lockdown assisted weight loss, join me?

I’m on day 4 of giving up chocolate and crisps. So far it’s going well. Lockdown is definitely helping, no nipping to the shop to get snacks or sandwiches. I’ve lost 1.3kg this first week. I’m cooking everyday and eating healthy food.

I’m hoping to continue after lockdown too. Must lose weight, my starting weight was 172.6kg. My goal weight is 90kg. Hopefully going to Disney once I’ve lost the weight, that’s my reward.

Anyone Want to join me? What’s your goal and is lock down helping you?

Breakfast: 1/2 glass smoothie - 50
Banana - 150
Special K bar - 100

Lunch: Halloumi - 300
Spinach - negligible
Pea and spinach dip - 50

Dinner: Pumpkin fiorelli - 300
Oil - 100
Pine nuts - 100
Rocket - negligible
Cherries - 50
Yoghurt - 50
Cake bar - 100

Total: 1350

Over my limit, and the only official exercise I've had was an hour of bodyboarding this am. BUT I've barely sat down all day, been rushing around sorting and tidying, which I reckon must have burnt a few calories!!

No workout but a dog walk and an hour in the sea.

Coleslaw - 150

Chickpea 'tunafish' - 200

For the first time in months, embarrassed though I am to have to admit it, I've had literally no exercise at all. Been working, sat on my bum all day.

Weigh Day Sunday 28 June: 11.9

Yes!! So happy! I've hit my target of reaching 11.9 before starting my new job next week. And I've officially lost 1.5 stone since I started this thing back in April. I haven't quite slimmed into my size 14s yet. It's weird, I'm kind of on the brink - size 14 is just a little too tight, but my 16s look baggy. I reckon by mid July I'll be a comfortable 14, but my next target is to be 11.7 on Sunday 5th. Watch this space!

Well done! Managing to stick to a new way of eating for this long is so hard and that is really great about your weight loss.

Keep it up! Think how slinky you will be in three months!

Weigh Day, Sunday 5th July: 11.7

Hooray, still loosing a steady 2lbs a week! I was afraid I'd be plateauing by now. I'm currently the heaviest I've ever been before deciding to go on a diet previously, so while I'm uncomfortably fat, no longer abnormally so for me, so I'm at least recognising myself in the mirror again!

Next target, 11.5 by Sunday 12th.
