Anyone up for losing a stone?

I am bursting out of all of my clothes, I have decided to lose the offending stone.

Just weighed myself and I'm 10'8.

I could probably do with losing 1.5 stones but I'm setting a goal of one stone which will get me back into my clothes.

My starting weight is 10 stones 4 pounds but all might change by Tuesday as it’s been an indulgent long weekend! Good luck to everyone. Would love to hear what everyone’s weight loss plan is!

I'm in too. I'm also peri menopausal, fattening up round my waist. Clothes are tight and I've given in to elasticated waistsShock . I need your help! I'm 9 stone 9 pounds and want to loose a stone ideally, but anything would be good. I've no self control. Any ideas on how to get some? I know I lose weight if I cut carbs and sugar, ha ha ha...so easy to write and do hard to do!

Hi, can I join please? I hit 10' 6 a few weeks ago! I'm currently hovering around the 10 mark but would like to get back to 9.5 Grin
My metabolism has definitely slowed in my thirties and after my second child. That or I never readjusted after breastfeeding Blush
Either way, so far I've been making small changes; going swimming, portion control and healthy snacks and it has definitely helped. Holiday in 5 days though!

Right, I've finally made myself step on the scales. It's so long since I used them I almost couldn't find them and then my hope was that the batteries might be flat - but no, I had to go ahead with it. I'm 10.11 which isn't quite the utter horror I was expecting, though it's much heavier than I should be. If I manage to get below 10st I'll be happy, so that's my initial goal. I've had a pretty indulgent weekend, so that first pound or two should be easy enough. By the way, I'm pleased you lot are all weighing in stones and pounds as nothing else quite makes sense to me!

I'm heading towards a really busy time at work, some of it staying away at hotels and socialising and I'm also moving house in a couple of weeks, so it will be difficult to actually settle properly to healthy eating. I'm going to try and set a few rules for myself such as 'no cake' and 'no alcohol' which might help, but it's not ideal. As you can see, I'm very good at excuses, but im determined to do it!

Ok I've weighed this am and it's horrific..so I've started in earnest..are we weighing in on Monday am? Just for the record I'm going to low carb (No potatoes, pasta, bread) and eat lots of fruit and veg x

Yes low carb for me too. Only thing that seems to work! Starting weight 10 4 want to get to 9 7. Aarrrgghh

I weighed in at 12st 3lbs on Saturday after I had posted. So put weight on. Was bloated as I was due a visit from Aunt Flo and lo and behold I'm back to my original 12st.

I did keto back in Jan/Feb and lost a stone but the minute I started eating carbs (even sensibly) it all came back on.
Because of this I am not going to do low carb but will limit my carb intake to, today for example;

B: coffee
L: cheese tomato onion and jalapeño panini w/coleslaw on the side
D: ginger/garlic/chilli pork with cabbage and broccoli

Trying hard not to snack. Will drink lots of water and drink herbal tea if I have hunger pangs throughout the day.

Fly off on holiday on Friday. Time to de bloat at least! I would be interested in the WhatsApp group too if you have already set one up?

Hi.. this sounds like a great idea, can I join? I simply need to lose a stone, no gimmicks or theories or clubs. My approach will be sensible cutting down.. I know it works.. tried low carb, SW and WW in the past year but I tend to focus too much on the rules and get over excited about the allowed foods. I'm going to pretend everything is allowed as long as I don't overindulge and have 2 very light meals per day.

Do we weigh in today? GrinBlush

Right, I’m in if it’s not too late.

I was 15st (5’ 8”) in January and joined a gym. I’d been going 2-4 times per week, not dieting as such but just cutting out crap. At the beginning of May I was 13st 9lbs and pretty happy with loss so far. Then I got a viral infection and was too tired to go to the gym - I was only off work for a week, but was still sleeping for 10/12 hours a night and generally pretty exhausted. In the past week or so, I’ve felt a lot better and will go back to the gym soon. Meantime, my weight has gone back up to 14st (weighed this morning).

I’m really up for getting back on track. First goal is to get to about 12st 7lbs and ultimately I’d like to get to BMI

So far I've had porridge and fruit for breakfast, veg soup for lunch. Dinner will.likely be sausages, mash and veg. I've drunk loads of herbal tea too.

@Penquin13 your joke poster is very apt for me lol.

Spectacularly fell off the wagon and eaten far too much and had wine! I don’t even drink that often but oh poured it for me and it would have been rude not to drink it. I only had the one glass though. But then I had far too many nuts.

I started out 10 13 about 6 weeks ago. Down to 10 8 but hit a wall. It’s not helping that brother is staying and he likes to cook!

I was a bit down in the dumps yesterday for various reasons and ended up eating a cupcake at work. But the rest of my day was good and I still went for a run even though I really didn’t want to so I count it as a win. Previously that would of been a reason to have a full on binge and I wouldn’t of gone running.

Today I plan;
Overnight oats with berries and half a banana,
Quiche with salad
Cauliflower and mushroom burger with couscous and veg
Aero mousse and fruit for snacks.

Will be riding the horse and going to an aerial silks class today

Morning!
I’m lo carbing & trying to get an early 5.30ish dinner so that I get a decent fast in until breakfast at around 8.30.
Although you don’t need to calorie count when lo carbing I’m also tracking on mfp as I find it helps keep me focused. I’m also aiming for 12000 steps a day & will try to motivate myself to do an online daily toning sesh- not yet actually done that though!
In the past I’ve found the timing really makes a difference even if the scales don’t move downwards, everything just looks a bit better. So I really, really should just get on & do it, it’s only 20 mins ffs!!

Can I join too please? I had a baby nearly 4 months ago and although I am back to my prepregnancy weight, I would like to be at my wedding day weight.

I was 13 stone the day before I gave birth, and I now weight 10 stone 6/7 pounds. And I seem to have been stuck here despite being super careful with what I eat.

My first goal is to reach 10 stone and my secondary goal is 9 and a half stone. (I am 5ft 6 btw).

I'm doing the bumps and burpees exercise plan 4 times a week in the house. It has been pouring with rain a few days a week where I live, how does everyone get their steps up on days like these?

I’ve weighed and I’m the heaviest I’ve been since January at 149lbs.

Back on it!

Will be lower carb, log everything on MFP, generally more mindful about what I put in my gob!!! Real food only.
