Hi all, does anybody want to buddy up through weight loss journey? I'm feeling really positive. I have 6 stone to loose in order to qualify for any fertility treatment.

I'm on sole source, step one. Sticking to shakes this week. Might have some "meals" next week. Might treat myself to a bar next month.

I feel like the bars could be a slippery slope
for me... I prefer cutting all solids out.

Yes I know, not the healthiest diet long term.. I have no intention of gaining it all back. It's not for everybody, please be nice :) I need a kick start.

We sure can!!! Xx

IndigoSkye · 20/01/2020 21:39

I am really looking forward to being able to wear nice clothes without constantly trying to hide my body! I always thought I was fat (even when I wasn't) and would cover myself up and not wear nice clothes! Now I'd love to have the figure I had then and would make better use of it!! - I will have that figure again- hopefully it won't take too long!!

RedDhalia · 21/01/2020 13:13

5lb off on week 2. Very happy with this considering I'm fighting it against a drug that makes you put weight on!

Total loss 11lb so far. 😁

sunsetandcocktails · 21/01/2020 18:08

Well done @RedDhalia !! That's amazing loss in 2 weeks, especially given the medication.
I've just completed week 1 and lost 5lbs so pretty pleased with that

MrsHufflepuf · 21/01/2020 18:38

Hi all, how are we on all the weight loss!

I've lost 1 stone in 2 weeks OMG.

I gotta face going out for a meal tomorrow, I'm not sure what to do about it...

Well done @RedDhalia @sunsetandcocktails and @MrsHufflepuf on your weight losses. I weigh in tomorrow and am excited!!!

@MrsHufflepuf, I can't remember what step youre on, but could you have a chicken salad type meal, without carbs and maybe have one less product? I was going to speak to my consultant tomorrow as I have to have a meal out next Tuesday.

RedDhalia · 21/01/2020 20:21

Thanks guys, some great losses going on currently.. long may it continue!

MrsHufflepuf · 21/01/2020 21:21

@IndigoSkye thanks, yeah I think I'm going to do exactly that and my consultant is really supportive.

I'm struggling, i think I'm hitting a wall. I'm loving the weight loss obviously, but not being able to eat "real food" is making me miserable. It's worth it, but ... god finding it so hard.

IndigoSkye · 21/01/2020 22:00

@MrsHufflepuf I know what you mean, I didn't think I could do that so I'm on step 2, having a small evening meal! I struggle when I'm working from home though as I used to grab something when I get stressed! That's been the worse for me!

MrsHufflepuf · 21/01/2020 22:04

@IndigoSkye I'm alright like all day, it's evenings which are 100% worse for me, like I might have my shake than go to bed lol.

I'm considering step 2 next week,

OP posts:
RedDhalia · 22/01/2020 08:21

I'm on step 2, and I have the quickest 200 cal meal I can.. hence I either have a 2 egg omelette and 80g chopped and softened tomatoes or the same with scrambled egg. Salt, pepper and paprika's you're on to a winner. I also don't eat until later in the morning as it gives me more choice for the rest of the day.

So far my head is in the game. I've been told to loose 2 stone for potential further ops, so that's keeping me going. I put a bloody stone on over Xmas ( had been in hospital for 3 weeks prior and thought FUCK IT I'm eating ALL the chocolate) so it's a min 3 stone for me currently (well nearly 2 as first one nearly gone).

I'm also at home and will be for the foreseeable future, so I'm doing this so I don't eat crap and go the other way on the scales.

I've been lighter than this over the last few months. A couple of stone off starting weight - can you tell o struggle with my weight - so I've a fair way to go until I start seeing a real difference.

Think what we have to remind ourselves is that it will take a couple of months to actually see and feel the changes - just got to knuckle down and get through them. I bet if we could all look in to the future as to how we will look 2/3 months down the road we wouldn't stop now!!

sunsetandcocktails · 22/01/2020 13:08

Wise words @RedDhalia

Thinking about me in a few months time looking back and being so proud and grateful that I embarked on this mission is definitely keeping me going!

Emma585 · 22/01/2020 19:02

Hi all x got my third weigh in half hour x
I’m so bloody nervous! Cravings are at an all time high today...... not sure if I can handle it!
Please send me strength!!!!
How are you all getting on? X

IndigoSkye · 22/01/2020 19:32

First weigh in and I lost 8.5lbs!! Can't believe it!! Am so pleased with myself, definitely gives you heart to continue with it! Hope everyone is feeling ok today. Smile

RedDhalia · 22/01/2020 20:52

How did you get on @Emma585

@IndigoSkye Amazing!!!!! that's fantastic, well done!!

Emma585 · 22/01/2020 21:16

Well done @IndigoSkye that’s fab!!!
@RedDhalia on lost 1 3/4 lb!! Absolutely gutted! 😔😩
Total of 22 3/4lbs in three weeks.
Iv just had my mac cheese and added some salad and bit of cooked chicken. Thought that must be better than kebab and chips that I was so so close to getting!!! 😕

LadyLightning · 22/01/2020 21:35

Hi all - I really like the soups and find the chocolate hazelnut dessert good too. Watch out for the bars - I find them quite constipating!!!!! But one every now and then is ok. I have lost a stone so far, another 5 to go. Good luck to all of you.

RedDhalia · 22/01/2020 21:49

@Emma585 my consultant says week 3 for some reason is a really bad weigh in week - just got to crack on and get on with it - week 4 will be better!!! I'm not looking forward to it but I'm glad I know in advance. Your overall weight loss is phenomenal though!!

And I must try this chocolate dessert!

Emma585 · 22/01/2020 21:55

@RedDhalia thank you, I’m praying for next week I just want a decent loss!!! I am happy with my overall loss. And I keep trying to remind myself how much I have lost and not focus on how far I have to go!!

@LadyLightning I absolutely love the soups! I have one most days. Haven’t tried the choc pudding either.
Iv got a couple of smoothies to try this week too. Has anyone had them?

I need to remain focussed now.
I’m desperate to get to the 2 stone loss. Then there will only be 5 more after that 😩 xxx

Emma585 · 22/01/2020 21:57

@LadyLightning well done on your loss!!! Your doing fab 😘

RedDhalia · 22/01/2020 22:02

Are the soups filling?!

Emma585 · 23/01/2020 13:02

I think so yeah!!! I use more water then they say to xxx

IndigoSkye · 23/01/2020 20:54

I find the soups quite filling, I also add more water as I find them quite thick!

RedDhalia · 24/01/2020 23:20

So yesterday I was starving.. could have chewed my own arm off - managed to survive the day. Came on this morning earlier than expected so that explained that! Another hungry day but hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Must. Keep. Going. 😬

Emma585 · 25/01/2020 19:18

@RedDhalia keep going x you’ve got this!!!! 💪🏻🥰
