Hi all, made a new thread as the last one filled up so quickly and I'm still bloody massive!Grin

Rules are: be kind, no judging, have a sense of humour, weigh on Wednesday mornings... and no training with Amanda Grin

@YouBoggleMyMind @recklessgran @MrsMummyBx @emilyjeff and others! Here's a brand new spanking thread.

New starting weight: 14st exactly.

Massive well done Tinsel!! So pleased for you :)

Thats great that you can now run 5k, you must feel so much better for being fitter as well as so much lighter! I did 10k last week for the first time in years. Actually really appreciate how this pandemic has given me more time for exercise, I am running three times a week as well as a bit of yoga.

Would be nice to hear from others if anyone else is still around? X

Well done Emily!!

Hi guys I thought I would do a little update.

So I have lost 3 stone now and met my goal!!!! I can’t believe it. So happy. I was a very tight size 16 at the start and now I am a very comfortable size 12. I can’t believe I actually stuck it out.

Starting weight - 14st 5lb
Current weight - 11st 5lb
Starting waist measurement - 41 inches
Waist now - 30 inches
Size then - 16 (if I squeezed!)
Size now - 12 Grin

I can now run 5k. I haven’t had chub rub AT ALL during this heat. Ive bloody done it Grin progress pics to follow. I am only 9lb from the weight I was when I was 17 (5 years ago!) so if I can get to that I’ll be even happier. Wow I can’t believe it. I still kept Wednesday as my weigh day after all this time Smile

I hope you are all okay x

Oh sorry. I am well thanks. Working from home has been a struggle for eating. And I miss my gym.

But trying to be good and done a few home workouts.

Those look delicious!

Yeah me too Emily! Having more snacks in the house is not helping.

Hope you are all doing okay!

Ooh they look good MummyB!
I'm not being as good as I was...being at home all day with free access to the kitchen is not good. Tried to do 2 weeks of shopping so I didn't have to go so often but it just means we've eaten more!! Trying to still do some exercise, ran 3 miles on Sunday but not done much since. Such a hard time for everyone isn't it x

@moonnoodles hope you’re ok? I really need to diet but because I’m stuck inside I’m just baking with my son - we made these today

Starting fresh today. Been doing okay. Not good and not bad but I am staying inside so getting a lot less steps in than I used to.

Hi @emilyjeff it’s a bloody nightmare isn’t it - trying to keep DS1 entertained is so tiring bless him and I’m comfort eating in the extreme. I need to curb it so I get control before this whole thing comes to an end. I’m breastfeeding DS2 though so have to be careful not to go too crazy with it (not a lot of chance of that lol). I’m thinking Monday will be a good day to start a new healthier regime? I’ve been doing a packet of biscuits a day - honestly it’s an addiction!!

Hey all, hope everyone is well?
I am now working from home, only since tuesday but already the novelty has worn off. Its kind of boring and lonely with no colleagues to talk to! DH and DS1 still working (construction industry). How is everyone else finding it?
Gym is now closed. Did go for 2 mile run yesterday though. Going to walk the dogs in a min, feeling thankful that we live in a rural area and not likely to see anyone at all whilst out. Sods law that its brilliant sunshine whilst we are all stuck at home!
On the plus side weighed myself this morning as 9 stone 8.5lbs! So close to my original goal now. Take care everyone x

Hey ladies
I'm still here, still healthy eating. Not weighing every week but think I'm around 9st 10. We are still working in the office as normal at the min, went to the gym Monday night and for a run yesterday. Not sure if the gym will stay open tho. Tbh I've got more motivation on my eating cos I'm a bit anxious how long my food stock will last so its working to stop me eating more than I really need.
All my nights out and weekend away for Hubby's birthday been cancelled :( such uncertainty at the moment...not good for anxiety. Hope you are all well x

I am still around. Yoyoing over the same 5 lbs at the moment. Still down the nearly 4 stone from last year but its an effort to maintain it let alone keep going. Trying to be vigilant with food while working from home as the urge to snack is high. And the gym is closed so I need to get on some home exercise! I have no excuse. I have weights and a punching bag! Plus lots of dvds. Just need to use them!!

