Cambridge Diet / 1:1 diet, anyone? 2020 targets?

Hi all, does anybody want to buddy up through weight loss journey? I'm feeling really positive. I have 6 stone to loose in order to qualify for any fertility treatment.

I'm on sole source, step one. Sticking to shakes this week. Might have some "meals" next week. Might treat myself to a bar next month.

I feel like the bars could be a slippery slope
for me... I prefer cutting all solids out.

Yes I know, not the healthiest diet long term.. I have no intention of gaining it all back. It's not for everybody, please be nice :) I need a kick start.

I'm trying to think how we would do this because we would need to put numbers on here? Guess could then delete the comment. I am happy to organise it x

Alison1335 · 22/01/2021 14:40

Could we email you our numbers, that way its only your email address you are sharing ?

Leah92x · 22/01/2021 15:45

Yeah absolutely. Fabulous idea! My email is [email protected] if anyone wants to email me I will add you all into a group 😊

Hi guys. I'm using cambridge to break a plataue..never thought I'd do meal replacement but here I am. Today i end of week one and I'm 6lbs down. I've got 1.5st left to lose total, so hoping to get another 7lbs off with Cambridge before i go back on low carb/keto. Don't think I'd last any longer, I miss steak and butter Grin
Although if it feels easy I'll stay on a bit longer.

Question though. I'm drinking diet pepsi and squash. No kcals but will it really impact? Consultant said so.... it keeps me going between meals though. Any help welcome x

Leah92x · 03/02/2021 18:16

I have only had water and black coffee so can't really comment to say whether it does impact from a personal point of view but with these in your diet you won't get your body into ketosis so without them you would have a much higher loss. Around 8-10lb weekly most likely x

Alison1335 · 03/02/2021 18:43

Yes, it makes a massive difference and can result in weigh gain. I made the mistake first week. Best to stay clear but get some water flavourings to help.

Takingontheflab · 04/02/2021 10:48

Ah damn it. Not the answer I'd hoped for but ok, I'll quit!

Cheesecakeandwine · 16/02/2021 10:31

Hi all, I am on day 12 step 2 with a 10lb weight loss so far although I have been stuck on this number for the last 3 mornings!! Had been hoping to shed 1st by my 2 week way in on Thursday but think now that was definitely too high an expectation. I will say though that I am sleeping much better and my energy levels are so much improved so that is a huge plus all on its own!!

littlemissminor · 02/03/2021 19:49

Hi all, hoping I can join?! I started TDR on the Cambridge yesterday and seem to be doing ok so far - I've resisted all temptation of anything not on plan!

Nikkipen · 07/07/2021 01:41

Hi there, how's the diet going? Smile

Gemi33 · 22/07/2021 08:26

Hi All

I tried the 1:1 diet briefly a while ago (4 products a day) but didn't continue as it was really expensive. I'm wondering about trying again but this time 2 products a day and a healthy meal in the evening - has anyone taken this approach? Did it work well?

I really want to lose weight as quickly as possible to keep motivated so just wondering how effective a less extreme approach would be.

xx
