Need to lose 3stone in 3 months.

Any suggestions as to best format to achieve this?

I'm limited as to amount of exercise I can do, so it looks like dietary approach to begin with, then hope to add in some exercise when I can.

Just wondering if anyone has got advice and/or done similar themselves and can share.

All input gratefully received.Flowers

I did 2 stone in 2 months but I ate 1000 cake a day and went to the gym for 2 hours 4 times a week. I fainted a few times and would not recommend

Ineedaplan · 29/02/2020 01:25

1000 cake?CakeGrin

CorianderLord

I could do the cake, not the 2hours in the gym.

I hope you are better now?
I know enough to know that was frightful and frightening.

If you feel able to share your story, please do.

I know I've benefited greatly, already, by people willing to share....good and bad.

To anyone concerned, Ive sent CorianderLord a pm.
No need to share her story.

I realised when I saw my message, it could look like pressure.

It wasn't meant to be and I've hoped I've explained

Sorry, I know this should be on a different thread, but why can't people answer emails?

It was important. She got it at 8.30 her time.
No response.

Why? Because she's sat on her arse for 2 months.

Now it's even worse than I thought.

Remember I said it was going to be crap week?

Turned into shit fest next week and Im in hospital some of that time.

Am I pissed off? Hell, yes, I bluddy am!!

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 29/02/2020 02:01

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 29/02/2020 02:10

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 29/02/2020 02:13

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 29/02/2020 02:19

Ha! Spoke to a friend from her time zone.
She said.....you cant say her lazy arse... best to say that person's lazy arse...

Confused

Seriously? I know her! Ive spoken to her! Why can't I say her lazy arse?

OP posts:
Ineedaplan · 29/02/2020 02:21

Thanks for those exercise tips - I've given them a go, honest. I live in fear of 'putting my back out', so am going slowly.

OP, hope it helped to get a few things off your chest. We're not doing our weight loss thing in isolation, are we? I was noticeably fed up around days 3-6, and realised I was less tolerant of DS' usual, everyday mess/dawdling/eye rolling, so I did up my calories.

Good news re the jeans, though. I can't weigh myself and my work uniform doesn't feel any different 😕

ppeatfruit · 29/02/2020 09:07

GREAT NEWS YOU CAN GET INTO YOUR JEANS ineed !!!!!! Grin Of course it effin works , I wouldn't have lost the 3 stone if it didn't ( I don't tell porkies !!!!!!!).

Ref. emails and txts I'm in Fr. and sometimes I wait a couple of days for replies. Only one hour time difference Shock

ppeatfruit · 29/02/2020 09:08

Then they all appear at the same time!!

Ineedaplan · 29/02/2020 10:09

I won't get an email till next week, ppeartfruit and thats going to cause huge stress, as I was trying to get as much done as possible this week. FFS.

And thanks @MockneyReject, no, our weight loss isn't done in isolation, but I'd meant to keep this thread purely for weight loss matters. But, maybe it makes it more real, in a way, letting real life be part and parcel of it, and not just a sideline? Hmm

I have ordered some non slip yoga slippers, to help when I'm ready to put my feet up the wall! Grin

Though I was climbing the walls last night, as it was. 😁

Anyways, going to be a stressful weekend here, so I'll take this opportunity to say, keep in touch and keep me sane!😉

I'm not working so it doesn't matter to me. But dh sent me an email from the next room!!!!! and it took 3 days!!!!!!!

Do you breathe mindfully ineed ? i know it sounds a bit whoooo, but if you try breathing through your nose ( all the time) it helps with the panickyness. It takes time to get used to it but it really helps. Oh and I swear by breathing in mint essential oil it's lovely for belly aches/ hiccups reflux, panic etc. I love it it also helps with sleep as does lavender.

Ineedaplan · 29/02/2020 16:39

ppeatfruit - funnily enough I have a set of essential oils ...ermm...somewhere!...and I'll dig them out. I love aromatherapy and my latest book purchase was on clinical aromatherapy. Which is...again...somewhere! Blush

And yes, Im trying to breathe more mindfully lately. But at times its more like 😤

I just use a slim folded pillow for my feet on the wall. It's annoying when everything is packed away!! I've got Tisserand's book on aromatherapy which is great. I use the carrier almond oil with ess. oils every day instead of normal branded products. Even deos.

Oh except for Weleda baby creams which are great for my dry skin when I'm in a hurry.

MockneyReject · 02/03/2020 16:16

Because the only scales in town are still out of use!
It's so frustrating!
