Any suggestions as to best format to achieve this?

I'm limited as to amount of exercise I can do, so it looks like dietary approach to begin with, then hope to add in some exercise when I can.

Just wondering if anyone has got advice and/or done similar themselves and can share.

All input gratefully received.Flowers

Well done @Handsoffisback - that loss is worth celebrating! 🥳🥳

I've not weighed yet - but will tomorrow.

P.S.
I'm doing ok diet wise. Not stress eating or drinking as I'd normally do when the fan is unduly busy with a certain substance being flung in it's direction. Hmm

Yay to no stress eating (but Boo to stress).

I left for work at 7.45, this morning, after getting up at 5.30 to wash up/mop floors/wash and dry a load/make DS's packed lunch etc. Took a cup of black coffee with me, then didn't stop, not even a coffee/toilet break until 3. So, I had breakfast/lunch/dinner, then. Edamame bean/mushroom stir fry with rice noodles. Today has been my highest calorie intake since I started all this, 10 days ago. Still not getting the proportions quite right, according to MFP.

Does work count as exercise?

I think I'm losing the will a bit, because I don't know if I'm actually losing any weight. I do know I'm eating better food, though probably not enough of it.

Well done, everyone else, though 👋

@MockneyReject

That sounds a full on butt busting day!!
So, please....give yourself huge brownie points for your everything you've done and you still in control of this.
Foget the macros for now - getting into groove of just cutting down in healthier ways is the main first step. Smile

Look at your day as an intermittent fasting day?

Ineedaplan · 02/03/2020 19:39

Use the mirror or tape measure if scales not available, btw.

Ineedaplan · 02/03/2020 19:41

I've just finished dinner - first meal of day for me too, but I had freshly squeezed orange juice late lunchtime, as flagging.

Ineedaplan · 02/03/2020 19:44

Need to carry on with work admin once I've given myself time to digest.....lemon sole, rocket salad and a glass of wine.

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 02/03/2020 19:46

I have literally just sat on my arse all day, and will continue to do so!

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 02/03/2020 23:35

I've cracked!!
Cut a cut to the hand, didn't notice, bled over a lot of paperwork. 😫

Did my best to make do, but had to redo. Why didn't I just do that in first place???Confused

Having a can of beer and 2 crackers. Dammit!

Ineedaplan · 03/03/2020 02:15

Now finished for the night.
Not the best of days, but could have been worse!!

DH brought home one of my favourite bars of Lindt chocolate. Typical!!
Hmm

Ferrisbuellersdayoff · 03/03/2020 02:18

I'm keen to lose two stone, but have just piled at least 4 pounds on through overeating at half term. Chocolate is my downfall, too.

Ineedaplan · 03/03/2020 02:29

@Ferrisbuellersdayoff

Talk to the ✋

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 03/03/2020 02:31

I don't even know which bar he brought in!
Just told him to save it for Easter!
It'll be dark chocolate, so its safe from him. But not me.

Are you joining us?

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 03/03/2020 02:37

I find the support and advice very helpful, @Ferrisbuellersdayoff, but that doesn't mean I'm anywhere near on the road to my goal.
But...mini goals....🌼

Morning everyone!
I need more sleep, but it's not the day for such luxuries.

Hope you get more time to eat today @MockneyReject

OP posts:
Ferrisbuellersdayoff · 03/03/2020 07:37

Go on, I'll join. What's the plan, @ineedaplan ?

Ineedaplan · 03/03/2020 08:22

Im not sure we are all doing the same thing, tbh, @Ferrisbuellersdayoff

I'm tackling food combining, limiting wheat, and intermittent fasting as a scattergun approach to my fat cells at the moment.

I'm hoping to settle into a routine when I've got my healthy mindset back and blown away the cobwebs and rust! Blush

But posters on this thread have been very informative and supportive, so its a good place to be, I find. 😁

Fair question @Handsoffisback, it was the extra work I created for myself and added more than an hour on to my night, just by not making a sensible decision in the first place.
No excuse. Other than my favourite clock got smashed by the dufus dog, which is how I cut my hand.....

I am more committed than I sound, I promise! Just battling against time and getting annoyed at extra work I should have had the sense to realise needed redone. Blush

Mock Crikey that's a day's work at home before your actual "Work" started, Shock if it's running about of course it'll count. Sitting on your axxxx not so much Hmm . I don't weigh either I just have to look at myself in the mirror and put my jeans on to see the diferrence!!

We used to have some scales to weigh luggage but since it broke we don't bother.

I'll tell you a story about chocolate ineed I used to love a couple of squares of dark low sugar choc. after lunch. Then I got a terrible toothache, I couldn't eat ANYTHING for 2 days or so , so I thought if I've managed for 2 days without my drug choc. I'll go without it. (to benefit my teeth). AND into the bargain I dropped added sugar too !!!! Well of course the weight (which I didn't really need to lose) dropped off and I wasn't intending to lose weight, just get my teeth back to health. Grin Grin

So I have a little now and then , like coffee, not every day.

Ineedaplan · 03/03/2020 08:54

Bearing in my mind I am a stress eater and drinker, just a beer and 2 crackers was a cracking job for me! 😄

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 03/03/2020 09:02

@ppeatfruit I've given up chocolate until Easter. Thats why I didn't even look at what he had brought in.
I don't eat too much chocolate now, but when I do, its the high % cocoa stuff.
That I can control - its the snackity snacks at end of day when Im tired that I'm trying to break the habit with. Up to last night, I was doing quite well......but lost it between redoing work, sore hand and my clock in pieces.
Yes, Im whinging! You should have heard me last night!! 🤭

ppeatfruit · 03/03/2020 09:25

Oh ineed your supportive dh Hmm It's amazingly addictive, isn't it? So you've decided to do that for Lent not alk. but for REALLY speedy weight loss Shock Shock and a headache Grin Grin do them BOTH !!!! It'll be a real challenge !!!!!

I can't really talk because I'm not stressed out with work etc. Like you I will only say that it is easier to cope with stress without giving your liver extra. I hope you're drinking loads of water during your none eating days? Sorry Blush I know I sound more than a bit mumsy I can't help it !!!! Being both an ex teacher and a mum !!!!
