Cambridge Diet / 1:1 diet, anyone? 2020 targets?

Hi all, does anybody want to buddy up through weight loss journey? I'm feeling really positive. I have 6 stone to loose in order to qualify for any fertility treatment.

I'm on sole source, step one. Sticking to shakes this week. Might have some "meals" next week. Might treat myself to a bar next month.

I feel like the bars could be a slippery slope
for me... I prefer cutting all solids out.

Yes I know, not the healthiest diet long term.. I have no intention of gaining it all back. It's not for everybody, please be nice :) I need a kick start.

Hello everyone. I started on Oct 25th, and I'm half a pound short of 3 stone. Weigh day is Monday so can't wait to get my rosette! Nearly half way there but feel and look so much better already. Just tucking into my maple and pecan porridge Smile

I made a mistake today, my friend wanted to show me around Bournemouth! I walked a massive 16800 steps today.
I feel half way to death. Do not recommend!

Is anyone else on four products a day? I'm over 5'8 so have to have four. I'm hoping I still loose as quickly as if I was on three. I need to loose 3.5 stone.

A walk round Bournemouth sounds lovely @MrsHufflepuf, but that's a lot of steps on 600 cals!

Has anyone started a new fitness routine yet? I feel really full of energy and like i want to do something. Thinking coach to 5k.

So nice to be part of a supportive group Smile

I'm on step 2 (3 products and a 200 calorie meal) on advice from my consultant because of health reasons, so I won't lose as quickly which is disappointing but so long as I do lose that's what matters!

I also have 3.5 stone to lose. I have a wedding to go to and I don't want to be this big for that - that's my motivation!

Hi @Soph168 I'm just on three products a day.

Really struggling this even cos I think I must have burned off alot. I was sweating buckets lol.
@devilindisguise1 you'll still loose through! Just think you'll be losing it quicker than you would on say Weight Watchers or Slimming World. You'll still be in Ketosis :)

So I had my weigh in yesterday, I lost 7lb.
Amazing!! I was so happy!! Drinking water is they to this!!

Has anyone tried making their shakes into a mouse? Or making jelly with the water flavourings. I read about it onle but wondering if I should buy it or not.

Try looking at these recipies, I've so far had the quorn mince and the tuna burgers.
Im on step 2, having done this diet successfully a couple of times over the years but second DS and crippling PND has put me 3 stone overweight. Day 7 for me and its been a long week!! Good luck to all x

@westhill11 I found it on a forum I will see if I can find it again. But I think you use the mouse powder you can buy plus the water flavourings and then just pop it in the fridge for 10 mins. And you can have as many as you want. I will try the ice tomorrow as that sounds good.

If you search cambridge diet jelly there are lots of YouTube videos and FB pages on how to make it. I might buy some and give it a go, be nice to have something different.

I've been having 80g of tomato's warmed through in a 2 egg omelette at night. Lots of salt, pepper and paprika - it's very nice!

Day 7 done today. Am hoping that I've lost a decent amount for tomorrow's weight in but I'm on a lot of medication that ahem, bungs me up, and consequently I'm on a lot of lactulose but it has had much effect this week! I'm also sure that lactulose must have a billion calories in it Hmm

This said I'm 2 inches down on my ribbon and I am very happy with that!!

Will report back tomorrow!

Well done to all for sticking with it and some great losses already!! We will get there people!!!

It's my weigh in tomorrow too, I'm very nervous! My sister has been doing it for 2 weeks and has lost 17lbs! She's on tdr, whereas I'm on step 2, so there's no way I will match her loss!

Hi all, I had my first weigh in yesterday after a Christmas break and lost 7lbs. I lost two stone prior to Christmas.
I've used this diet before to lose weight to have my kids. Had 2 18mths apart and now I'm back to lose the ridiculous amount of weight I gained🙁
I have to admit I do love this diet!

I didn't get weighed today however my lovely consultant is coming tomorrow so I shall report back then.

I've just not been hungry today at all, don't know what's wrong with me!
