lockdown assisted weight loss, join me?

I’m on day 4 of giving up chocolate and crisps. So far it’s going well. Lockdown is definitely helping, no nipping to the shop to get snacks or sandwiches. I’ve lost 1.3kg this first week. I’m cooking everyday and eating healthy food.

I’m hoping to continue after lockdown too. Must lose weight, my starting weight was 172.6kg. My goal weight is 90kg. Hopefully going to Disney once I’ve lost the weight, that’s my reward.

Anyone Want to join me? What’s your goal and is lock down helping you?

Well now, that weekend was a disaster!

Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday I was at my parents' house for my mum's birthday. I consumed absolute mountains of junk and have gained 3lbs!! Urgh. My skin has also totally erupted. It'd cleared up so much after weeks of watching what I eat. I don't know if it was the sugar or what. Anyway feel very cross with myself (and a bit with my mum, who knows how I struggle to control myself with treats around - she doesn't eat them herself!) and am going to have to somehow scramble back up onto the wagon. This evening I'm going shopping for lovely healthy stuff and I'm starting again!

I only had one walk today but I've spent hours rushing around cleaning and doing laundry and stuff.

Weigh Day Sunday 19th July: 11.1 !!!

I don't know how I'm managed that! Still, I am now officially drum roll... a NORMAL BMI!! I Know BMI isn't necessarily an accurate measure but it feels so good to be reaching normal for me anyway! Another stone and I'll be down to size 12 again. I've not been a 12 for years. I've decided to stick at an average of 1350 cals a day Monday-Friday, but allow myself treats again at the weekends, and not count calories those days.

Just thought I'd check in and see how we have all been getting on?
I'm still going but I've had a really busy 3 weeks so weight has stayed the same...

I've lost exactly 3 stone now and it's taken 4 months.

Haha, I am here! Just ashamed to admit I've gained a pound after too many treats! I'm struggling now, as I'm back to work (a 60 hour week!) so basically exhausted all the time - no workouts, no time for body boarding, very little walking, and too tempted to shovel in sugar! I'm back to 11 stone and feeling a bit miserable about it. I haven't exactly fallen off the wagon (I was proud of myself the other day - went to Tesco and damn nearly bought a chocolate cheesecake from the reduced section, but had the strength to walk away) but it's much harder to stick to my plan these days. I need to keep logging my food even if it goes over, as at least then I'm really aware of what I'm doing to myself.

Yesterday:

Breakfast: Smoothie - 100

Lunch: Wrap - 200
Houmous - 150
Spinach, watercress and rocket - negligible
Necatrine - 100
Cake bar - 100

Snack - half an avocado - 150

Dinner - Lentil and pea soup - 250
Corn cakes - 300
Yoghurt - 50
Banana - 150
Cake bar - 100

Total: 1650, and just 2 slow little walks for exercise

See what I mean, it's all going skewiff!
