Any suggestions as to best format to achieve this?

I'm limited as to amount of exercise I can do, so it looks like dietary approach to begin with, then hope to add in some exercise when I can.

Just wondering if anyone has got advice and/or done similar themselves and can share.

All input gratefully received.Flowers

This is a weight loss site.
If I'd wanted advice on a knackered me and a knackered husband, I'll have asked for it.
We would have got there eventually, if you look upthread @handsoffisback

I accepted weight isn't an isolated issue.

I'm stressed.

He's stressed.

Where do you lay the blame on who is controlling who?
I wish I knew.

Back to work. Damn those time zones!

And it's bed now!! Finally!

Seriously, DH is like the food police only because of my health issues which has caused problems for years.

He can be controlling, especially over the remote control if the footie is on, but Ive been called stubborn, obstinate and mule ish, and that's by friends and family. 🤭

See how I don't describe myself as controlling. ?
I'm not. He can be , a bit, with the telly.

But for easy life, I roll eyes and either work , do something else or, as tonight has proved, play smoke and mirrors with my food......🤣

Does he know that Food Combining IS for health issues as well as weight loss? You don't need to mention that side of it Grin

When dh does it he gets fit.

Ineedaplan · 04/03/2020 18:09

@ppeatfruit anything that doesn't involve carbs and protein on same plate is regarded with suspicion.
Ive given up trying to talk about food to him.

On a positive note - I HIT MY FIRST MINI GOAL !!
5lbs off.....😁

Oh...and finally got a reply to an email. Asking for information that I'd already provided. Angry

YAAAAY Well done ineed !!!!!

It is strange how people are so emotionally involved with what they eat, dsis thinks I'm mad because I watch my health and weight. She thinks (although she's the one who's been very ill more than once and always has the coughs and colds) that I'm a spoilsport 'cos I have soya milk in my coffee!!!!

DD2 is the same though she's ill too!!!

Ineedaplan · 05/03/2020 12:16

Thanks @ppeatfruit, its my first goal and I'm delighted with the scales at least moving in the right direction.

My next mini goal is only 2lbs, which seems far less daunting than another 5lbs, so thanks @FATEdestiny for the mini goal suggestions.

Apologies to @Handsoffisback for being so bluddy grumpy the other night Blush. A mixture of stress, frustration and being overtired. You made a reasonable comment based on my posts and I overreacted. Sorry!

DH has very fixed views on what constitutes a 'proper meal' and its been a source of disagreement, stress and annoyance for bluddy years!

Congratulations on reaching your first goal.👏

I did my two week weigh-in, today. No big wet coat, no full bladder and no big boots. I went on the exact day of the week as the initial weigh in, wearing the exact same clothes (work uniform). I also Googled how many ounces in a pound...Blush
I have actually lost 9lb, so am very happy with that.

Onwards and upwards, eh? 👍

MockneyReject · 05/03/2020 17:39

Gah, I mean pounds in a stone! (See why I miscalculated?)

Ineedaplan · 05/03/2020 22:50

We on right track @MockneyReject.
Maths maybe not our thing? 🤣

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 05/03/2020 22:58