DH and I are both at home. So far havent driven eachother insane yet and are being pretty helpful about keeping snacking down and sticking to balanced meals but its only been a few days!

All my fertility clinic appts have been cancelled which makes sense but sucks. They said I will have priority when they resume service whenever that is.

Am trying to motivate myself with the fantasy of returning to working in the office fitter than when I left. It would be really great to be able to return and get lots of wow you look goods! ...just have to do the work. Confused

Oh hey 👋🏻 I'm here, I'm 12st 1lb and that's where I seem to stay! I'm currently on metformin which seems to have stabilised things. Now I need to stop eating and drinking crap. That's where the loss will happen. This impending lock down and nursery closure is going to cause a lot of issues which I am nervous about!

@tinselandknickers wow you’re doing amazingly!!!! I’ve flopped completely and heavier than I’ve ever been. I need to get back on it - temptation being at home more is to eat what’s in the cupboards! Schools finish this Friday for goodness knows how long and I’m going to go absolutely bonkers with my son at home all day! Our house is in complete chaos as we are having work done which no doubt will come to a halt with all of this. Hope you’re all doing well and would love to hear some updates! Xx

Hi ladies, going slightly insane from WFH and I’m only on day 2. Just an update - lost some more!

I’m at 12st 7.5lb now Grin so so happy with how it’s going. I have no idea if it’s because I’ve stopped eating meat or whether it’s because I’m eating less, I’ve still been having treats everyday. Woohoooo!

With covid19 etc I bet the holiday will be cancelled but I’m still trying to stay motivated. I hope everyone is safe. @recklessgran @MrsMummyBx @emilyjeff @YouBoggleMyMind @MoonNoodles how are you all?

Still alive. Still struggling.

Re-dedicated myself today after having a shit diet for like all of february. Should be seeing the fertility people soon so if I dont get my shit together then I wont quaify for treatment. I am under the bmi requirement now but need to keep going because still too close. And the lower I get the lower risk when I do get pregnant. So. Yeah.

Still here. Still plugging along.

When is your vacation @TinselAndKnickers ??

I am going on holiday in May and hoping to be healthier and fitter before then.

Morning!
I sympathise moon noodles, injury is so frustrating and hard to come back from. I have run on and off for about the past 5 years but usually just as I get fitter I have problems with my shins or my knees and have to stop. I've been really careful this time to step it up gradually and warm up/ cool down etc so hoping I stay injury free this time.
I was 9.12 this morning, same as when I last weighed. Its my time of the month though so my halo has slipped a bit the last couple of days as I always crave chocolate and biscuits

@YouBoggleMyMind I am going through pcos and ttc and it is stressful. If you want to talk about it let me know.

@TinselAndKnickers trampolining sounds amazing.

@emilyjeff wow thats awesome.

Today I am down 5 lbs since the start of 2020 but still up 2lbs from my lowest weight back in november. I am hoping to lose another 20lbs as that will put my bmi in the healthy range for my height. And do some more toning. I also hope to get back to the gym in 2020. I had been doing so well and then I got injured in september and took ages to recover and just fell off. I went once in november and havent been back since. I still get my 10,000 steps most days but I need to get back into the habit of working out. I miss it.

Ah the whole gang is still here yay!
Mummyb you're allowed to be heavier than when you started, you've just had a baby! I remember having DS1, imagining he was just gonna pop out and my stomach would be flat again straightaway! Was devastated leaving hospital looking about 4 months pregnant, had to ring DH and tell him to bring me a baggy top in lol
I started at 11 stone ish so lost just over a stone, am aiming to lose about 5lbs more to get me to 9.7 but not too bothered if I don't lose any more now, just need to maintain it!! And hopefully tone up a bit more too.
Moon noodles you've done great! How much more are you aiming to lose?
Tinsel trampolining sounds fab, I used to do it as a kid and absolutely loved it.
Boggle sorry to hear things are not soon good for you at the moment, we're here to listen if you need us
Wonder how reckless gran is doing?
And as its weds tomorrow, does that mean we resume the weigh ins?
