Hi all, made a new thread as the last one filled up so quickly and I'm still bloody massive!Grin

Rules are: be kind, no judging, have a sense of humour, weigh on Wednesday mornings... and no training with Amanda Grin

@YouBoggleMyMind @recklessgran @MrsMummyBx @emilyjeff and others! Here's a brand new spanking thread.

New starting weight: 14st exactly.

I agree reckless it's a great thread and it is a bloody marathon!

The phrase "you can't outrun a bad diet" is so true and I hate that I'm addicted to crap food. Wish I liked veggies and not carbs Hmm

I may still go for a swim later - I'm also going for a walk tomorrow Smile

What's dinner for everyone? I'm having a jacket potato and steak with peas!

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/05/2019 17:38

Still pretty full from a late breakfast at CP so not sure what's on the cards for dinner.

Tomorrow I'll weigh in and see the damage and then I'm going to track everything that passes my lips!

recklessgran · 20/05/2019 19:13

I like the sound of your dinner @Tinsel. I'm having sardine salad but have a lovely steak pie that I got at the butchers in the village which I'm cooking for DH and DD4. She is coming home for a 24 hour flying visit in between her on call shifts and requested a "proper" dinner - so it's pie with jerseys, broccoli, runner beans and carrots with steamed golden syrup pudding and custard for dessert - I hope that's proper enough but suspect she'll have something to say about the calorie content! [ I think she's also hoping to catch up with DD2 and DGD 19 months who will be here tomorrow as usual.] Planning for DD2's 40th going well and I'm really happy so far and feeling excited as what I've done is exactly up her street - I've even found a gastro pub that has a whole vegan menu. I've booked a table there for the Saturday night which is the eve of her birthday. [DD2 and DGD are vegan]. I've found a stables in the New Forest that can give us the hack for 7 on her actual birthday but they want the height and weight for all participants -have to do a ring round tonight as I've no clue -grateful I'm a bit scared of horses and therefore won't have to give my weight.
Feels like it's all coming together to make a perfect weekend for DD.

TinselAndKnickers · 20/05/2019 19:19

That meal sounds amazing! And the weekend you've planned also sounds great Grin I wouldn't be going on the horse either - but it's legs would buckle under me BlushGrin

Have decided I am going to do some swimming and water jogging tonight! Leaving soon and nervous to go back Blush

Burnt 684 cals.. bloody knackered!!

TinselAndKnickers · 21/05/2019 18:17

Hi everyone - how's your day been?

I've been okay eating wise - not tracked but had lots of healthy stuff. Dinner is a Spanish chicken ready meal from Aldi which is only about 360 cals and I went on a 2 mile walk earlier!

YouBoggleMyMind · 21/05/2019 18:18

Good job Tinsel!!

I weighed in this morning and I'm 12st 6.8lbs.
Have drawn a line and tracked everything today! I feel pretty bloated though so not expecting anything radical but I need to belt up and get on with it!

YouBoggleMyMind · 21/05/2019 18:19

Reckless that meal sounds good and I hope DD enjoyed it, I defo would!!

YouBoggleMyMind · 21/05/2019 18:20

Hi Timsel 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

recklessgran · 21/05/2019 22:29

Evening all. 2 slices of toast and marmite, 2 biscuits and a small portion of lasagne today - so not great really foodwise. Oh well, we'll see what the scales say in the morning. DD4 enjoyed her visit including the dinners and has gone home now. DD3 e-mailed to say she liked the look of the weekend for DD2 very much. [Relieved about that] but haven't heard from DD5 yet about it. Need her height and weight to book the hack so I'm going to call her tomorrow if she hasn't messaged by the morning. Otherwise feeling chipper and hope everyone is O.K. @MrsMummy is AWOL so I hope she's O.K. with bubba2.

recklessgran · 22/05/2019 09:00

Morning all this weigh day Wednesday.
Last week 13st 5.5lbs
Today 13st 2.25lbs
Happy with that especially as I haven't been sticking to my one meal a day plan over the last few days. Going to try to do that from today with my holiday now less than 3 weeks away. I really want to be under that elusive 13 stones before I go as I know I will gain a few pounds in that week's holiday.

