I started today - 2 children in close proximity & stuffing my face has left me with 3 stone to lose! 5ft3 currently weigh 13stone. Anyone wanna join the chat?

Me , I'm 13 stone 8lb and was 12 stone 11 only 8 weeks ago Sad

I started at 14.5 stone last year and I want to get to 10.5 stone , I'm 5ft 10 and right now I feel awful

So angry at the weight I've put on in last two months after taking so long to lose it

2 stone would be perfect. It seems such an overwhelming amount to lose. Have to do it though for health reasons. Am starting by doing dry Jan and not SNACKING which I am finding really hard. Also I am at my most hungry at about 5pm, so I could eat then and just have something tiny in the evening but I have to cook for everyone so its bloody difficult not to eat again. Last night I made curry for everyone but wasn't hungry, so left them to it and went and sat in the sitting room to watch tv and everyone got angsty that I wasn't sitting with them.

I'm making tons of homemade soup and have a mug of that if I feel hungry or before a meal to cut down on portion size

I also love a salad of chopped tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce with salt pepper and a splash of apple cider vinegar. Genuinely look forward to eating it, even nicer with a blob of mayo but cant have everything!

I am in. Weighed myself this morning and I was 13st 13lb. I am 5'6" and would like to be 11st. I have re set MyFitnessPal and am aiming for 1330 calories a day but might chop that up and spread it over a week to do intermittent fasting.

Would a bit of Greek yoghurt satisfy the mayo urge?

I think you need to retrain yourself on portion size as it's easy to eat too much so salads and soups can be good to fill the gap sometimes

Do you think we should have a collective weigh in day each week?

I know that we won't all get weighted the same day but we could all post that weeks results on the same day - I know for me personally it would help me keep on track?

Just weighed myself this morning at 14st 3lb. I'm 5'8'', so losing 3 stone would be ideal.

I'm planning to use a combination of MFP, running and willpower!

Agree about not snacking and portion sizes - those are my downfall too. My actual meals are pretty healthy I think.

Haven't quite prepared myself for standing on the scales yet, but guessing that I'm about 16/17 stone and 5ft 7. I'm not sure what weight I'd like to get to, but I'd love to be a size 14/16

Hi can I join? Have to shift 2st in the next few months 😱 Menopausal and post knee op so haven't been active for a while but starting in earnest on Monday as out for lunch today. Have joined the Our Plan program supported by the NHS - has anyone else done this?

Got on the scales this morning, 13st 3 so worse than I thought. Have rejoined weight watchers as I think I need a bit of a kick up the arse Grin.
Can you have buddies on the ww app? Or if not is any one else planning in doing WW?

Thats ok deer! My portion sizes are massive and i snack a lot. Like mrspepperpotty my actual food is healthy. Too much butter and olive oil though.

Had Protein World shakes for breakfast and lunch so that I save my calories for night time as that's when I want to eat all the carbs. It helps me feel less restricted than spreading the calories evenly through the day

So today I've had half a pot of soup 100 cals then a really weird meal of a tin of tuna with a blob of greek yogurt instead of mayo. All my salad stuff had either been eaten by dd1 or gone mouldy! Not hungry though. I've also been for a 20 minute jog. Accordong to MFP I have 1000 cals left for the day Shock

Me too on the evening carbs.

I'm making roast lamb tonight, was going to make potatoes dauphinoise but realises that would be a reckless act of madness, so mash it is (i don't like mash). I'll have some lamb and green beans. Might have a cinnamon bagel with no butter later.

I have weighed myself today and am 16st 2lb. I am 5’7’’. I have good legs but the rest of me is heavy and wobbly. I really want to lose some weight off my face which is looked a bit bloated. I have taken a photo of it this morning in the hope that I will eventually see some difference.

Yes weekly weigh in would be great! But I’m waiting for my scales to arrive from amazon & not till 6th-7th! Damn! Will weigh when they arrive & go from there. Had 2 coffees today & lots of water.

Just made DD crumpets for lunch 😑 I’m having 2 Linda McCartney sausage rolls with rice & salad for dinner.

How about we start all posts with our start date and weight? Then each week update the weight. So:
1 Jan 20: 13st 5lbs
8 Jan 20: .......

Today I have had a small bowl of cheerios, lunch was beans on toast with 15g grated cheddar and a satsuma. MFP only let's me have 1200 cals. Tonight It's mash, quorn mince and broccoli. Hmm
