. This I hit the biscuits as I'm in a slump and blow the day before dinner.

Hhhmmm be time for a rethink. Eleventy million cookie and crisps over

Not2bObvious · 24/04/2020 16:43

And I tend to eat too little throughout the day and go mad at night. So much is unconscious behaviour.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 24/04/2020 17:45

Hhmm

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 24/04/2020 18:48

Hi everyone.
Not, it was a lovely day, but tiring too.
Today steps not as good as yesterday, 12236, will probably get it up to 13k, by tonight.
Tired again so just going to have some veggie sausages and chips!

Not2bObvious · 24/04/2020 21:07

Is that you thinking life? 😉

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 24/04/2020 23:25

Btw veggie sausages & chips sounds lush, are you long following the vegan lifestyle curvy?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 25/04/2020 07:25

Yes not, doesn't happen often.
I'm thinking later breakfast and wait for hunger queues. Which may my mean eating different lunch times. Then have something to grab mid afternoon that's not cookies or crisps.
Min 10k steps

Not2bObvious · 25/04/2020 12:54

I am starving, might have a homemade burger for lunch. Nearly 9,000 steps done, I doubt I’ll get the 15,000 today. No weigh in unless I do a quick check before lunch

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 25/04/2020 16:18

Not, I've been vegan since July 2018, well I say vegan, but I still have boots that are leather and some upcycled cashmere and wool items, that I've had for a long time or they have been second hand.
So I tend to say plant based, because people expect me to be quite militant about it, which I'm not.
My attitude is, you do you and I will do me.
But it doesn't stop some people questioning me every time I eat, especially if it is something 'meat like'. I don't tend to see those people atm because of the virus, so I can eat in peace when I'm at work!
The sausages and chips hit the spot!

Life, I think that is a good idea, to wait for the hunger queues, but will that impact on you when you go back to work?

I amended my ocado order and took out all the treats! Slightly regretting it now, but it will force me to make something if I really want a sweet treat, as I will have to make it.
No steps for me today but did do a workout, it got my heart rate up for a bit, so that will do!

Not2bObvious · 25/04/2020 16:42

There’s a fascination around it alright curvy, I’m guilty since I asked asked too, interested in how long you’d been eating plant based (I’m learning😉)
Good idea to listen for hunger cues.
I’m utterly exhausted, up late. The rest of them are having the salty takeaway, me & my smaller girl will eat homemade oven chips & breaded chicken bits. I can calorie out it nicely.

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 25/04/2020 17:32

No Not I don't mind people asking, and I don't mind explaining Smile, you are not guilty.

It's when some people say daft things like, 'well plants have feelings too', 'but all that soya', 'coconut milk is killing the rainforest', 'cows need to milked' (this one makes me think wtf!) etc etc.
Then when I answer that cows don't need to be milked, that they are a lactating mammal like women, I get told that I'm wrong and they say that Jersey cows have always been milked, and on it goes!
I retort back with some figures too, but they just dismiss it, which is fine, I'm not really that bothered, but they are always the ones that bring up the conversation in the first place!
I try really really hard not to be that 'vegan', but it can be hard, especially at work, I guess it would be easier if I wasn't the only one at work.
