Does anyone want to share what they've eaten today? For anyone on any diets (sw,ww,calorie counting,fasting etc) or just for those who want to eat healthy

Chicken and veg casserole
Bit more cottage cheese

Some fried prunes

Lots of water

Dinner will be soup probably, and maybe some crab salad.

Smoothie for breakfast (soya milk and fruit), vegetable Thai curry and rice for lunch, cereal and coconut yoghurt for dinner followed by a vegan almond Magnum. Shouldn’t have had the ice cream really but did 16,000 ish steps yesterday (including the 5k Park Run) so should be okay.

Yesterday we had a dinner party, but I tried to be sensible.

B: Overnight oats.
L: Cauliflower and sweet potato daal, with a packet of Pop Chips.
D: Mediterranean lemon rice, homemade tzatziki (fat free yogurt), homemade coleslaw (Lighter than Light mayo), Greek chicken, lamb meatballs (but only a couple--homemade so I tried to keep the fat content low), Greek salad and pitta bread.

I added it up to around 1800 calories.

Today is my DS's birthday and we are doing Pizza Express for lunch....

I started WW last Monday, so first weigh in tomorrow - I’m excited to see how I’ve got on. I’d like to lose at least 3 stone before my holiday in July. I’ll post yesterday and today with my points- I get 26 a day and 42 weeklies on WW blue.

Yesterday

B- Starbucks hot choc w/ skimmed milk (6) and croissant (10)
L- 2 x slices of warburtons danish (3), 2 x poached eggs
D - Smoked basa fillet, potatoes (2), roast carrots, lettuce, cucumber
Snacks- sweet chilli rice crackers (4), choc rice cake (4)

Today

B- none (I try to also do intermittent fasting on a 16/8 plan so no eating between 8pm and 12 noon - stops me eating rubbish at night when I’m watching telly!)
L- tuna mayo sandwich (4), pea snacks (2) pineapple
D- will be a chicken roast dinner, need to work out the points later!

Had my chicken and salad, with a spoonful of cous cous and some hot sauce. Then I just had five quality street for dessert.

I have a lot of leftovers from last night, including a fair amount of chicken, so...

B: 1 apple and 1 banana

Snack: Piece of chicken thigh (skinless)

L: We went to Pizza Express. I returned my food as it was inedible, so had a pitta bread, with chicken and salad when I got home.

Dinner: Chicken (again), salad and an apple.

1300 calories today but I haven't really moved about much so that will have to do.

Didn’t have breakfast and got really wobbly while bouldering so had to buy some premade overnight oats which weren’t half bad

Leftovers from yesterday for lunch (salad of pinto beans, chipotle in adobo, red cabbage slaw, lettuce, avocado, roast corn with jalapeño and lime)

Snacked on some corn chips and guac, then some cucumber slices and cream cheese. Had a few spoonfuls of DS mashed potato and DD Mac n cheese.

Dinner was beyond sausages stew on sautéed cabbage

Today will be...

Breakfast- Granola and Onken fat free yoghurt.

Lunch - Tikka rice and salad.

Tea - Vegetable soup.

Any tips would be great, I'm new to this and have 2 stone to shift!

I completely understand refusing restaurant food if it’s horrible. Why waste the calories on nasty food?

What was disgusting about your meatballs, @bellyislikejelly??

I ate SO MUCH yesterday. B: 2 scrambled eggs. L: Tapas including chorizo in cider, ham croquettes, lemon and honey chicken wings and tiger king prawns, with churros after. D: Half a takeaway pizza Blush

Today, back on track. B: 2 scrambled eggs. L: Chicken breast, fine beans, sprinkle of Stilton on top of the beans, satsuma. Dinner will be salad, probably with some more chicken.

Today has been okay...
B: Scrambled egg, with GF pitta.
L: Leftover chicken, rice and Greek salad.
D: Jacket potato with tuna and a bit of cheese.

1500 calories.

I weighed again this morning, and have now lost 4lbs since 1st January so mot bad. I certainly have not been starving. I have had a virus though which has stopped me running, so hoping weightloss will improve when I can pick that back up.

@BlueSeaPlease I was surprised it was bad. It was just the pasta dish from their under 600 calorie range, but they had smothered it in chilli flakes. Absolutely smothered. I was shocked at how smothered it was.

L - 2 egg omelette with spring onion, mushroom, cheese and side of baked beans
T - Chicken with green pesto, pasta, veg and sprinkle of Parmesan cheese
S - 4 crab sticks, apple, some grapes
D - 4 teas, 1 green tea, 2 glasses of sf sprite

I ate a lot today but at least in an 8 hour window

  • random leftovers from taco lunch the other day
  • box of raspberries
  • several massive handfuls if roasted nuts and dried cranberries
  • dinner of black eyed peas, collard greens, grits, cornbread, blackberry and blueberry cobbler with ice cream, a whisky cocktail and a glass of white wine
