Grr

I'm crap

And joking!

How was today for everyone?

Oh I bloody love a chicken Kiev!! I had one a couple of weeks ago with chips and salad and mayo, it was lovely. drools.

The plan I'm doing doesn't do meals, as in provide them. I have 2 shakes a day and one meal 4-600 cals. There are a couple of snack options in the pack I bought.

Currently having a chocolate shake. I think the problem is, they are just ok. I would never choose to have one otherwise. Maybe that's the point? 😂 make food not at all enjoyable.

Oh well, no pain no gain. I've felt the hunger today, but stuck to it completely. Only had one coffee too! Oh, I did have a diet pop to help me through. I'm not worried about that .

How's everyone else doing?

whatthewhatthewhat · 17/09/2019 22:24

Oh dear, and some marmite peanut butter...

I'll will try harder tomorrow! Lol

Ending on 760 calories. I actually prefer the shakes (Slimfast) over fannying about with calories, so will try to stick to them in future.

Threeminis · 17/09/2019 23:20

Can I join?

I'm low carbing. Have some exante products in the cupboard but really hated it so just for emergencies.
We're going to St Andrews for the weekend in the middle of October so I'm aiming for a stone off by then.
Then Amsterdam the middle of November so a stove off by then.
And finally another one off for Christmas.
(I find it easier to break it down into 'manageable' chunks)

ILoveAnOwl · 17/09/2019 23:35

I'm a week and a half into lighter life. Couple of blips so far, but feeling fine. I'll join you for Monday weigh in!

Hello @Threeminis and @ILoveAnOwl

Londonsuffolkmummy · 18/09/2019 06:56

No only started the exante February this year on and off

I lost the weight basically through restricting and a warped vision of eating mixed with xenical (orlistat)

I want to make this the last time and try and get into healthy eating

Londonsuffolkmummy · 18/09/2019 07:08

The first time round I lost the 9 stone in around 9 months second time probably about the same maybe a bit longer

For anyone on exante I went to Poundland and they have protein bars I checked the fat content and it’s basically the same as exante so instead of usually spending 45 quid a time I’ll just buy 10

feellikezerobucks · 18/09/2019 07:28

I made it through day 1....although I did go and watch telly on my bed at 8.15pm to resist any food....🤞🏻 I'm as strong today as I'm already starving and my DD was up a lot during the night feeling unwell 🤢

whatthewhatthewhat · 18/09/2019 07:35

@feellikezerobucks sleep deprivation here too from a snotty toddler! Makes everything harder :-(

@Londonsuffolkmummy wow, nine st in nine months is amazing!

Does anyone know if we should take vitamins whilst doing this? There's a lot in the bars already!

OP posts:
whatthewhatthewhat · 18/09/2019 08:13

So I'm gonna have to do three meals and 200 kcals of snack as a bedding in week!
(Ate ham cheese and cucumber when making packed lunches!) lol

OP posts:
Sparrowlegs248 · 18/09/2019 09:23

@feellikezerobucks

I've been in bed earlier too, can only be a bonus as I stay up far too late.

Elzbells · 18/09/2019 12:01

So, first shake down plus 2litres of water. Feeling determined. No more restarts for me!

whatthewhatthewhat · 18/09/2019 12:16

@Elzbells how many times have you peed? 🤣🤣

OP posts:
Elzbells · 18/09/2019 12:19

May as well stay in the bathroom 😂

whatthewhatthewhat · 18/09/2019 12:29

I just like to comfort myself with the thought I'm peeing out calories as I get out of bed at 3 AM! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

OP posts:
Alwaysgrey · 18/09/2019 12:48

2 cups of decaf green tea, 2 cups of hot flavoured water, 750ml of water plus a shake. Determined to have a better day today.

feellikezerobucks · 18/09/2019 13:30

Had the strawberry yogurt bar for breakfast and just having the mango smoothie now.....
I'm constantly internally fighting with myself "just have "one last meal" and start tomorrow" but I need to continue, only 36 hours in to my 97 day plan 🤦🏽‍♀️

We all need to continue being strong 💪🏼

whatthewhatthewhat · 18/09/2019 13:41

@feellikezerobucks it's bullshit isn't it! How can you want something so much, yet keep telling yourself not to do it? 🤷🏻‍♀️

OP posts:
Elzbells · 18/09/2019 14:19

I've been starting tomorrow since January. Was desperate to lose the weight for my August holiday - actually was the fattest I've ever been when I went.

I always self sabotage, I've started with a shake every Monday, talked myself into doing WW instead by lunchtime - eat a sandwich, track it, think damn it I'll just have some crisps - binging till the weekend.

I know that by Day 3 I will be cruising and it will be easier, it's all about getting past the first few days.

Alwaysgrey · 18/09/2019 15:01

@Elzbells I’m the same. I have good and bad foods and when I have bad foods it’s a slippery slope and becomes Ill start tomorrow. And then tomorrow never really comes. Stupid thing is I know I’m very overweight and dangerously unfit and at risk of diabetes (two of my family are type 2) and my kids desperately want me to go and swim with them yet I still stuff crap in my mouth. This thread and checking in here is helping though.
