And by that I am referring to standing on the scales again. Not specifically going for a poo. 😳🙈

January 5th: 13 stone 4lbs which means I’ve actually lost 5lbs since last Monday when I weighed myself. I ate A LOT of Brie last week so I don’t really know how.

Catrescue1971 · 05/01/2020 11:51

I'm going to weigh myself in the mornings before my coffee but after my wee, of course!

Isawthesignanditopenedupmyeyes · 05/01/2020 11:57

I’d like to join, 5ft 4 and 13 stone, heaviest ever weight. I hope to get back to 10.7 which is a good weight for me. I’m planning to do intermittent fasting and get back to running. I actually love salads and veg but lack of time and planning is my downfall.

APatchyTomCat · 05/01/2020 12:03

First C25K session done. 🏃‍♀️

Eating wise, I'm going to do 18:6 and just try not to eat shite basically.

Oksunny · 05/01/2020 18:45

Hi guys, quick update as I’m getting kids to bed. Scales arrived today so will weigh tomorrow morning & update with an accurate number!

Dinner tonight was sundried tomato pasta & avocado. Didn’t feel very hungry today so hopefully that continues.

How’s everyone getting on?

Can I join, am a little late to thread. 15 stone, 5’7. Need to lose 2 stone by April. Am going to be the big bridesmaid

Trewser · 05/01/2020 18:50

I had a more relaxed day today as we had a celebratory roast lunch so i had a slice of toast with marmite no butter for breakfast, then a plate of turkey, sausagemeat stuffing, leeks in cheese sauce, carrots, green beans, bread sauce and gravy! Then three posh dates for pudding. I cooked it all so a lot of tasting went on. No more food today but a few cups of tea.

Sjanish33 · 05/01/2020 18:56

@Oksunny can I ask a few questions re: the OMAD? Just wanted to know how many calories are allowed in that one meal and do you ever feel light-headed without breakfast? TIA Flowers

I'm not doing very well on the VLCD this time around. I have about 3 weeks supply here but I had a main meal today and yesterday (no carbs) So I'm looking into other ways to help me over the evening hunger Xmas Angry

Hope everyone is doing better than me. I think I'll be better tomorrow, I have far more resilence in the weekdays. I'm also considering 5:2 Confused

Oksunny · 05/01/2020 19:03

@Sjanish33.

Calories aren’t limited, as you’re only having one meal a day & nothing but water or tea/coffee with no sugar otherwise you can have what you want for your one meal. Burger & fries if you like! Honestly that’s not the healthiest option but their may come a day I choose it because it’s what I really want!

Right now I’m sticking to pasta/rice/salad so I am fuller for longer. Hope that helps!

& no I haven’t felt light headed, but some do. It doesn’t work for everyone... I have experienced nausea but water usually sorts that out for me.

Sjanish33 · 05/01/2020 19:07

Thanks so much @Oksunny - that's great info!

HettyPain · 05/01/2020 19:08

Can I join please? I have to shift this 3 stone once and for all.

whatwouldjohnmclanedo · 05/01/2020 19:12

Hey oksunny, unfortunately at the moment I’m about to start FODMAP for health investigation. So am focusing on being more active

Jinx2020 · 05/01/2020 19:16

Can I join too? 5 foot 2 and 12 stone . . . Really want to get down to 9 and a half.

Ideally plan to cut out snacking and exercise.

Good luck everyone!

Oksunny · 05/01/2020 19:38

I'm eating 1200/1300 cals a day, healthy food, small portion sizes and NO junk or junky snacks. Drinking lots of water. Not doing anything faddy as I'll never keep it up.

looloo247 · 05/01/2020 19:42

I'd love to lose 2 stone, weight has slowly crept up after initially losing baby weight through breast feeding. My son is now 2 and about a stone heavier than I was when he was 6 months old Confused Just had a lovely weekend and my final meal of toad in the hole tonight was delicious - slimming world starts tomorrow!

thunderthighsohwoe · 05/01/2020 19:52

Can I join? 5’1’’ and probably heading towards 14st but daren’t check. I lost loads of weight pre IVF when I discovered that I had PCOS and insulin resistance, so low carb was the way to go. It’s gradually crept back on since going back to work.

Planning to do the intermittent fasting thing - where you don’t eat for 16 hours, is that correct? - and then reduced carb rest of time.

Good luck all.

Oksunny · 05/01/2020 20:11

@thunder yes I think that’s right, you can eat between 9-5 I think.. I did look into that one but it’s to flexible for me I need easy to follow, small amount of prep.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s results! I think after 4 weeks you start feeling & looking better and that’s such a good motivator!

Thunder thighs, I found that using my 8 hours from 12 until 8 a little easier for family life, as it meant that I missed just breakfast, ate lunch at work, then had a family evening meal. Though obvs all circumstances are different - work shifts, etc.

HettyPain · 05/01/2020 21:39

I have signed up to Noom but am not sure if I want to stick with it. I know what I need to do and just need to do it. I have tried many diets!
