I started today - 2 children in close proximity & stuffing my face has left me with 3 stone to lose! 5ft3 currently weigh 13stone. Anyone wanna join the chat?

I need to lose 5 stone. I am going to go 16:8, no sweets, cut out dairy as much as I can and try to reduce carbs

I bought new scales today - Lidl are selling fancy digital ones that link up to an app. Normally I weigh myself on a Wii fit but I thought hopping on scales more frequently might motivate me, more. I am aiming for a once weekly weigh in. First one is next Thursday.

The VLCD I'm doing is good but I felt so starved today :( I'm sipping water now but I may treat myself to a coke zero later. (Whoop!)

Joining in too. No idea what my current weight is (will weigh myself tomorrow morning) but it's not great and think I need to lose at least 3 stones. I'm 5'6 and my youngest of my two boys is 2 years old now but I'm continuing to pile on the pounds. History of type 2 diabetes in my family so need to shift it.

I’d like to join!
I’m 5 foot 8 and currently 12.5 stone and would like to be about 10 stone. I have no kids but I have exams in a week so weight loss and healthy eating might not be in the forefront of my mind until they’re over.

I’ll also then get back to the gym as I was going 5 times a week but then studies got in the way.

@NanooCov my DP has type 2 diabetes in his family too and his GP sent him on a diabetes prevention course, which helped him - would that be useful to you too? It was free and was a couple of hours every week for a couple of months. It was quite specific about diabetes prevention as well as weight loss.

Rubbish effort here today at weight loss - I was having a cleaning frenzy whilst the DC were at PIL - DP was in charge of lunch and brought us fish & chips!!

Can I join please? Weighed in today at 11st 2 and only 5ft 1 so could do with losing 2-3 stone. I’m gluten free but managed to eat lots of GF biscuits, mince pies etc over Christmas so need to get back to mfp.

"Official" weigh days will be Monday of each week but I weighed 12 st 9 this morning. Festive flu does at least have one benefit!

Using this weekend to get my life together so that I'm organised on Monday to just crack on. I like a plan and routine so when I tend to fall off the wagon is when I feel unorganised and hectic.

Going to use social calendar dates as my aims. First one is my birthday weekend on 1st Feb. Would like to be at 12 stone there. Second one is Good Friday as it's a huge day out for my social group. Aim for there is to be around 11 stone. It's 14 weeks away so it feels possible!

I've signed up to beachbody, let's see if one to one coaching can get this weight off.
(They try to sell you ridiculous priced shakes but after the first one you can unsubscribe from that).
So weighed in at 160lbs this morning, aiming for 132 by my birthday at the end of April.

This morning I made a piece of toast with marmite and butter, gave half to the dog and ate the rest. Just had a bowl of porridge and blueberries (35g porridge). Will have something at 12 as then going out until 5.

Actually scrap that. Will take an apple and a bottle of water with me but not have anything else before.

I'm down a Kilo, or 2.2lbs in my first two days! Total meal replacement is hard though. I was starved yesterday not too bad this morning. If that ends up being all I lose in the first week I'll be happy! Official weigh-in Thursday on Day 8.

I weighed today (day 3) and made some progress...

Day 1
Weight 84.4kg
Body fat 43.1%

Day 3
Weight 83.3kg
Body fat 42.2%

First couple of days I felt hideous but after a good night's sleep I'm feeling a lot better

Long way to go but keep looking at the lovely clothes in my wardrobe which might fit again one day (that'll be 90% of wardrobe contents 🙄)