emilyjeff · 22/05/2019 09:33

Morning all- that's really good reckless! Your holiday plans for your DD sound lovely, as you know I am a horsey person myself so that sounds like an ideal birthday present :)
Sounds like you are doing well Tinsel amazing calorie burn for one exercise session!
I've stayed the same from last week. Not too disappointed as my eating hasn't been great the last two days- I blame the time of the month, always want to eat carbs/ sweet stuff!
Have recently discovered marmite rice cakes tho...they're so good! Give you that salty taste that I always seem to crave after exercise and they're something like 30 calories each :)

TinselAndKnickers · 22/05/2019 11:05

Maintain for me too! Happy with that considering I've done nothing Grin

Reckless you are amazing at this weight loss lark. Still beating any of us by miles! Where is your holiday?

Ahh that sounds a great snack Emily I wish I liked marmite!

OP posts:
emilyjeff · 22/05/2019 11:28

Haha tinsel I'm the only one in the house that likes it so means no one else will steal them! Grin

recklessgran · 22/05/2019 12:30

@emily - wow marmite rice cakes - I didn't know that. I'm definitely getting some of those as I'm addicted to toast and marmite and that would be a much lower calorie snack for me. Thanks for the tip! Yes, I'm excited about the weekend for DD2 - she'll be overwhelmed I'm sure but really deserves this. Just waiting for the equestrian centre to confirm and then I'll have everything sorted.
@Tinsel, holiday is in Crete - we've been numerous times but it's our happy place. Long story but we've had a pretty shit year with my health, so looking forward to sitting in our favourite restaurant overlooking the harbour in Chania eating freshly caught grilled sardines.......can't wait!

YouBoggleMyMind · 22/05/2019 13:36

12st 6.8lb for me, same as yesterday!

TinselAndKnickers · 22/05/2019 16:27

Sounds amazing reckless I'm sure you'll enjoy it - you have to sod off all the rules the whole holiday!

Tinsel this reminded me of your gym classes and Amanda!!

21/01 thread 2.. The Wednesday Weighers club.. sometimes!
recklessgran · 23/05/2019 17:23

Ha!Ha! @YouBoggle that is so funny! Got some of those marmite rice cakes as recommended by @emily and they're lovely. Less than 30 calories each too so I had a couple of them with my cup of tea at lunch time. Since I've had the thyroxine I don't seem to be able to make it to dinner time without having a snack of some sort. Never mind, I'm still staying in the 12 - 8 eating window so that's something.

YouBoggleMyMind · 23/05/2019 19:22

Really weirdly, I like marmite but I don't like marmite flavour things... like twiglets, marmite rice cakes, marmite crisps. It's odd.

emilyjeff · 23/05/2019 20:03

Oh good glad you like them reckless :)
I've been good today... ran 6km this morning! Furthest I've done for a while, even braved wearing shorts! (Ran down a bridleway so didnt see anyone the whole time haha)
No naughty snacks, really wanted a mcflurry when I picked DS2 up but got an ice pop instead! x

recklessgran · 23/05/2019 20:23

6km! Holy mother of God that would definitely kill me - I doubt I could run 600 metres these days. I so admire all the activity that you youngsters get up to. I just about manage a walk round the block! I've been good today - chicken salad and 3 marmite rice cakes. Numerous cups of tea. DGC have just gone home and they had breaded chicken and chips with jelly and icecream for pudding. I've sent them home with half a dozen jellies to make for half term.

TinselAndKnickers · 24/05/2019 16:35

Grin that pic.

Reckless your DGC's food always sounds so homely and nice!

I've had a mini hangover today so not eaten a great deal but I'm sure I drank enough calories for the whole month last night Blush it was my friend's leaving do at work! Had to Grin

recklessgran · 24/05/2019 20:23

Evening - just checking in quickly. Cheese salad sandwich and JD and coke in the pub. 2 slices of toast and marmite. BAD!

YouBoggleMyMind · 24/05/2019 21:30

Evening all!

Haven't had the best few days. I can't seem to get my head in the game. I'm watching a Russell Howard DVD with a bag of skittles and drumstick squashies... Blush
