Is it normal to have, um, near-accidents on this diet? Blush Been rushing to the toilet all day and it ain't pretty.

whatthewhatthewhat · 18/09/2019 15:23

@breakfastpizza not sure about slimfast but I literally just came on here to ask if anyone else was very very VERY windy!?

I've had a three 'meals' though. Maybe I'm having them too close together?

You might be intolerant to some of the ingredients? Soya? Milk or sweeteners?

OP posts:
breakfastpizza · 18/09/2019 15:33

@whatthewhatthewhat I was very windy last week (week one)! Just wind, though, nothing else.

Good point about the ingredients. If it continues, I might investigate other brands.

Alwaysgrey · 18/09/2019 15:41

When I feel Start I always have an upset and weird stomach and then it seems to settle down.

whatthewhatthewhat · 18/09/2019 15:45

Oh how joyous!

😭😢🤣

Evening all, how's every one getting on? So far so good for me, 3 days of sticking to it, but I have a "cleanse" day tomorrow which is going to be REALLY hard. I need to read up but I think it's basically 4 lots of a certain drink and no food. Argh!

whatthewhatthewhat · 18/09/2019 20:16

@Nottalotta hope you're not planning on leaving the house tomorrow?

IsaFlush, which are daily capsules containing a variety of herbs and minerals intended to aid in digestion, regularity, and overall health. The primary ingredient is magnesium, which can act as a laxative

Yikes! Tummy trouble all round!

Sparrowlegs248 · 18/09/2019 20:23

@whatthewhatthewhat I've got a super busy day so hope it will make the cleanse day easier! The isaflush are a daily thing, to help keep things moving. Which isn't a bad thing for me!

I've noticed quite a bit of windiness too, I think it's just the drastic change in diet.

whatthewhatthewhat · 18/09/2019 20:59

I hope the wind settles down!

Good luck staying on plan, usually easier if you're busy!

feellikezerobucks · 19/09/2019 12:22

Day 3 and 3lbs down so far which is encouraging 🤗

Keep on going 💪🏼

whatthewhatthewhat · 19/09/2019 12:50

@feellikezerobucks Day 3 feels good! How's your DD? Typical beginning of term snot fest?

OP posts:
feellikezerobucks · 19/09/2019 13:51

DD is fine thanks, I kept her off as there was sickness going round her class and assumed hers would come with her saying she didnt feel well but it never did so she's been sent back today 🤣 (must be her robust constitution thanks to my cooking 🤦🏽‍♀️)

I kind of feel like I'm not even on it anymore (until good time) I like day 1 when I spent the whole day thinking about food 🤦🏽‍♀️

How are you getting on?
I've decided as i plan to do this for a while I will have a cheat meal once a week....so I'll weigh in on Saturdays and have sat night off.....already trying to fudge the plan 🤦🏽‍♀️🐷🙈

whatthewhatthewhat · 19/09/2019 14:47

Lol! First weeks of term, everyone gets everything?

I'm eating. Snacking, a lot. But, nibbles of cheese, mushrooms and other low carb stuff. I figure if I can stay under 1200 kcals then that's a good week one bed in! Lol

Just measured my self and lost 9inches all together in a month.

Love Exante Grin

whatthewhatthewhat · 19/09/2019 16:00

@TotoroAndMei wow! Well done! Are you doing just three sachets or are you eating too? ( I'm eating! Lol)

OP posts:
TotoroAndMei · 19/09/2019 16:25

Mostly 3 milkshakes/bars

Though my best mate is doing exante too and she has a meal so when she comes round a few times a week we have a 200cal meal.

Sparrowlegs248 · 19/09/2019 16:48

Hi all, my cleanse day is going surprisingly well!! I've been so busy though so that's helped. Have had 3 of the 4 cleanse drinks (not a shake, just like flavoured water). And a snack (allowed). Feeling pretty good, struggled a bit earlier but currently in McDs with my son, I ordered a latte bit not even drinking it!!

Well done on the lbs and inches lost. I had 4.25lbs off on day 3!!

whatthewhatthewhat · 19/09/2019 17:56

@TotoroAndMei have you ever had more than three?

I've had three and 1/4 (fancied the cookie) and oh my days, my wind smells like dog food (TMI). It's nasty. And not like I can stop it...)

Yikes

Serves me right for being greedy hungry 😱😭😳

OP posts:
breakfastpizza · 19/09/2019 18:37

Feeling rubbish again today, although only one bathroom run.

I have no appetite, but I forced down two shakes and just had a big bowl of lentils, veg and egg whites. Ending on 900 calories. Water intake is on track. I'm wondering if I have a bug? Roll on the weekend so I can zonk out...

I did a sneaky weigh-in and am down another 2 lbs so far, so at least all the suffering isn't in vain!

autumnnightsaredrawingin · 19/09/2019 19:31

Hi there, I have been doing exante since end of May. I lost 2st 2lb in 8 weeks, then had 7 weeks off over the summer where I regained 12lb. Been back on exante strictly since 2nd September and lost 11lb since then, 3rd weigh in on Monday and it’s looking like another good loss. I have a mixture of the bars and shakes (never the exante meals!) 3 a day, and then either a 4th product or a 200 cal low carb meal. I actually really enjoy exante now!

feellikezerobucks · 19/09/2019 19:39

@autumnnightsaredrawingin do you have 3 products and then either a 4th or a 200cal meal everyday?

I've had 2 bars today and instead of a 3rd product had 8 chicken sticks (like what you can get as the snack in a sandwich meal deal) which is just under 200 cals......only on day 3 and having real food nearly pushed me over the edge so think I'll be sticking to the products from now on.....

This thread has kept me going so thank you @whatthewhatthewhat for setting up ⭐️

whatthewhatthewhat · 19/09/2019 19:42

@breakfastpizza probably a bug, still it's helping with the weight loss!

OP posts:
whatthewhatthewhat · 19/09/2019 19:42

@autumnnightsaredrawingin well done for going back on it! 11lbs since 2nd sept is awesome!
