Cambridge Diet / 1:1 diet, anyone? 2020 targets?

Hi all, does anybody want to buddy up through weight loss journey? I'm feeling really positive. I have 6 stone to loose in order to qualify for any fertility treatment.

I'm on sole source, step one. Sticking to shakes this week. Might have some "meals" next week. Might treat myself to a bar next month.

I feel like the bars could be a slippery slope
for me... I prefer cutting all solids out.

Yes I know, not the healthiest diet long term.. I have no intention of gaining it all back. It's not for everybody, please be nice :) I need a kick start.

Hi, just caught up on everyone's weight loss. Well done! Everyone is doing so well. I lost 3lb in week 3, total 13lb lost. So hopefully get my stone next week. I had my first stage 2 meal today, who knew eggs and tomatoes would taste so bloody good. Chocolate hazelnut dessert is heaven!!
Keep going ladies.

Evening ladies!

Day 20 here.. today I've had porridge, a bar, the new chicken tagine meal and the salted caramel bites.

The chicken thing was fine - nothing amazing but it felt like a "proper" meal.

I'm no different on the scales this week so far, expecting bollocks all given that I'm on, and it's week 3!!

Onwards and downwards!

@Emma585 kudos. I had to do the same with Burger King in week one. Nightmare.

Tough week for me this week- late working days and social engagements, including a weekend away with the girls. Eek! Won't be able to stay exactly on plan but intend to be sensible!

What does everyone else do? Have you put all socialising/eating out etc on pause for now?

Weigh in tomorrow - not looking forward to this one so have asked my consultant to bring her tape measure to see if I have lost inches. I'm hoping that will get me through the little weight loss (if any) I'm expecting and keep my head in the game....

I know this because my scales weigh in like hers do and I had a sneaky look this morning!!!

I'm doing this diet now solely as I'm not drinking due to having one very dodgy leg. I figure wine would either help me walk in a straight line or I would just fall. Knowing my luck it would be the latter, so I'm using this time to crack on with the diet.

I love my wine and drink it most evenings. I've not drank "properly" since the 26.11.19. It's the wine that puts the weight on - I drink the 5% stuff that doesn't give you a hangover but is full of sugar. Technically I should be a size 12 by now just by stoping that alone 😁

@sunsetandcocktails to answer your question I'm on "house arrest" for another 2 and a half weeks so I'm having an enforced break off socialising, so you have my sympathy. I would struggle like mad if my friends were eating and drinking in front of me!! X

So I lost a grand total of... nothing.

Zero.

Nada.

Fuck all.

Next week MUST be a better week.

3.5 inches off but that's from 2 weeks ago.

It can't be be.. I've stuck to it. Must. Keep. Going.

@RedDhalia keep going hun! You are doing amazing!!!!
Iv got weigh in tomorrow evening, in dreading it as like you i have weighed at home and the scales are not budging........ Iv really tried this week too.
It’s so disheartening when the loss is tiny or nothing.
I don’t know what else to do I’m feeling really down now.

Any advice welcome xxx

No advice apart from carry on. It will happen, it's just not an overnight thing. Hopefully once we are past this "blip" we will start to see big changes 🙏🏻

Hi, hope everyone is hanging in there. I weighed today and only lost pound! Although I have been constipated for the last couple of days! I'm determined to stick with it, I have felt more energetic this week and have been told I'm looking well a couple of times (which never happens to me). Am trying to convince my husband to give it a go and my lovely consultant gave me a bar to try and tempt him!!

Hi all...I'm on week 3 of the CWP, lost 8lb in the first 2 weeks. I have a lot to lose but my body seems to want to keep hold of it! I am really enjoying it this time, keeping 100% on track and this is made easier as my hubby is doing it with me.

I have found a great consultant which makes all the difference. My first consultant, 6 years ago was a bit of a nymphomaniac, I'd share my weekly update on the plan and she would show me a dickpic of her latest date. She had many of those (dates and pics lol), my second was about 5 stone heavier than me and lacked any form of motivation for the plan, so I lost interest again.
This time I'm perimenopausal, I'm almost 19 stone, I have a gammy leg and I'm raring to go. I am absolutely going to.do this and I look forward to seeing how you all do too x

Hi guys, hope you're all ok and got your head in the zone!!

I weighed myself this morning and I'm 3lb down from Tuesday and in total 14lb down from day 1. I'm now on day 24.

2 stone more to go for medical reasons and probably another 2 stone to go for vanity reasons.

MUST KEEP GOING!!!!!
