Hi all, made a new thread as the last one filled up so quickly and I'm still bloody massive!Grin

Rules are: be kind, no judging, have a sense of humour, weigh on Wednesday mornings... and no training with Amanda Grin

@YouBoggleMyMind @recklessgran @MrsMummyBx @emilyjeff and others! Here's a brand new spanking thread.

New starting weight: 14st exactly.

Oh no tinsel don't be too hard on yourself tho, its been a stressful time for you. I totally know what you mean about the whole lifestyle thing tho...feel so proud of myself when I've had a good eating day but those good days need to turn into good weeks and good months until it becomes second nature.
Its difficult though, I have such bad eating habits. As a teenager I was skinny so I would eat loads, chocolate bars and crisps every day, and so as an adult I have carried it on! DH seems to eat whatever he likes and still stay skinny aswell Confused

Don't worry - I'm going to be here for years! DD2 showed me a pic of DH and I on the beach with DGD and I was shocked at how fat I look. Need to lose at least 2 stone I would say so I'll be lucky if half of that has gone by Christmas at this rate. Oh well we can all do it together!

Thanks everyone - feeling a bit better today. Back to weighing and properly tracking my food (cups of tea excluded!) and I'm planning on going for a walk later and may even try to jog a bit of itShock

Jacket potato with fry light, salt and pepper cooked in the oven for an hour to get all fluffy with some butter is only 314 calories which is great as it's a proper comfort food for me, so I will eat these as a default lunch when I'm at home!

What's everyone up to this week/weekend?

I also feel a bit better today @Tinsel and busy getting in holiday mode. A new linen shift dress has arrived and made me feel better about myself as very forgiving and even DH was complimentary when I tried it on. [I was worried that I might look like a teletubby in it!] I had salmon salad last night and will be having sardine salad today.Trying to be good for now as I intend to forget the diet on holiday and start again when I get back. DGC coming as usual and they have requested sausage, beans and chips for dinner. Looking forward to seeing them - usually discuss books and end up ordering some for them from Amazon. [I love reading and try to encourage them.] Will resist pinching even one chip!

Wow @Tinsel - you really have got your shit together - good for you!
Hope everyone else is O.K. I'm in the middle of cooking the DCC's dinner - it smells lovely and I'd love to have it with a fried egg on top. NO - it's sardine salad for me. [Will dump a load of black pepper on it to make it more up my street.]

I've done pretty well today, went for a run straight after dropping DS2 at school. Did loads of poo picking at the horse field and then went for a nice hack with my friend. Haven't eaten much this afternoon, not feeling hungry at all. Had a small piece of chicken and some salad for dinner and it seemed tasteless :( hope I'm not gonna be ill x

Hello team! I haven’t had a great day food wise- no sweets or choccies but had a Chinese for dinner - it was a bit greasy and that’s not sitting well with me at the moment, unfortunately it all ended up coming back up where it went down- on the bright side I am probably fine without those calories!

Going to a spa in the morning with a friend and I CANT WAIT - just to switch off and do nothing all day!!!!

Have a lovely end to your weeks ladies x

Morning all - pouring down here and I'm off out with g/f for a bit of shopping and pub lunch. @YouBoggle you are not failing - you're still here with us and we're all in it together remember? @MrsMummy enjoy your spa day - you certainly deserve it after what you've been through.
I have been trying on my holiday clothes and find that I can't do up 3 pairs of stretch crops from last year. New one ordered for next day delivery. I have also ordered another linen dress same as the one I've got but different design spurred on by how good it looked on. Not buying any more clothes as hoping that I will need a whole new smaller wardrobe by the next holiday. Hope springs eternal!

Ahh, poor @Tinsel - distract yourself - go out or something? You're doing so well. I've just eaten toast [again!] so not being good. I've been to the hairdressers for a tidy up. Second linen dress arrived but is too big on the bust for some reason - baggy armholes showing bra so it will have to go back. Not really worried as I have plenty of holiday clothes that fit me fine.New undies have arrived from M&S - not holding my breath but need to go and try on.
No idea what I'm going to eat today except toast but will catch up later. Hope everyone's having a good day.

Ooh reckless you're making me jealous doing all the holiday prep! Not done so much revision today so working into the early hours. Finished today 100 calories over my allowance so not great but better than a total binge Smile

Got a wedding to go to in July and I'm not buying an outfit till the week before as I'd like to lose at least 6lb in the next 6 weeks!

@Tinsel - I'm nowhere near ready. House needs cleaning from top to bottom as I can't go without leaving everything pristine. That's a job for tomorrow. Also need to visit DD2 and DGD as they go away the day we get back so if we don't see them tomorrow DGD will forget who we are! Need to make the mummy calls, defuzz, exfoliate, mani, pedi etc.not to mention packing....
I'll be knackered by the time we get there. I'll be AWOL from here for the week since I refuse to have a mobile so won't be posting but will do as soon as I get back. Will be thinking of you all and will miss our solidarity that's for sure.Don't worry about revision @Tinsel, you're nearly there - last exam Tuesday isn't it? @YouBoggle AWOL are you O.K?

Hi ladies, hope everyone is having a good weekend.
Had a busy day yesterday- DS2's birthday so we went out to this climbing place near us with some of his mates and then out to lunch- I had macaroni cheese as a treat, but no dessert. Then had a hen do last night in london, ate loads of pizza. So pretty crap eating wise.
Actually felt slimmer when I left to go out last night tho as my dress seemed a little looser than I remembered. The hen has put some pics on fb this morning tho and I look bloody massive! So feeling a bit crap now

@emily you have my utmost sympathy! Exactly the same happened to me last weekend with a pic DD took of DH and I on the beach. Scary stuff - I had no idea I looked so huge. Never mind at least I'm attempting to address it.
@Tinsel I've started chucking a few bits I'm worried about forgetting into the cases. 4 paperbacks for a start - chick lit for sunbed. No idea how to pack effectively as I never wear everything I take. 3 cossies/tankinis plus 7 day outfits and 7 night outfits along with multiple pairs of toepost and sandals is daft and unnecessary right?
I've just eaten a cheese roll. Sigh.No dieting going on here really but I am cleaning the house so perhaps that helps a little?

Happy (?!) Monday everyone Grin reckless I bet you can't wait to hop on the plane. I'm so jealous.

I'm the same RE pictures - caught myself on my holiday pictures and felt disgusted! Not doing too bad RE eating, since getting back into the routine. Smile

Thanks Tinsel.
A few things seem to be building up... I am currently a SAHM but feel guilty for it (no one has said anything, it's me), got head hinted for a job, they were super keen, interviewed which I felt went well, they didn't bother coming back to me after, with ANY feedback. I didn't even need to go for this job but it seemed a good fit and they couldn't even be arsed to come back to me after to tell me they weren't actually interested. I have very little confidence in myself anyway, add in everything that has happened to DS and before (3 years of ttc, fertility treatment and an early miscarriage) and for them to not even have the fucking decency to give me feed back gives me a swift kick in the vagina that I am shit and not good enough. I can't even get any will power together to lose a few pounds. I also walked into my bed post this evening and now leg hurts and I'll have an epic bruise in the morning which I'll post here GrinSadsorry.
